Personal Info Still Shows Up

It is pretty messed up that there are companies like this that have no shame in blasting someone’s personal information for the world to see. I removed my link via the website instructions but if you search my name it still shows up, my full date of birth, full name, address, phone number and my relatives.

Personal info on peepfind

Peepfind published my relatives and personal info online without my permission! I want it removed now. Not even accurate!!!

Take my information out of peepfind

I searched myself and found not only my information but my family members as well. I need this removed ASAP.

REMOVAL LINK DOES NOT FULLY DELETE YOUR INFORMATION FROM DATABASE - SpeedyHunt / PeepFind / DiscoverThem Removal Link (removal.php)

I went through the "removal request" process (https://speedyhunt.com/removal.php) to delete my private information from the database of our beloved professional web scraper (https://www.freelancer.com/u/johanfourieinc) Johan Furie Everything looks OK, however if you still search your name after the "removal" you will STILL see a result # on the website next to your name. See attached pic (name blurred for privacy, duh) This means even though the private information was moved from the front-facing website, the info.. or at least your name, is still being stored on his servers somewhere - the servers are finding your info when you search for it, but they're just not displaying it. Which leads me to believe that Johan Furie is just storing the information to publish it again in a few months when this POS site blows over. Everyone report Johan Furie on freelancer.com for stealing and publishing private information of US citizens, and only US citizens, on his websites SpeedyHunt / PeepFind / DiscoverThem as well as report to FTC immediately, and BBB. I have done all three, have you?

Peep Find illegal refusal to remove personal info

Requested peepfind.com remove personal information. No response - except from a third party site that wanted money to remove the information. Then the information on peepfind.com gets redirected to speedyhunt.com. Same person owns both sites - Johan Fourie. He responded that by 1/26/18 auto removal would be implemented. Turns out to be false. This is the only website in this category of personal information peddlers that refuses to remove personal information upon request. This is illegal and a breach of FTC rules and regulations governing commerce, privacy rights etc. I have been a victim of identity theft and this website continues to expose me to further risk. I urge other victims of peep find.com and speedyhunt.com to complain to the FTC.

Possible automated removal coming soon

I first noticed my personal info posted on Peepfind.com. After no response from their customer service and a crazy ring around the rosy where they redirected me to a third party site that tried to charge me around $200 to get my info removed, I reached out to the website owner. At the time, he informed me that the website would be shutting down within a few days. Now however, the website (along with my personal info) is still appearing but it's under a new site speedyhunt.com. (Keep in mind that peepfind.com now redirects to speedyhunt.com.) I emailed the website owner again (johanfourieinc@***.com) and here is what he had to say. I'm hoping he is being truthful and that this info will help anyone out who is trying to get their info removed from the site: "We are in the process of implementing a complete and automated removal system." "It will be online no later than Friday the 26th of January." "It will be located at https://speedyhunt.com/removal.php" Let's see how this goes!

Johan Fourie of PeepFind, SpeedyHunt is untrustworthy

I too have been trying to remove my info from the site. Now when I click on the PeepFind link, I am taken to SpeedyHunt.com, which is displaying my information. I have faxed a copy of my license to +27 (0) 864****70, I have sent emails to info@***.com and [email protected]. I have asked repeatedly that my info be removed and when would my info be removed. Johan Fourie does not care about the privacy of others and has proven himself to be dishonest and untrustworthy. He says he's going to remove the info but he has not done so. If you do a Google search for johanfourieinc, one of the results is: https://www.freelancer.com/u/johanfourieinc . Here Johan Fourie is touting his skills and how professional he is: “Quality work, ingenuity and great service is paramount.” Not true at all!

Peepfind remove my info!!!!

This is ridiculous. I contacted Peepfind and had them remove my info after showing my DL to prove it was me. Now peepfind gets redirected to "Speedy Hunt" and my information is there again. I've reiterated a million times the threat to safety this nonsense poses for me. These people are ridiculous. Checking out what legal options I have as this is not the first time this is occurring. I Google my name all the time. When this happened the first time, I reached out by e-mail and after some back and forth, was able to resolve it. Now that I look again, under Google it shows "peepfind" as the website but when I open the link it takes me to SpeedyHunt. What is this!

Remove My Address Please

Updated by user Jan 16, 2018
It turns out my name and address is still on PeepFind without my permission on my other computer. Therefore nothing was resolved so far. .

It turns out when I do a google search on my cellphone, my name and address still shows up on Peepfind. But it does not show up on my Computer in the google search. I do not understand this, so the issue hasn't been resolved yet.

I couldn't believe that my request to have my address removed would actually work.. Tonight I did another google search and I could not find it anywhere under PeepFind.

It appears to have been erased. Thank you.

It took about 4 days for it to happen. This was successful when I didn't expect it to be.

The address of Colorado was accidentally put in here and should be removed. Thank you.

Original review Jan 14, 2018
I did a google search and was shocked to find my name and address on Peepfind.com. They have never asked for my permission to put out my personal information out in the public. And I was very disappointed this happened and not sure how they knew where I lived. Today I sent them two emails asking for a removal with no response. They sent me an automatic message asking to pay hundreds to a site to remove it. That is not right Please remove my personal information off. It is not right to do this to people when they do not want their personal information exposed. Thanks

PeepFind.com Scam

When you follow their "removal procedures" you get a bogus email saying them remove you. I did that 3 times in 90 days still no removal. Then they send you to a paywallto try to get you to pay for removal. The guy who owns the site is Johan Fourie - this is his email address johanfourieinc@***.com. He has several sites and they are hosted by Enom.com and you cab file a complaint with them here https://www.enom.com/help/AbusePolicy.aspx Also recommend going an FCC complaint.

Class Action Lawsuit?

PeepFind, DiscoverThem, and Quanki - all ran by the same person. They've published my cell phone number (there's no way this is 'publicly aggregated information') along with email addresses I had as a minor... not sure how they got this information. I've emailed all three websites info/support email addresses several times each and have gotten 0 responses. My cell phone has been blowing up with SPAM since this has happened. I have already contacted their hosting company but my next step may be my lawyer. If others have been getting increasingly harassed by spammers on the communication outlets published by PeepFind, DiscoverThem, and Quanki - this could be worthy of class action lawsuit for damages. It is disgusting what these websites do to make a quick buck and they have to offer to remove the information. We should not put up with this.

Resolved: Peepfind will not remove my name

Updated by user Nov 10, 2017
After several emails between me and Mr. Fourie, he finally made me understand the name was removed it would just take Google some time to recrawl the page.

I admit I was angry and desperate when I wrote the review, and Mr. Fourie was patient with me in a way I did not deserve since I tore his company a new one in my review.

I still do not understand how my name got on the site along with every email address I've ever had, but now I have Mr. Fourie's assurance that it has been removed and that was all I wanted.

Original review Nov 06, 2017
I contacted Peepfind to remove a profile they made for me, I did not make for myself, and my name from their service because my real name was coming up in searches of my screen name. They removed the profile they created but did not remove my real name. This means anyone who googles my screen name will get my real name and be able to find me on other people finding services. I emailed them again to remove my name, and it didn't turn up in any searches of my screen name until a week ago. Now my name is back on the site even though I've sent them three emails begging them to take it off. I didn't make this profile, I didn't subscribe to their services. The first time I ever was aware of them was when my real name appeared in searches of my screen name. I am a 63 year old woman, I live alone and any troll googling my screen name, a name I use on all my social media, can find where me and my children live just by using a different people finder site. All I want is my name removed from a service I didn't subscribe to and don't want to be a part of. Linda Beiver

Johan Fourie, The Founder of Peepfind.com is a JOKE.

Anyone looking for a contact to Peepfind.com or Quanki.com, his email is johanfourieinc@***.com since their whois.com info. is BS. The official emails for both sites are info@***.com & info@***.com (if they even answer... they take about a month IF they do answer finally). His response to me was LAUGHABLE! due to my removal request. He cursed and told me that everyone could go *** THEMSELVES whom desire removal cause what they do is "legal". Please continue to complain and file with the Internet Crime Complaint Center (www.ic3.gov) per the FTC instructions. There is strength in numbers. I'm assuming it's OK to post email addresses since they have no problem posting everyone else's.
