Refund

I really enjoyed using omio but it is been nearly two months i keep contacting them regarding my refund everytime i have to narrate my case to a different officer the website is really poor and nothing is made easy to ask for refund even though my train got cancelled due to bad weather I still have to tell them everytime i contact them and they kept telling me they have not received any reply from travel company.

Unexpected Response

Initially, there was an automatic error booking in our fare class, and I did not find the customer service number anywhere to directly call. Only through this website was I successful. Upon calling them, the representative was immediately responsive, resolved my issue, and even called back when the call dropped and accidentally got disconnected. I was highly impressed and surprised by their follow-up email to confirm our confirmation. I would recommend using this service to book trains again. Thank you.

Awful customer service

Omio is great when everything goes well with your trip. They usually have reasonable prices, and the website is easy enough to use. However, pray that you won't need their customer service. Firstly, because it takes a long time to get a reply! And when you do, it's not sufficient. My case was that I had a cancellation due to a strike in Portugal, and I wasn't told in advance - we got to know about it on the platform, 10 minutes before the train's departure. All fair, Omio couldn't have foreseen that either. Since we're not Comboio's clients, they couldn't help us, so we bought a new ticket at the counter and immediately messaged Omio for a refund. It's been more than a month and nothing. They say that they need to contact Combois, but I'm not Comboios' client, as I was told when I had to pay for a new ticket, I'm Omio's. They should reimburse me and pressure Comboios to reimburse them. It's a lack of organization and professionalism you don't get with other companies, so think well before going only for the cheapest price. It's better to book your tickets directly with the company, without Omio's as an intermediate, since it only complicates things in the end.

This business was terrible, I would not recommend using them. I tried to book at trip through them from Barcelona to Costa Brava esp Cadaques. Their mobile website was not user friendly. When I booked the trip, it stated that it did not go directly to Costa Brava but gave another destination that they said was the closest. What they failed to reveal was that this location was not close to Costa Brava at all and there was no other transportation available to get us to Costa Brava once we arrived at the location the website suggested. Since the website suggested that this was the closest location, I booked it for the next day and subsequently realized (after talking to a friend back home) we could not get to Costa Brava easily by this closest location Omio suggested. Once I realized this, I called the number on their website (which was listed as a cell phone number) and it was a non working #. I also emailed them immediately to ask for a full refund (since I needed to cancel the trip since it would not get us to our desired destination) and not pay a $30% admin fee since their website was not clear and I had just booked it 1 hour prior. I did not get a response to my email until I was home from my trip which was 2 days later. I explained the situation and they refused to give me a full refund and deducted 30%. They did offer a voucher for future use but that did me no good since I had already left Spain. I thought their customer service in handling this issue was terrible! They were unavailable to answer questions timely, their website suggested a location that was not even close or feasible to transport from to the location I did a search on and they refused to give me a full refund. You are much better off doing a google search of where you want to go and finding the best local transportation via the metro, bus or taxi or just asking locals. Don't bother with this company!

Customer service

BI had an error with my online purchase. I accidentally purchased the tickets for my family ($1000 for 6 tickets) in the opposite direction online. I realized it right after I purchased the ticket. I didnt want a refund I just wanted to switch the ticket for the opposite direction. It was an honest mistake the. Company refuses to help me. It was an honest online mistake but I got no support or help. So angry and disappointed. Beware

Exchange policy horrible

I purchased my ticket online and made an honest mistake. I accidentally bought the ticket for my entire family (over 1000 dollars) in the wrong direction from London to Brussels instead of the other direction. I realized this right after I purchased the tickets and called right away to ask to just switch the ticket in the opposite direction. And they would not do it. I also tried to go directly to the train company who said I had to work with this company. There was no way of escalating the issue they just said their system would not allow the change. I didnt want a refund I just wanted to change the direction because it was an honest mistake. I am so upset and there is no one who can help me. Beware.

Ticket double charge

Hello. I got double charge for a flight I set for Paris. I set a payment of $426.81. I was charged 286.45 for a flight I did not board. I would like to receive this payment back fast as possibly that is all. I looked at flights on the 11th, but did not pay for the flight on that day.

Request refund

This is a return ticket from London to paris and back ,the details are in the attached ticket below Going ; London to paris Almost hours delays, Instead of getting there at 7.15 as tye ticket shows we got in at almost 10 am Coming back ; is worst because monst of the people are working Monday morning in London So there is delays at paris bercy Station witch has less communication about is to passengers, we were paniking where is hour the coach The worst part is the driver miss the ferry means so we have to wait 2 hours more at the border , Witch mes we will get in to London Victoria like 4 Hours late , Most of peoples in the coach has work in the morning My self I choose this ticket to get thre a 6 am that's way I choose it to start work at 8 am But the hall journey was mess Is the first time I use prime bus and I'm.not happy with the service ( first impression)

Changing or canceling tickets is impossible.

My assistant bought train tickets for the wrong day so I had to purchase 1st class tickets on the IRYO to get to Madrid. I tried all day to cancel the wrong tickets but the app and website kept crashing. I tried the only phone number but it clicks dead before even ringing.

Impossible to cancel tickets once purchased despite what they claim...

My assistant bought train tickets for the wrong day so I had to purchase 1st class tickets on the IRYO to get to Madrid. I tried all day to cancel the tickets for the incorrect days but their app and website kept crashing. I tried the only phone number I could find but it clicks dead before even ringing. If you want to purchase tickets from them, be really sure they are what you want and that they are for the right day. There is zero customer service to help you if you need it.

Got my request fixed

I wanted to change the departure time of my train. Train was leaving the next day and e-mail communication was a bit weird (felt like a bot). However, once i called they responded quickly and fixed my request within approx. 2 hours. With that in mind, i am satisfied and happy to have found their number here on pissedconsumer.

Change ticket time omio

My husband and I have called your center to support us change the timing of the train, we have been informed that it is not possible! Not even for a price difference ! we missed our train because the staff member didnt reach the end of the waiting line when calling for any passengera to Barcelona, we were in the line waiting 15 minutes before the departure. We request refund of the two new tickets we bought, this experience was very frustrating, we hope there is a compensation for the amount we had to pay twice for a fault that is not ours!
