No one to answer the phones about oneblood rewards

I did a blood donation in Jacksonville Florida at the centurion parkway location on August 11 or August 18. The next day I claimed the $29 oneblood reward. For the better part of the last 2 years I have been a participant in the extra blood donation contest that goes along with the regular blood donation. Last month I got $10 in addition to the $20 for the donation. These gift cards come to me in my email usually the Monday or Tuesday after my blood donation. Poor Service

I set an appointment: Whole Blood 07/20/2023 1:15 pm FLEET Readiness Center - Hangar 1000 FRCSE Level II Site Jax Hangar 1000, Yorktown Ave Bloodmobile MU16 NAS Jacksonville, FL 32212. I arrived for my scheduled appointment at One Blood Bus MU16 and was met with the most rude and unprofessional people that you could have thought of hiring! All (3) Phlebotomist had such a nonchalant attitude and could care less about being there? They had no care for the donors time or concerns! I told them that I had an appointment and to check it and no seemed to care. " JASMINE" was the worst of the (3)! I asked what was going on and was told to wait 1 hour, huh what was the reason for setting an appointment no to mention i walked over in 98 degrees temperature! I spoke with your ONE BLOOD Rep. Willie Cherry and expressed my frustrations! I will be reporting this further a will be advising my friends and co-workers through Facebook and YOUTUBE of this horrible events so they too will not be a victim and to donate to an Organization that will be more appreciative and value donors

Disappointed you don't give the reward when you give blood. Should be instantmatic.

I don't have my rewards, and I already gave blood. Misleading when you need funds right away. I guess that's would be a deterant knowing the wait time that's why you don't disclose it.

Consistently poor customer service

One blood has horrid customer service. They did (and have never) welcomed me on the Big Red Bus as I step in and they never have thanked me as I leave after having donated blood. In fact 3 of the 4 times Ive donated, Ive been rudely treated. This time the phlebotomist had the tourniquet way too tight. I asked her to loosen it bc it was so uncomfortable. She did not respond. It wasnt until I said it the 3rd time that she responded with it has to be that tight. After about 3 minutes it was still so unusually uncomfortable that I sat up. She told me I could not sit up. Then another person came over and asked what was wrong. I said its uncomfortable. She immediately looked at the tourniquet and loosened it. It felt so much better then. I told her id shared with the other person it was too tight and she told me it had to stay where it was. Absolutely no response from person 2. No one offered me snacks or water as I left (or said thank you). Never again One Blood. Im a LifeSouth person now. Canceling my platlet appointment with One Blood for the future. Shame on you, BloodOne. Train you people better! We st least deserve a thank you.

Complaint

Your managment team and team leaders here in the ocala and Gainesville centers need to be investigated for racism and favoritism. They fired 2 of your best workers over lies and jealously without even talking to them to ser if it was yrue or their side of story. They have been targets since they started, i can not support a company like that and i cant believe you allow your managment and team leaders abuse your workers. one of your team leaders threw a shoe at one of the ones that got fired realky thats how you run things? How is it a fair investigation if they are only taking one side and it is all lies, from the jealous and lazy workers? These 2 got nothing but praise and compliments from their donors. These are the kind of people donors want when they are geting poked. I will not donate again to your company and i will spread the word to e eryone on just how bad its ran the abuse the employees get and corporate doest even care how bad they are treated. After this im going to contact better business bureau and the labor board since some of these shifts were over 12 hrs, how there is no compensation for those who have to drive over and hour and then work more than 10 hours sometimes. Either way if you dont investigate your managment and team leaders, i hope those 2 fired workers get lawyers for wrongful termination, mental abuse, i saw with my own eyes when i donated.

Oneblood always screws up the reward. Every time. Not just once in a while.

Their system always makes it difficult to get your reward. Every time. They cant fix a wrong email period. So I just made a wrong one to match. That worked. Now this time it says it was sent but it never arrives under any of my gmails. And no one is ever there to ask a question. That office never answers the phone. You have to leave a message. They never bother to call you back. Dont give blood there.

20 gallon reward

On or about Nov 30th, surpassed the required 20 gallon requirement and as of today I have heard nothing about which color I desired as part of this reward. Do I need to call and inquire about this problem? Sincerely Edward J McDonald 421-501-****

Poor service

Lake Henry Estates 12-20-22 approx 11:15 am to 11:55am. I was totally disrespected by the (as she told me) the Team Leader. She accused me of being rude (if front of two other residents) not in a private room but between where people sit while waiting their turn. She said I yelled at her. Flat out lie! When I responded to her 30-40 second tirade, I stated I didnt yell at anyone. I am just here to donate blood. She left and came back about 10 minutes later. She asked are you ready to give blood? I said yes. She said are you having a bad day I said no, I just want to get this over with. She than said you threatened me. You can leave. From the second I walked in the bus, this lady was condescending and clearly not happy that someone showed up without an appointment. She stated lies and carried on a soapbox lecture in front of people who live in my community. She did not have a name tag on. She had blue scrub pants and a floral shirt. Black. About 57 and approx 180 pounds. She also encouraged her co-worker to ignore me. I have been an RN since 1984 and have never seen a health care provider behave the way she did. She needs to be removed from any job involving contact with the public. I did leave without saying anything after she stated she was not going to draw my blood and I can leave. Please feel free to reach out to my community members who were sitting within two feet of her when she made her statements. She accused me of yelling at her. Total lie!
