Not happy

I have purchased Omnishield products totaling 6500.00. I tried to cancel not even 24 hours after, actually I called the representative that same evening and the next day, Was pushed off to the manager which didn't answer the phone. The guy came to install the products and I asked again and was told that I only had 2 days to get a refund. Next day was Sunday so of course nobody was going to help me. By Monday morning I again was told it's past the 2 day limit for a refund. I'm so disappointed in this whole situation and it sure is NOT a way to do business. It should be required to at least have 24-48 hours to consider the sale. Nobody has ever called back to see how I like the equipment or if I was satisfied. How sad!!!

Had a visit!

Same deal as most of the others above. Facebook, free kit. Git the call about them dropping it off at 6:30pm. We states, "we have early get ups with young children, so we have limited time. 3 hours later the sales rep is telling me to go ahead and make a plate. At that point, the tables turn! Do not buy and do go for the free kit. I'd rather buy a kit and have my 3 hours back. The video of the mother who lost her family is absolutely horrifying. To put those thoughts into someone's kids head, or anyone's head for the most part is horrifying. Buy your own kit and kit the horror show!!!

Not happy at all

Won a free car safety kit. We had the system installed and then within the 10 days we said that we did not want it anymore. We cancelled with in the 10 day day 8 actually. The sales man told us that he had stopped the order and that they would pick it up. Well they did not pick it up and took the payments anyway. They will not answer my questions and was told we do not take anything back after 10 day. We cancelled within the 10 days. we don't use the product and don't want it. TAKE IT BACK this company is a rip off.

Product does not work

There was a fire in a room of my house at the end of March 2023, in an electrical outlet directly under the detector unit and the detector did not detect the fire. I reported it to the company and I was stone walled. I want my money back because I do not have any confidence in the product. I does not work!

A total scam

Put name in at a bazaar to win car safety kit. Recd call I won and agent to deliver. Turned out big sales talk/presentation before I was given the kit. When I received call from office to set up time lady told me agent would also give me stickers for windows and info about fire safety BULLYING passive aggressive tactics throughout presentation and when I asked him to turn off video of crying mother who lost children in their fire he felt I should have watched it all ..when I would not commit he pushed to come back to do a presentation for my son who owns home DONT be fooled by this company. Shame on you for trying to push folks

Saved our property

This product is reliable. The sales person I had was professional and had great manners and was extremely helpful. I was alerted to a water issue which saved our 5k furnace and a fire on my stove when I forgot about some food. The information they gave taught me a lot about home safety and reminded me you can never be too prepared.

Angry reviews are misleading

seems like a lot of angry people here but my experience was complete opposite. the information on fire safety tips was free. the facts are not even theres, its from insurance companies and the national fire protection association. you can look up the facts they shared on google. actually some of the facts about smoke alarms are even worst than what they showed. i take it people are angry about the price but in the long run it will cost you less for omnishield than any system out there because omnishield is a one time price that can be spread monthly compared to a monitored system that you pay forever. omnishield protects for life so over the course of 20 years what you pay is peanuts.

Exposing family 's picture on social media

I was prepared for a one-hour free presentation for children about fire safety. It's ending up in selling products, trying to convince on 5 years of credit during a 3 hours presentation. The worst part for me, it is when the representant publish my family picture on Facebook without my knowledge. Be aware of it set up a limited time with them in advance, ask them to give you a day to think about advertising for them on social media or to process all the information.

I feel I was scammed

I was phoned and told they would like to drop off a safety kit because I had done a survey. I agreed, after asking a bunch of questions, about it not being a selling scam, that it would only take 15 minutes to explain about the kit they were dropping off. They also asked if I had a husband, which I was not happy with, they assured me it was for the safety of their person dropping off my safety kit. The person came, and started a 2 hour fear mongering demonstration. I had told the people on the phone, I did not want this, assured me it was nothing like this, only to educated people on fire safety. Needless to say, I did not buy their life saving system at thousands of dollars. I must obviously not have the safety of my family in mind!! I better sleep with one eye open! The fellow who came was genuine, but the people setting it up, were scam artists. I let them know at the end of it in which he had to call in. They just were as smooth as silk about the whole thing!

Inform others

My husband signed up for a "free" med kit and these people called and said they would drop it off at 4pm on Saturday. What they DIDNT tell us was that this med kit came at a cost of a 3 hour sales pitch in my living room. It was a Kirby vacuum situation. If they were upfront obviously I wouldn't have done this. The system is around $4000 which is outrageous. So after working all day I spent 3 hours listening to this sales pitch for nothing. They need to shorten this by 2.5 hours. What a waste of my time and the employee time.

Trapped

I like their products but I am moving, they have no one near me but you are forced to still keep their products and hope you have no issues. Any company that relys on customers and claim to have only good intentions with their customers. Then they shod be able to also allow you to cancel if you feel uncomfortable keeping the products when they are nowhere near you. They only want your money . It isn't about you or your safety.
