For my ticket

Eventually paid the remaining balance for my ticket's on Friday 28th July. Today is 31st July, yet I'm still without my ticket's Purchased 2 return ticket's to Pakistan, wouldn't be so bad but 1 is my mother's I've called and emailed but nothing, the person I've been in contact (as and when he's felt like replying/responding) is Jeff {{Redacted}}. When I initially booked in May he was amazing, however now all I've been doing is chasing him. Very very disgusted and disappointed Just NEED our ticket's, fly our 31/10/23

Fraudulent withholding of refund

Apalling customer service that borders on fraudulent. I have been attempting to get a refund for a flight that I booked through Opodo which was cancelled due to poor weather on the 16th April 2023. I am getting nowhere and they have consistently stalled, lied and refused to forward me a valid refund. I have been told in turn; they are waiting for the airline to agree the refund, that they would refund £23 on a flight that cost £245, that the flight was not cancelled and simply delayed by 5 minutes and finally that we were actually a no-show. Do your research - do not use Opodo

Scammers

Not happy with service. Kept calling me a lier and refused to help me. All I want is my refund, which the company is liable for as I received NO contact from them to inform me of flight changes. They lie to say they contacted me on my BIRTHDAY March 31st but this is NOT true. No contact was made and NO Email received. I am very upset with this company as they left me stranded in Kathmandu, Nepal. I then had to pay another company to get home. I will never book with Opodo again. It even still says that the flight is leaving at 20:20hrs but it left at 18:00hrs! Proof in picture. Would NOT recommend using this company as they will take your money and mess you around just like they did to me and many others. 4 times they changed my flight to Nepal and not once did they tell me about the flight changes for my return flight. All they say is not liable for a refund as part of airline policy. They won't help you. Don't book with these people.

Booked flights, didn't get a confirmation email

AVOID OPODO AT ALL COST! Searched for a flight through Skyscanner, got directed to Opodo to book my flights. I paid 320 euro. The money is gone and I did not get a confirmation email or any information about my booking. It is completely impossible to get in touch with the company without a booking reference number, which I obviously didn't get. My bank can't do anything about it. I had to book the tickets again via another site. So I have paid the double amount now and after reading all the other reviews I have realized that the money is probably gone forever. I will do a police report, which everyone knows won't help at all.

I am chasing my refund

I have requested a refund of my booking # 851140**** more than a 20 months ago. The request has been processed and approved by the airline company but I am yet to receive the refund of EUR 500.68. All attempts to speak to anyone at Opodo have failed, either by phone, either by email. No one is taking care of my case. Honestly, I feel Opodo is a scam which should be exposed.

I did my tickets on opposite to Mumbai and they said that they are still processing our tickets and they took my money we were waiting more than 20 hours and our money was like till 636.14 dollar and this app is a scam I cant believe what this app does to us we went to air Arabia and told them they said the tickets still air arabia didnt recieve our tickets

They mock people shamelessly

The Opodo agency turned out to be the same eDreams agency I complained about, unfortunately I didn't know that, otherwise I wouldn't have bought a ticket from that agency.I bought a ticket, which was sent to me by email from Opodo The flight is with two different airlines, with a stopover. I decided to cancel the ticket. Opodo canceled the flight ticket of only one airline. They say they cannot find the details of the second flight. I emailed them the ticket issued to me by Opodo. It is a singe ticket and has the details for both flights. Now they claim they didn't receive the email. They have been bothering me for a week and worst of all they are making a mockery of my request. The service and behavior of Opodo travel agency is unacceptable. They shamelessly mock people. It is not clear who is allowing them to do this. Is there a governing body that oversees them and can penalize them for unfair and unacceptable business practices?

We dus nor recieven our boarding passes

Wij hebben op 25 april 2023 via uw organisatie een vlucht geboekt van Amsterdam Schiphol naar Kopenhagen Kastrup, heen op 2 juni 23 om 07.00 uur en terug op 4 juni 23 om 21.30 uur. Die vlucht is ook door ons op 25 april direct per bank betaald ( 464,92) en door u ook keurig direct bevestigd met de woorden Jacobus, je boeking is succesvol afgerond. Met vermelding van het Opodo- reserveringsnummer: 116********. Maar toen we op 2 juni om 5 uur s morgens bij de incheckbalie van Schiphol stonden, bleek dat onze reservering niet door u is doorgegeven. En wij niet op de passagierslijst stonden!!! Wat een grote teleurstelling!! Wij hebben direct, maar tevergeefs, vroeg gebeld met Opodo. Geen contact alleen n antwoordapparaat! Ten einde raad hebben wij ter plekke op Schiphol nieuwe, en ook veel duurdere, tickets moeten boeken en betalen én de hele dag tot 16.00 uur dus uren op Schiphol moeten wachten voor de volgende vlucht naar Kopenhagen. Geen leuke ervaring! Oplossing: Wij willen in ieder geval ons bedrag van 464,92 van u retour ontvangen. Banknummer: NL29 ABNA 0830 84** **, ten gunste van J. Roet En mogelijk *** u een compensatie bedenken voor de schrik en de ontstane zeer vervelende situatie. Tot op heden hadden wij altijd goede ervaringen met Opodo. Opodo scam

OPODO...Do not book through this OPODO...Do not book through this operator..Have booked for myself and my teenager daughter for may 2023..Booked through opodo which was sold to me as a very nice mobile home only to find when i questioned the accomodation with tres estrellas this is not the case..The accomodation actually resembles a tent with no amenities . Contacted opodo to point out to them that this accomadation was not the accomodation sold to me and that this would be of no use due to my daughters anxiety levels and not being able to share communal showers and if needing to use the toilet at night would be an absolute no no for her as she would not cope with the though of having to do this..Made this very clear to opodo that this accomodation will not suffice due to her anxiety and their response was THERE IS NOTHING WE CAN DO AND WE ARE NOT ISSUING A REFUND. This is the first time in my life i am dreading going on holiday and it was supposed to be a special time as am taking my daughter to her first festival to see her favourite artist and being a sole parent i have saved hard for this. Not only have opodo charged quite substantially for this holiday but have crushed my daughters dream because she has been waiting for this for so long but i know she will not cope with the accomodation and will be a nightmare from *** for her..Opodo you are disgusting for shattering a lttle girls dreams and i really hope people steer clear of booking any form of travel with you !!!... So a little investigation into my package holiday...Paid £1300 through opodo for what seemed like a nice lodge...the accomodation allocated is a tent which i found out they had booked through booking.com so out of curiousity i thought i would see the price of the accomodation they had booked opposed to the accomodation i should have got...i was disgusted..The accomodation they have allocated me was not even £200 for the duration of my stay , so to scam money they have sold the holiday accomodation as a lodge and allocated a tent thus pocketing quite a substantial amount of money. I can also see on the reviews on trip advisor that they have also done exactly the same to the family prior to my review ,they booked a caravan and was given a tent. So more phone calls to opodo and nothing..I am starting a claims process under section 57 with my bank and will be taking opodo to the small claims court as this is just purely scamming people out of money. Most people will just let this lie but i will not , If opodo have done this to 2 families how many others have they done this to. I will absolutely bombard every social media platform , every day with my story , every review platform where opodos name lies until my case is resolved. Tuesday morning I will instruct my solicitor to start investigations into my case and going by other peoples reviews on trip advisor and trust pilot this looks to be a tactic used by opodo on many occasions to con people out money. My next port of call is the press as this scam needs to be exposed because not just has it taken peoples hard earned money but also all the stress that goes with it because of their greed. I will expose this company for what they are and make a statement that this is not good practice. And thankyou opodo for making my little girl cry because you have absolutely shattered her holiday and the festival for her all for the sake of filling the CEOs pocket. Greed is a poisonous thing and I really do hope every single person that reads this review never uses opodo and shares with their friends to put the word out there that you are just full of pure greed and will do anything to make the company profits even if it means to break a childs heart !!!.
