Haven't had Papa Murphys for few years drop moving away.

Soon as we walked in that smell was just like I remembered it. Our pizza was made and done I would say 5 minutes. Seems to have a good team. Friendly. Before we head back home we will be visiting again.

Bad Service!

The person in the store at Custer Pkwy in Richardson was slow, rude and did not apologize or offer a coupon for making us wait so long.

Pizza

Just got a pizza and its not great, we ordered a large chicago. They added extra dough but little toppings. So we ended up with an extra large dough ball. With like 5 pepperoni and a hanful of cheese. No other toppings inside the Chicago.

Uncalled for

On our most recent order, we submitted it 90 minutes ahead of time. By the time we got to the store it hadn't been made. No apology was offered as the worker ripped the order off the printer and started making the order. So the app order came through just fine. There were zero customers in the store aside from us. The worker wasn't making pizzas for other phone orders, or on the phone taking orders. Just moseyed out of the back room without a care in the world to make the pizza that should have been ready an hour earlier. Mistakes happen, but since she couldn't even bother to apologize for the inconvenience, then that is poor training and honestly, a little maddening as a customer.

Poor management, disgruntled workers and losing locations.

Been a customer of Papa Murphy's for more than 15 years. Have bought pizzas all over historical wine country in Northern California from Solano to Sonoma county. A district manager close our Windsor location, which was closest to my house. Had great staff but no manager. Have listened to the staff at the Sebastopol location complain about manager last two times there. Everybody's quitting. A Santa Rosa location on North College has the worst manager I have ever come across with such attitude and disrespectful towards customers, I will never go there again. I guess you're going to lose me as a customer completely. I think this is a very good model for pizza shops. Totally supported. Write up locations when I got great service, but we keep losing them. Something's not working in your business model.

Calzone dough

My husband and I love calzones. We ordered two from papa murphys tonight. The top of our calzones were brown and fully cooked. We took a bite of them and we both spit them out. The inside and the bottom were nothing but dough. I took videos of each calzone. If is absolutely money down the drain. We have loved Papa Murphys for so long, but are done ordering from them at this point!!

Select Rewards not applied

It seems every time I want to apply my Select Rewards, I am unable to. I am aware of the restrictions. However, I ordered a Specialty pizza yesterday (6/22/23) - not on special. I paid full price. When I went to apply my Cookie Dough reward, it said I was not eligible as this item was on special. It was a "specialty" pizza, Artichoke Bacon, and there was no "special" anything about the price. I could go on about what the pizza quality was, but that is not what this email is about. It is about your rewards program. I have never, in the two years that I have been part of this program, been able to use the Rewards.

Service Complaint, Manager and Staff

Loud, rude, hostile, disparaging staff and manager, in speech and demeanor. The manager even left the store after speculating with his two staff to ask a young lady outside, minding her own business, a personal question. The manager refused to give his name when he and his staff were called upon to take it down a few levels and verbally attacked me (I was the sole customer in store at the time), telling me to take my pizza and leave. I said I was finished with the conversation twice, but the manager continued his verbal tirade while the staff smirked, laughed, and slapped the countertop.

They can't keep up

6888 Centennial Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80919 Apparently ownership has changed hands and things have REALLY gone down hill. I have lived in this area for 14 years and ordered regularly from this location. I order online for a specific time and the last 3 times I have been in, it is not ready and it takes them 5 minutes to even find my order in the stack of receipts piled waiting to be made. This time, I ordered 4 HOURS before I wanted to pick it up. It was still in the pile. Told her to forget it and asked for a refund. We'll see whether it ever comes through.

Castle Rock (Founders Pkwy) Management Are Liars

Hello, I just had a terrible experience with the Papa Murphy's location at Castle Rock CO (62 Founders Pkwy STE F). I ordered a 5 Meat Stuffed pizza online, which I picked up and took home. Upon starting the baking process I noticed that it did not have any Ground Beef on top, as is shown in the picture and written as an ingredient on top on the website's menu. I called the location to ask if this was intended or if they had simply forgotten to add it. A male sounding employee (E1) picked up the phone. After explaining that my pizza was missing a topping (I incorrectly believed at the time that it was Bacon that was shown in the picture), he told me he needed to speak with his manager. He put me on hold for about a minute, and then returned. He stated that the manager he spoke with said they had put extra Bacon on the inside of my pizza. I recapped the situation to him that he had just stated was reality: he had been making my pizza, decided to put extra bacon on the inside part of my pizza, continued to make my pizza, adding the next layer for the stuffed pizza, and then decided that since he had already put extra Bacon on the inside, he didn't need to add Bacon to the top. He responded that my recap was correct. I stated that this scenario sounded ridiculous, and it was more likely that he was lying to me. I hung up shortly after. After hanging up, it still bothered me, so I called back to instead speak with the manager he had spoken with. E1 picked up again. I asked him to put me on the phone with the manger he had talked to about my issue. He said OK and put me on hold. The female sounding person who picked up described them self as the "Store Manager" (SM). I described everything that had happened so far and asked her if she was the one who had told the employee that my pizza had extra Bacon inside. She clarified for me at this point that Bacon did not go on top of the 5 Meat, but Ground Beef instead. She then said that she needed to talk to her employees and put me on hold. She came back a bit after and said that she had four employees and was getting four different stories. She then put me on with another manager, who apparently was the one overseeing the main store operations at the time. Another female sounding voice picked up and described herself as the Manager (M). I explained the whole situation again to her. She asked what I wanted to fix the situation, to which I replied that I didn't want money or free pizza, I wanted to know who was lying to me and why. M asked me to send her a picture of my pizza. I asked her if she didn't believe me, she said that she wanted a picture to show the employee where he messed up. She gave me what I believe was her personal cell phone number, and I sent her the picture she asked for. I asked M if she had been the one to tell E1 that there was extra Bacon in my pizza. She said she did not tell E1 that. After telling her that E1 had said he talked to a manager, I asked if there were more managers present. She said that E1 must have talked to the other employee (E2) that was making pizzas, and that E2 must have told E1 that there was extra Bacon in it. I asked to speak with E2, to which M responded that E2 was a minor and she may or may not want to talk with me. I asked M to ask E2, and M said that E2 was coming to the phone. After about 2 min, the familiar voice of E1 (not E2) picked up the phone gain. I asked E1 which manager had told him that there was extra Bacon in my pizza. He responded with an apology that he had forgotten to put the Ground Beef on top of my pizza. I reassured him that his mistake was fine, but that was not my issue at the moment. I asked again who had told him that there was extra Bacon in my pizza. He said it was the manger I had just spoken with, M. I asked him to put M back on the phone. M asked again what I wanted to make this right. I informed her again that I just wanted to know who lied to me and why. I asked her again if she was the one who had told E1 that there was extra Bacon in my pizza. She responded that no, it was not her. I told her that E1 literally just said you did. She then pivoted to explaining that there were actually two people who had made my pizza, and the other person (not E1) had messed up. I told her that E1 had just told me that he messed up. M responded that E1 was in charge of making the pizza, but didn't actually forget to put the meat on top. I again told M that this contradicted what E1 had just told me. I asked to speak with the minor E2, but M told me that it wasn't E2 that she was talking about. She said there were a lot of employees working and it was a third employee (E3) who had not put Ground Beef on my pizza. M also said that SM had left for the day and couldn't come to the phone. At this point I was too tired of calling out inconsistencies. I could have kept going, but it was clear that M would just make up another lie to cover for her previous lies. Rather than continue, I told M that she was a liar and there was no point in continuing. After some mild unpleasantries from me (I told her she was a terrible person and I hoped she had a terrible day), I hung up. I suspect that this is not the type of behavior you expect in your employees, let alone your management. Again, I would have been entirely fine if I had just been told upfront that they had forgotten to add the topping. I also would have been OK if M had admitted early on that she had been lying to me, or even that E1 had lied to me. But those decencies never came. Instead I was lied to repeatedly, with each lie sounding more and more ridiculous as the story fell apart. Early on and halfway through, M even attempted to bribe me out of continuing my investigation into her lies. This whole situation is incredibly unprofessional. M was clearly the main liar, but SM did not seem concerned that all of her employees were telling her different stories. Rather than deal with the situation herself and get to the bottom of the lack of integrity of her employees, SM passed me off to M and left (if we believe M on SM leaving). Not that it matters, but not only did my pizza not have the contentious extra Bacon, it didn't have any Bacon (other than the Canadian Bacon).

Extremely poor customer experience

Attn Papa Murphys management team: I had an extremely poor experience tonight at Papa Murphys in Florence Oregon that I need to make you aware of. Our experience at our home store is hit or miss which I understand with the employee shortage and current turnover rates, but tonight was egregious. I submitted a mobile order via your website to be picked up at your earliest time (1/2 hr). I arrived at your store approximately 45 min after submitting our order. Our order was not ready which I understand happens from time to time; no big deal. As I was sitting waiting for my order the restaurant phone was ringing off of the hook and one of the young men that was working said dont answer the phone, we are too busy..at this time all 3 male employees were on the phone with a female employee that had gone to the store to get them caffeine . I was in shock that their lobby was full of customers waiting for them to make their order, the phone was ringing off of the hook multiple times and there were 3 cars in the drive-thru. Not 1 of your employees were working on getting pizzas out. All 3 were wrapped up in getting their Dutch bros order correct. After they hung up with the female employee they stood around talking about how employee A owes employee B for this coffee order because employee B bought last time. I couldnt believe it. After they finally went back to work one employee would start making a pizza and then walk away 1/2 way through to go back into the cooler. Each time they would walk out of the cooler with nothing in their hands. It was extremely odd. One of the employees took over making my pizza after touching the phone and cash without changing out his gloves. After all of this (waited in the lobby for 30 minutes) they brought me out the wrong pizzas. We ordered family size and they brought out small pizzas. I told him that the pizza was incorrect and he looked at me like I had 3 heads. He didnt believe me so he went back and checked my order , cussed under his breath and started to remake my pizza. In the meantime he stopped what he was doing and went back into the cooler twice, coming out with nothing in his hands. After this he went to stand by the drive through window talking to the female employee who had left to get caffeine. Normally I would let this go and chalk it up to young employees still learning how to work and be responsible but this was beyond comprehension. I truly hope that this information is used to better your operations because this was absolutely unacceptable. Thank you, Robin Miller

Forced Tipping

Why did you start adding a "forced tipping" (Unless I forget to chose - other), it goes directly to a 15% tip. I will be very direct; I am not engaging in a sit down restaurant with wait staff - why is there a tip option even in place? I'm tired of seeing this more often when I go online - that is what I mean by forced tipping, unless you forget to change it, it goes automatically to a tip percentage. I'm thinking seriously to taking my business elsewhere because I do not believe it is acceptable to put tip options for simply doing your assigned task! I don't tip at the grocery store, Wendy's (Dozens of examples). We love Papa Murphy's but directly expecting me to remember to pick "other" option is a scam! If, you want a tip jar for just showing up to work, put it on the counter! Take it off your site, and stop asking your customers to "augment" salary's - most humans are sick of corporate greed!
