Do NOT order online! You will not receive what you pay for!

After a decade of shopping for all our seasonal parties, this was our first time ordering online. We had no idea the company took no care in its customers. We will never be shopping here again after we lost $195 and no items delivered.

Do NOT order online! You will NOT receive what you paid for nor a refund, or any help of any kind! We ordered our shipment of birthday supplies for our daughter & sons birthday. We never received the package even though it was said to had been delivered. CLEARLY not to us!! The rep we got was not helpful at all nor did they care one bit we couldnt be receiving it. They offered no kind of help, sympathy of us being out $195. They refused to offer a reshipment or replacement, leaving us out $195 and not able to repurchase in time for my sons birthday this Saturday which is already enough embarrassment to admit! They have completely ruined his party, have taken our $195, and left us with no help. I cant believe a store I have shopped at for all their party decorations since age 1, would do this to us. If you must purchase from them, for the love of GOD only do it in store where they cannot take from you. We will never be purchasing from here again for their party stuff in the future and hate we have gave such an inconsiderate company our business for this long without knowing. Devastating is an understatement!!

Complaint Iselin/ Woodbridge location in NJ

Hello, I would like to make a formal complaint against the store. On Friday at 12:30 I stood on a really long line. I saw the people at the register fill balloons for people who waited on line. When I got to the register I requested 2 balloons because I know anything else would have to be preordered. It was my bosses birthday and I took a long time to wait on line almost a full 15-20 mins only to be told I would have to wait an additional 20 mins. You could tell the male who was working the register did not want to fill the balloons. You could tell that it was an inconvenience to him and he wanted to persuade me into not ordering them. This was extremely hurtful when I have been a client of party city for a long time. The place is designed to celebrate occasions and I left the place in such sorrow because I ran out of time and did not get 2 balloons. I absolutely want to speak to the district manager or corporate office about how this was handled. I waited patiently I should have had 2 balloons filled. I did not want to argue with the man behind the counter so I left. Terrible experience.

Birthday Balloons refusal to inflate without any valid reasons

I live in Palmdale CA, and I had to drive to Santa Clarita CA on Saturday May 6th because Palmdale nor Lancaster had the mixed Heritages Barbie balloons or Barbie Plates or cups as well as being out of any of the specific line of products. On May 7th I went to the Palmdale location to get my balloons inflated since the party wasnt till that day, and I was refused the service from Jose at the location with the reason being that they cant inflate them since I bought them at the other Party City. I explained to Jose at Palmdale that my receipt was at home and he could care less . I then called jazmine at Santa Clarita location to call Lancaster and ask them if they could help. She took their number down as well as my number and said shes call me back and never did. You all have the worst customer service assistants Ive ever dealt with . I am filing on line reviews in numerous places re this ruin oh getting over 100 dollars in balloons not inflated . I realized after the fact that the clerk did not include a receipt with my change . $101.plus change was the amount around at 1pm or so. Thank you for not helping

If you use a promo code, you lose free shipping, you should be able to get what you deserve instead of penalized because you use a promo code sent to you.

I said it all above. You offer a promo code to save 15% and all the sudden free shipping is not available

Order cancellation was paid twice

Good afternoon, I made an order yesterday night around 10PM, i try paying with PAYPAL but i see it didn't went through so i paid with a visa credit card i then after received an email that it was paid with paypal and with the credit card twice. so i will like to cancel the one that was paid with the visa credit card. Party city manager complaint

Hello, good afternoon I work for party city south Miami, I want to get tin contact with someone, head manager CRISTINA CASTILLO is really been treating her team with such hate and disrespect. I want someone to do something before matters do get worst. This is a very poor place to work at, over working us for underpay, but thats not the problem we arent treated like humans, constant yelling, constant disrespect.

Unsatisfied Costumer

I don't know if I'm contacting the correct person or department. If not could you please forward this email to the correct person. I purchased a Halloween Costume 10/20/22 @ the Flowood, MS store. Ended up not being the correct costume for my husband. I went back on 10/27 to return it. I was then informed that I was unable to because the return policy for holiday items are they can be returned up to 7days prior to the holiday. So the associate told me 10/24 was the last day to return item. I get you have a policy, but I was not aware of this policy. I used to work retail years ago and part of my job when selling items to a costumer is to let them know of the return policy. When I bought the costume on 10/20, I was not told of the return policy for holiday items. So I now have a costume that I will not use & money wasted i can't even get back. I just wanted to return it and get the credit back on my card. It was opened once just too look at item, then folded right back up and put back in the bag. Never worn! If I could get the credit back on my card that would be great, but I wanted to make an official complaint. Sales associates for your stores should be telling customers, especially if it's a holiday item, of the return policy. Unless told, people will think return policy is the normal 30days from purchase unless told otherwise. Thank you, Maria Stricklin

Employee complaint

Employee named Theresa at Flowood Mississippi, party city was EXTREMLY RUDE to us about exchanging a Halloween costume, (when the manager of the Ridgeland Mississippi store said we could exchange it and she would work with us, her name was Allison and she was extremely nice.). I will never go back to the Flowood Mississippi store again because of Theresa!!!

Lazy Employees who offer no assistance

I was looking for a particular item, and it showed as available at my local store in Clifton, NJ. I went to the store and couldnt locate the item so asked for assistance. I was told by the employee they no longer carried the item. I showed him the website stating they had it in stock. He claimed to call his manager in the headset and proceeded to state they didnt carry the item. I asked if this was the case, why was it allowing me to order online for store pick up in 2 hours?? He stated that the website was not up to date and inaccurate and the manager insisted they hadnt carried the item in a long time. I left, went to my car, ordered the item online for IN STORE pick up. Before I even got home, within 10 minutes, I got a notification that my item was ready for pickup!!! I had to go back to the store I was just at 10 minutes prior where they insisted they never had the item and that the website was outdated!!! They had it, they just didnt want to take the time to assist a customer in finding it!!

Overcharged

I was charged twice on my checking account. The first amount was 43.96 and the app said the total was 43.71 and then tjere is another charge in my checking account for .25 After i called the store they changed the app total after I said there was a difference in the totals. I have the picture of the first invoice. But why the difference i. The totals and why the extra charge of .25?

Order number 60479**** Wrong item and not getting this on the required date

Hello,I placed an order for 1 dozen inflated balloons on 18th July on www.partycity.com. I had selected the inflated balloon option. When I placed the order the ETA was 21st july. On July 19th when I saw the receipt I called customer service and told them they have shipped the wrong item and I would like to cancel the order, the customer service rep. told me that she will escalate the matter and try to cancel the order. On July 20th I received an email stating that partycity will not be able to cancel this order and it will be delivered on July 26th. I spoke to the customer service and requested her to intercept the package and not to deliver the package but I was told that she will not be able to help me. The customer service rep acknowledged on the phone that this is a mistake on their part.I am being charged for the wrong item which is arriving way after my daughters graduation party. I am being charged 7.99 shipping for something I didn't order and I will not be able to receive it on time.This is very disappointing and I am going to dispute this charge as Party City is being very unreasonable. Complaint Store #363

Despite receiving two emails through their systems saying the balloon order was confirmed and then ready, I arrived at the store an hour AFTER it was said to be ready and the order had not even been started yet. Was still in the bag. Employees showed ZERO customer service basic skills to make me feel any better about this flub. And then wanted to charge me for a bag- $1.59. In front of a whole bunch of customers. Just NO CLUE. No clue. Party City Store, #363, located at 5601 Brodie Lane in Austin, Texas. General Manager "Mike." (512) 892-****.

Bad Customer Service ( Manager Jamie, Black Lady With Braids)

On Saturday Morning July 2, 2022 I Thretha Chance Called The Store To See About Getting 12 Pink Balloons and A Big Number 8 For The 12pm Balloon Releasing Of My Niece(20 Years Old In 2014)Whom Carolina Eye In Pinehurst Gave Too Much Anesthesia and Cause To Go On Life Support and Died. They Said I Had To Order Online or Come Into The Store. So I Got Dressed and Went To The Party City On 2065-4 Skibo Road, Fayetteville, NC 28314 9**-**0-6495. Well I Am Disabled and I Live Off Of Social Security Disability, Got To Have Double Knee Replacements, But I Try To Keep Pushing and Use Cart To Walk With Some. My 18 Year Old Autistic Son Whom Has Autism Was With Me!! I Go To Party City Often To Get My Balloons or Party Needs, They Are Normally Great, I Never Had A Problem. But This Particular Saturday Morning Was All Black Workers and Store Manager. I Am Not Racist Nor Do I Incite Racism. But I Will Call It Out!! For It Has Been Stated By One Of Our President s Of The United States That All Black's Are Lazy!! Which Is Not True, But You Have A Few That Are!! This Particular Morning I Walk In The Store, They Have Changed The Store So I Asked Where Are The Pink & Purple Balloons. They Told . Me The Aisle. I Get To Counter I See Pink and Purole Balloons That Look Better Than Mine, So I Asked If She Could Get For Me For I Am Disabled ( I Do Have A Handicap Plaq To Display In My Windshield North Carolina). She Said She Could Not Leave Her Register and That I Had To Get Myself. Mind You The Manager Jamie and Three Other Girls Over There Blowing Up Balloons, Didn't Move or Say Anything. They Kept Working I Told Cashier I Would Wait For Someone To Get, But She Ended Up Getting For Me. Then When I Got Ready To Leave, I Had Previously Ask For Bag To Be Put Over All My Balloons. She Stated I Needed To Pay $1.07 More, Why Didn't She Do That From The Start? So I Paid The $1.07 Already Spent About $58. Then I Asked For Assistance To Take To My Vehicle The Manager Jamie Mumbles You Been Mean Know You Want Help Taking Something Out!! I Was Not Mean, I Jyst Hate I Had To Ask For Good Customer Service , Instead Of Being Provided It Like Previous Times!! When She Said That, I Called Her Out, For Her Previous White Co Workers Always Helped and Treated Me With Respect, Why Was This Lazy Black Manager With Bad Customer Service Skills Not Giving or Respecting or Helping The Disabled. I Told Her, If I Was White She Would Have Treated Me Better. She Stated To The Girls To Get Me Out Her Store!! One Black Girl Came and Pushed The Cart, That I Was Using To Walk With, With My Pocket Book Out Instead Of Getting The Bag With The Balloons . So I Preceded To Try and Walj and Carry Balloons Without The Cart or My Walker. Then Finally Another Black Girl Came and Carried The Balloons For Me!! I Apologize If I Offended Anyone, But I Hate Asking For Goid Customer Service!! I Am Old Enough To Be Every Last One Of Those Employees Mother!! Where Is The Respect On Helping The Elderly or Disabled!! If I Am Spending My Social Security Check , They Need To Provide Good Service, I Didn't and Don't Mind Waiting!! I Don't or Didn't Expect To Jump In Front Of Anybody!! I Believe In Waiting My Turn. I Hate You Have To Ask or Press For Good Customer Service!! Where Are The Ultimate Providers. I Was Already Mourning My 20 Year Old Niece Loss. And I Just Lost My Only 22 Year Old Daughter In Fayetteville Last Year October 31st 2021 To Being Murdered ( Fayetteville NC 37th Homicide) Her 22 Year Old Boyfriend Shot and Killed Her. Her and My Niece Buried At The Same Cemetery!! Overall This Situation Should Have Been Handled Alot Better and Professionally. The Manager Dropped The Ball. Please Get Workers That Can and Don't Mind Helping Elderly or Disabled!!!
