Pissed off customer after 20 years

Manager hiding in bathroom, soup salad came after dinner portions was smaller than Ive ever seen when I approached a man in on my way out. I asked to speak to the manager they didnt know where he was. I went to the bathroom and there he was I said sure are you paying attention and he got hostile witness and Im paying attention. Im an older gentleman I got a little nervous, but I also explained to him that my soup came after dinner and come in here for 20 years wont be back

I was extremely satisfied with our server. The service was provided by liz in Santa Rosa. She was very friendly and perfect.

Compaint

Im calling about either the general manager for the Olive Garden in Vineland New Jersey. I am the parent of a 16-year-old girl that was told twice to come to that restaurant for a job and twice she got shot there. They told me she called there specifically today so she wasnt embarrassed like she was the last time when she went for the interview when they told her she was hiring and goes into the restaurant for them to say were not hiring again is not right. I am the parent and I am very upset about that. Could someone please get back to me 609-402-**** thank you very much

I had a terrible experience

I went into the restaurant in your Oakley station location on 07/24/23 it was between 6:50 7 oclock. I went and told him I needed a table for 2 and there was no one else in the waiting area. I also told the Nam that took my reservation I was going to the restroom that I will be right back, He told me ok and by the time I return from the restaurant my table had been given away, and I was told I had to wait several minutes before the next available table.

Not a good working environment

My minor daughter worked there for about 2 and a half weeks.She told me that they treated her badly, managers and employees.One of the managers name was Amanda and Cj was one of the employees.She called me on a Saturday about two weeks ago and was crying saying that Cj was bothering her again she was just gonna quit.I told her just wait a minute let me call and see what's going on before you quit. I calls into the store and asked for Amanda the manager she finally gets to the phone and I try to explain to her what my daughter was telling me.She says well she didn't tell me about it and she would see what's going on. Well my daughter calls back crying still and said Amanda said if your gonna walk off your shift then you can just wait outside on the benches for your parents now this is between 8-9 at night. By her being a minor I think that the manager should off letting her sit on the inside and wait and by my daughter also being a female. My daughter has seen opened bottles of alcohol opened on the desk as well. How many hours do minors suppose to work a day? I thought 4-5 hours but some days she was working 6 and a half.I understand my daughter might be a minor and some of the employees might have been there for a long time but this is not cool.So my daughter quit because of this this!

Had to throw dinner out

I ordered the Tour of Italy. The chicken parmesan had a very gross texture that didn't feel normal and I couldn't eat. The pasta's weren't too bad in taste but were so salty I was unable to eat and had to throw it away. The lettuce on the salad was rusty on the edges and looked old. I placed an online order to pick up for convenience and never had issues with my past experiences. I don't have any desire to crave Olive Garden again. If for any reason I choose to ever order again it will be sitting inside the restaurant. I could not trust to have a meal from an order online and picking up to be worth spending that kind of money. Maybe there has been a change in management at this location, I don't know, but it has ruined my desire for Olive Garden.

Unhappy customer

My wife and I decided to go to dinner on Friday night we went to the Olive garden in Yuma Arizona we were dressed appropriately we walked in and we're greeted by the greeters and so there was just two of us she took us through the main dining room which only had a few people down this aisle way of Boths tables and there was a lot of empties along the way she took us to the back room we were the only ones in this big room and seated this at one of those jumpseat table The table had a big black screen on the end of it left a snow room we ordered got our dinner it was okay but there was no room for anything but the water and the two plates The salad and breadstick bull had to leave because there was no room for the dinner place was very unsatisfied with the way we were treated it's not like we just got off work and went in with our work clothes and we both were dressed very appropriately Which this just confirms my first experience with you folks in Washington State we had terrible service and that's where I would never go back now many years later we thought we would try it still the same sorry it had to be that way Yes I could have complained but when you spend almost $100 for two meals why should you have to complain

Poor Service

Two people went to Olive Garden at 3094 Helmsdale Place Lexington KY 40509 3:00 PM The restaurant was not busy - waited for 20 minutes to get a table - Then the servers could not decide whether they were responsible for our table. Waited another 20 minutes for a server to ask for our drink order. Then waited 20 minutes to order our food. Then waited 20 minutes for food to arrive. Then waited 20 minutes to get our check to pay. We wasted 2 hours in the restaurant to eat at 3:00 PM EDT. The server never came back to check on drink refills. Other customers we were sitting around were having the same issue

Complaint

Today I brought my wife to the Olive Garden location in Lafayette Indiana for our 4th year anniversary. We came in around 4:20pm . We sat down ordered drinks, salad, soup, & bread sticks. We waited almost 40mins. For our food and it still has not come out. Finally my wife said she no Longer wanted to stay and that our anniversary was ruined. We are actually regulars at this particular Olive Garden, so thats what really got me upset, out of all the times weve visited , this visit on our anniversary had to be the one that got ruined. So after the almost 40 min wait . The food still wasnt brought out . This was very disappointing because I planned to take her to her favorite restaurant on our anniversary & it turned out to be a horrible experience. I hope that this does not get overlooked because as I stated we are regulars at this location. I just feel that the young teenagers they have working there should take theyre job serious because as a regular customer this visit should have been one of the best ones especially on this special day for my wife and I. I hope this message gets reviewed because I am keeping my receipt. Thank you!

Horrible practices for sauces for family size orders

I ordered family size PANS of Chicken & shrimp carbonaro = $65.79, Lasagna = $46.99 and Spaghetti with meat sauce & meatballs = $52.99. I asked how much extra sauce I could get with each dish. I normally get 2 containers of extra sauce with regular orders, I was expecting to get 2 sauces for each portion size of each dish. WRONG!! I spoke with the manager for conformation that I could NOT get ANY sauce!! Not even the 2 you get with small orders!! My subtotal was $165.77 yet I couldn't even get the 2 small containers of sauce per PAN! Certainly not the 2 per portion size (the chicken & shrimp carbonaro is 4 or 6 portion!!) The Manager told me that I could get the 2 side sauces per order IF I order 4 or 6 regular dinner plates!! But ZERO with the FAMILY SIZE PAN for $65.79!! I reduced my order to ONE Dish!! My original total would have been $179.03 instead it's now $71.05. I was told that it is standard practice to NOT provide any complimentary sauces for any FAMILY PAN SIZE ORDERS! He said I could buy 3 pints of sauce instead, but I won't even get 2 small containers on a $71.00 order!! But I would get 2 if I ORDERED ONE regular dinner plate for $21.00!!! Chick FIL a just SHUT down their 1ST store in their 50+ years, Red Lobster has closed several locations. This Albany, GA Olive Garden location is going to be extremely PROFITABLE (NOT!!!) if they continue to lose $102 on ONE order because of STANDARD practice!! UPDATE: just picked up the order...you don't get any breadsticks EITHER! You get 4 with a regular order but ZERO with a FAMILY PAN SIZE ORDER! $71.00...no extra sauce...no breadsticks...no mints!! RUN FOREST RUN...

Carlsbad manager just would take the e-gift

Olive gardens corporation sent me a compensated e-gift card and we order and waited and the manager did not except and had me waiting for something she could of fix but instead aired my time late to an appt. And would not except I will never never go to Carlsbad for an enjoyable meal only to be inconvenience with another problem

Lack of customer concerns

Upon visiting the Olive Garden location in Estero, FL 33928 Our service went from 3+ employees watching an elderly man hanging onto presumably his daughter leave the store without helping them with doors, so I assisted. We had to wait for bread sticks while almost finished our salad was served them, while others getting theirs. We both ordered Flavored Ice Tea's at a charge of $4.29 each, they had no flavor but had color, the weakest tea I've ever had in my 63 years of life; ask for refill to be made stronger, and it was worse than the first glass. Furthermore, we paid our bill at the table using payment system and the receipt paper was in backwards because it was all blank with what printed. Asked Casey if manager? He said yes, I explained the tea, and asked for a copy of the receipt. Also said it would be good if he would ask guest while seated how their meals/service was, he blatantly said he has a customer service experience person working; with that being said I was to accept the fact that I paid for colored Ice water. We've been to this location several times in the past as we live nearby and so does our family whom we've even had parties of 12 dine at this location. With meeting the General Manager Casey, who was proud to have severed Ice Water for $4.29 each, we won't visit Olive Garden on future dinning's.

Bad experience

My dad and I went to lunch at Olive Garden on 4/13/23. We ordered Zuppa Toscana and salad. When the soup arrived, I noticed it was a darker color than normal and did not taste good like normal. I asked for the Manager. When I told her she responded with "I beg to differ. I had some of the soup and it was the best Zuppa Toscana I have ever had". I asked for a bowl from another pot. It came and was what I was used to getting. I asked for a second bowl and was told the soup was bagged up and I could not have any. This was a terrible way to talk to and treat a loyal customer. I am guessing the first bowl must have been from the previous day. The picture shows the difference between my dads old bowl of soup on the left and my one new bowl on the right. The color of the new bowl is lighter. The seasonings also tasted much better.

Missing Item

I ordered a Lg Alfredo dipping sauce & breadsticks to go as well as salad & soup. After driving 30 min there & back only to discover I was missing my dipping sauce. The WHOLE reason I went!! Sat on hold to speak to Johnny Le (General Mgr) only to be told how disappointed he was. He basically blamed me & said he spoke to Jacob in the To Go and they assured him it was in the bag. Are you sure its not in a white cup? I have NO white cup Johnny, what are you missing?? I took a photo just to show what I received. I am overly disappointed that I wasnt offered a refund or anything. I insisted on a return of $11.05 to my credit card yet I havent seen that credit posted. Check your To Go items before leaving and dont expect good customer service.

Complaining about the food that was given to us today

The food had no taste or flavor to it the texture of the breadcrumbs of the meat was kind of slimy and I told the manager about it and she act like it was no biggie and no problem and everything else and so they went ahead and made another one they said and it's just the same thing and so when we I got home I complained about it again and she said oh no it's just not the same thing and it is so I don't understand the problem and I've been eating there for many many years and it's the first time I've ever had a problem with this me and my friend went there today to eat and we was not satisfied and we had to pay full price for the day and she did not want to give us a discount for either one and I thought that was wrong and that's why I explained the food still is bland and still the same to me I think they just took and put the food in another container and gave it to us that's how I feel about it and she said no they redid it but it's not the same amount of food that we had so yes I really think that they just put the food in another container and gave it back to us and that's how I feel about it cuz the same place the same slam on the meat and it was in lake Charles Louisiana

General manager called me and offered sincere apologies, provided a very generous gift card. And will be speaking to the night manager.

I took some of my children out for a special treat. We absolutely love Olive Garden, family favorite. Our waitress Debbie, was amazing. She was great with the kids. Friendly & attentive. Our bill came to $52.56. I used kiosk on the table to pay. I added a 10 dollar tip making it $62.56. The above amount came out of my bank account, yet the receipt & your kiosk said I owed $9.37. I brought this up to the manager. Who then brought me a receipt saying I owed $7.81. After arguing with this man. Who tried telling me it was an issue with my card, I did not have enough money to pay. Who told me because I was using a business account It clearly didn't cover the alcohol. Who told me that Apple Pay must've messed up. I just put my card in and paid the $9.37. Except the kiosk said I now owed $1.04 The manager proceeded to bring me over two receipts one saying I owe $61.06 the other one saying I owed $62.39. I continually showed him how these full amounts were coming out of my bank account. He then said "is that a bank statement or bank app? If it's a bank app, I wouldn't trust it." At this point my five month old was screaming. I was massively embarrassed by his raised voice & continued insistence that there's just not enough money on my card. He tried informing me I was paying from different accounts when at the end, I showed him all three amounts coming out of the same account. ***All of these receipts took payment as a portion of the bill & a portion of the tip. Having worked as a server myself for many years, I have never seen that happen. The bill always comes first. We had an absolutely wonderful evening until it came to payment. I left there embarrassed, humiliated, angered & had an entirely wonderful evening with my children destroyed. To say it put a damper on the evening is an understatement. I also have all receipts, photos of kiosk & my account. I have submitted a complaint to corporate as well.
