Window needing replaced due to handprint in between glass.

I noticed that there is a handprint between the panes the day after install. And notified the office. They lost that replacement and ordered another, Then the truck was in an accident and new window destroyed, 18 months later, no replacement. When we call the office, we go to voice mail and calls are not returned, I will never recomend this businees to anyone!

Appointment

Don't waste your time! Scheduled an appointment, confirmed said appointment 2 days before the scheduled date and time. No show, No call. Tried to call several times the number I was provided. No answer, no way to leave message. I looked up the company and tried another number. I left a message, No return. I do not know why I was working so hard to get a hold of them as I wouldn't use them now anyway.

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED IN MY 66 YEARS OF LIFE.

Promised windows within 90 days. 13 months ago, then they offered me a discounted price if I had someone else install them? Plus when i hired a contractor to pick them up.. they didn't have them all??? WTFreak??? The project manager wanted to tell me "how much I'm losing on this job?" I'm like... I DIDN'T BREAK A CONTRACT WITH YOU, YOU DID WITH ME! Now not only can they not find my other two windows that I sent another contractor to pick up three and a half hours from my location, I had to pay my contractor for his waiting around for HOURS while they tried to find 2 of the 13 windows which were never found...now I am screwed and they are trying to blame ME for their business decisions and I still don't have a refund of my original deposit that I made 13 months ago and they refuse to ship me the missing windows because "we've already lost more money on this job than it's worth"... WHAT THE FREAK??? HOW DID I CAUSE THIS??? NEVER WOULD I EVER DOI BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE ,, NOT EVEN IF IT WAS THE LAS COMPANY ON THE PLANET!!D

No help in repairing a door they said would get in locking with time. No communications between customer and service

Paradise Home Improvements This is what I've posted to Paradise as well as the Better Business Bureau. DON'T bother with these people. They get their money and any problems are your problem, not theirs. Paradise- I'm finished with your lack of customer service. I've made over 10 calls to your company regarding a door that was installed by Paradise last Oct. It has a minor adjustment that needs to be made to the dead bolt. I was told when installed that it would be tight but would loosen up. It hasn't. I've called for about a month now with the promise of receiving a return call which never comes through. I was told yesterday that I would receive a call - none. I was told today that I would receive a call to schedule an appt. - none. I spent $27,000 with Paradise to have doors, windows and walk in shower installed. I'm 72 years old and on SS so this is a lot of money for me. Your people have proved to me that after the installations they no longer give a damn as to what happens. I've not even bothered to report that my shower has a clear caulking that only runs down 1/2 of the wall. Your company is worthless and I intend to make that known to everyone I can. I'm also calling an attorney to see what they have to say about this situation.

Gutter Guardian

Had Gutter Guardians installed 7/22/19. Received 1/4-inch rain the same day as Guardian covers installed. Gutters overflowed at valleys and dripped down the front of gutters which did not happen before Guardians installed. Curious to see what happens in larger rain event. Called to complain immediately, then on 8/1/19. No response. Called again on 8/12/19 to get response.

Lied about French door we agreed on with the salesman, Barry Porter

Two years back Mr. Barry Porter. salesman with Paradise Home Improvement met with Me and my wife in our home and demonstrated the windows we now had them to install. We, Williams and Mr. Barry Porter agreed to install a French door with white vinyl on the outside and wood grain on the inside with Brush nickel hardware and windows grades inside the two French door windows. The installers removed our old French door before looking at what kind of French door was delivered to our home earlier. After removing the old French door, the installers installed the new French door which I told the installer, Rodney, the French door was wrong and was a cheap French door from Lowes' Home Improvement. I told Rodney, this French door would have to be replaced with the French door my wife, me and the salesman, Barry Porter agreed during the demonstration of the windows. The 13 windows were installed with no problems however, To this date, 08-17-2018 we have not received the French door we agreed on. The French door leaks hot air in and cold air out. Light can be seen through the top of the French door. Very poor Business to have the production manager send 24 email and lie on all of the emails that I still have in my possession. We had to pay $17,040.00 for the 13 windows and French door which was financed through Time Investments Services. Best Regards. Don & Leigh Ann Williams.

So far not so good

I made a deposit for installation of 10 windows in early June. Ive been trying for the past week to get a straight answer on when my installation will take place. Two men told me they would call with an answer. Both have not returned the call. I've also been hung up on by their. forwarding system a couple of times and left messages. I guess my next call will be to better business bureau.

Poor Management Practices

I live in Gastonia, NC. I talked to a sales person that came around door to door. I consented to a in home quote. One of the owner/partners came out, we talked for about 2 hours. He gave me a quote & I was shocked at the price. (6 windows=$6800) The pitch was a 50 year warranty with labor included. Gave it some thought. I then was contacted by Jim Underwood. We talked about the process of everything from credit, window measuring & installation. He took 2 credit apps signed by me. I got a reply from one of the companies & the rate quoted was 3.5 times higher than Jim stated. The monthly payments would be $100 more than quoted p/m. Then a installed came the same day to measure the windows. I told him NOT to order anything until I talked to Jim for I had some concerns. I called the company, they would NOT guarantee the length of the promo rate nor honor that for the life of the loan as Jim quoted me. A few days later I got a call from CS about the window order. I told them that they were NOT to order anything until I talked with Jim. If they ordered the windows, it was on them & I would NOT be held responsible. Well, all of a sudden the Fort Mill Manager called me & said Jim would come by that day. He came by. I specifically told Jim the problem with the first company & he said not too worry, he would get me approved with another lender. I mentioned that the windows were not measured to the millimeter (for a air tight fit) & Jim just brushed off my comment. Jim assured me that he understood my concerns with the first company & I told him due to their response to my call I was going to CLOSE that account. He further acknowledged that the second company would approve me at 8% for the life of the loan. If that company did NOT approve me, then I could NOT proceed with the purchase of the windows & I would NOT have any further obligation. Jim verbally acknowledged my statement & he left to process the new credit app. I waited 10-12 days & checked my emails for the credit inquiry but never saw one. I concluded that I was disapproved. Then all of a sudden I get a phone call from Paradise stating they wanted to install the windows! I called the company the Jim was to process the credit app with & they had NO record of me applying for credit. So, I was lied to again by Jim as he NEVER processed the credit app. So, I sent a email to them & due to the lies, deception & the process to measure the windows was not done as stated, the lack of communication by any member of management (Jim had my email address) not even the General Manager did NOT call about the whole process, even if Jim could not call me, he had my number also. So, due to the UNDERSTANDING I had with Jim, I told them that I would not be responsible for accept the windows for my home ordered by them without the agreement I made with Jim. 10-12 days, no communication, they processed the order. So, DO NOT do business with these folks. I found another window company that makes the same type of windows for a lot less. Do you homework FIRST. Buyer BEWARE of Paradise Home Improvement! This took lace @6/18-7/3 2018

Buyer beware!!!

We contracted Paradise to remodel a bath by removing a garden tub and building a large shower. The selling process went fine. Things began to fall apart when halfway through the job the installer stated "Oh, we don't paint. Well they had just torn out a garden tub and built a 7' wall and had no intention of finishing that part of the job. All they wanted to do was finish the shower and walk away. I asked for the salesman to call me so we could work it out. That was 16 months ago. Haven't heard from him. The installer and the shop foreman worked things out with me. I forgave that situation (strike one). I actually called them for a window project. When I turned them down they began a process of calling repeatedly truing to get me to change my mind. I indicated that I would consider it if they put their offer in writing. They quit calling. In the last month they began calling as many as 3 times per day. My wife and I have both told them to quit calling. Apparently they don't understand english. I will go out of my way to tell people to stay away from them. I received a call today 6/15/2018 and told the gentleman to quit calling. I don't like to contact the BBB but that's next. They are borderline harrassment.

Horrible

The installation person told us that he had to move the shutters closer to the dbl hung window as it was to far away, when in all fact he moved them closer to hide the fact he did not use extra flange, tape or any insulation of any sorts and it hid the areas where he ha...

Original review May 10, 2017
The sales person lied about where the windows where coming from. The windows are not even installed properly, parts are not even attached to the house so they remain in place. I have had to tape pieces to the house just to get them to stay in place as best they would. The other installation materials that should have been used such as extra flange, tape, insulation around the windows and the foam insulation was never used. There is damage to my home due to the poor quality of product and poor quality installtion. I have put this in dispute several times with the Financial Institute, and Paradise Home Improvement has sent letter's on how they have tried to work with me and how I have always declined. Yet they fail to speak of how myself and the Grand Rapids contractor came to a verbal agreement and when the time came for things to be repaired and fixed by the Company, the Contractor or the Company decided to change what had been agreed upon and offered something completely different and when I informed the Contractor that, that was not the agreement we had came to months prior, he walked off the job. I am glad that I have kept all emails sent by myself to the Company and have kept all emails received by the Company and the letters that had been sent to the Bank. This Company was suppose to Improve the quality of my home, yet all it has done is make matters worse. I had sent Paradise Home Improvement a few options that I was willing to settle on, yet they declined each. They had sent me 3 options to choose from, none of which I felt was fair. As the Settlement and Release form they had sent in Nov 2016 was better then any of the 3 options. I had sent them a final email stating what I would settle for, which would pay off the Bank Loan and enough money to have a reputable company come in and do the nessesary repairs caused by the poor product and poor installtion, and have windows that would improve the quality of my home and I had also included in that same email that I would gladly sign a Settlement and Release contract that would release Paradise Home Improvement from any further obligation to my home upon acceptance of my offer, and as usual no response. In my opinion this company only follows its web page's " Promises, Guarantee's Warranties when they feel it is fit too.
