Managers

This is what one manager at Novitex said to their team , the disrespect, moral or how they are treated. Here is a example straight from the manager mouth. GM- I just want to say this with all due respect. With Technology, things are not alway going to go smooth with new technology. Sometime a little effort is needed on the user part.If we start thinking in this way it will help us. clearly she is telling her staff they are incapable of doing thing and need to keep up with the flow of work. manager do not respect their staff and how can they talk about their staff, she clearly having issues with Grammar.

BAD , THE WORSE

HAVING TO WORK WITH NOVITEX IS THE WORSE, THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR EMPLOYEE, THEIR IS NO ROOM FOR GROWTH AND THEY GIVE YOU YEARLY REVIEW WITH NO INCREASE IN PAY. I HAVE WORKED FOR THEM OVER 3 YEAR MAKING THE SAME MONEY WAS MAKING WHEN WALKED IN DOOR, WITH ME GETTING AWARDS, GREAT EVALUATIONS AND GOING FROM PART TIME TO FULL TIME. THEY HAVE UPPER MANAGER NOT DOING THEIR JOB BUT RUNNING THE CONTRACT AND TREATING THEIR EMPLOYEE LIKE SLAVES. I HAVE NEVER WORKED FOR A COMPANY THAT DOESNT ASK THEIR EMPLOYEE FOR OPINION OR SUGGESTION TO HELP IMPROVE OR WHY THEY DONT GIVE EMPLOYEE OPPORTUNITY TO ADVANCE. NOW THEY SAY THE COMPANY HAS BEEN BROUGHT OUT WHICH WHAT GOOD IS THAT GOING TO DO IF NOTHING GOING TO CHANGE. BROKEN PROMISES AND LIES IS WHAT THEY TEACH PEOPLE AT NOVITEX TO TELL THEIR EMPLOYEE.

Novitex Enterprise Solutions DC office returned a letter to a Congressman

Novitex returned a Certified, Return Receipt requested Letter sent through USPS to my Congressman. Novitex plainly marked "opened for inspection" then hand printed RTS on the outside envelope and sent it back to me. I had to sign for it so USPS has the proof of what Novitex did. Suspect Postal Regulations and Federal laws were broken as this was censorship. My Congressman never saw the contents of the envelope. This happened early in June 2016 but I erred in not sending it certified, return receipt requested then. That letter simply vanished. Again interference in communications with my elected Congressman. It all appears innocent enough, Pitney Bowes Management solutions bought out and Novitex pops up. But these are bad operators.....BEWARE

There are better opportunities waiting!

After working for Pitney Bowes for almost 18 years, and then for Novitex for 2, I decided to leave my Director position with the company. Pitney Bowes Management Services (PBMS) was a great company. It was not perfect (but then what company is?), but it allowed for growth, new learning opportunities, and the chance for people to prove themselves. It also, generally speaking, worked to ensure the management and HR structures aligned well and held people accountable. When PBMS was sold and became Novitex, it became a truly horrible organization. As a Director with almost 300 employees, reporting up through a dozen managers, I can tell you that there was continual push-back on senior leadership on matters regarding ethical decisions on the fair treatment of employees, and our maintaining positive relationships with clients. I can state for a fact that management was told to rate employees poorly on annual reviews in order to reduce/eliminate any merit increases (which rarely came anyway), as well as remove annual incentive payouts for managers. Managers were also informed every quarter that, "You need to find" XXX number, "of people to cut". This was done despite the impact to customer operations. In my field of government operations, this is blatant fraud - having the federal government pay for contracted services and resources that they are not receiving. On top of this, there became what was a daily ritual of dealing with the continual integration of new applications (i.e., ADP, Workday, etc...) that did not include any training, and ultimately caused employees issues with time entry and missing pay. If you are still working for Novitex, my guidance is to leave as soon as possible. There are fantastic companies out there looking to reward hard-working individuals. As former leadership, I can tell you that Novitex does not care about its employees - there is no concern for family life, employee well-being, or fair and equal treatment. It has simply dissolved into a company that works to bring in 'warm bodies' to perform sub-par services.

Inept Management

Novitex (formerly Pitney Bowes) took me through the hiring process all the way from initial acceptance of my resume and supporting documents to actually offering me a position and taking the drug test, and even giving me a start date and time. A few days later I was selected for Jury Duty on one particular day a week after I would start, and they promptly withdrew the job offer, saying the job was cancelled. This was after I had been selected for the position and all the paperwork was signed. You'd do well to avoid these people...they'll *** every chance they get.

Fraud-Mishawaka, IN(i can only speak on this branch)

They hired me for a documents position and when I arrived first day I got put in a call center? Training for new position indefinite? The manager talks about her employees behind their backs and with fellow co-workers. Totally unprofessional. Power struggles. Also, when I spoke with her direct manager about the lack of communication of not notifying of the training for the new position. I was told this is how things run in a large corporations! HMMMM...my professional advice STEER CLEAR OF NOVITEX!

Company operating on the fringe of bankruptcy

Novitex is working itself down to skeleton crews to service their customers. Cooking their staffing model to pass off to potential buyers? This company is in a downward death spiral, and it is best to keep your distance. Their pay is not competitive and they can only hire those in desperate need. I would be willing to bet my 2 week pay check that they will not be in business within the next 5 years. They break laws, have horrible HR service. IT service is nearly non-existent. Bad communication, and no real business model to speak of. Keep looking for a real company before saying yes to this one!

Glad I am no longer at Novitex; I'd rather be penniless

Well, I was hired in Feb of 2010 by Pitney Bowes before it became Novitex., after having worked there since July of 2009 for another company. I am a shorter, white male and you will see how that is relevant to the complaint. My first supervisor, who was from Guyana, didn't like white people and referred to us as crackers on a few occasions. A true double standard! She was lazy and incompetent anyway. After the 2012 election she said that it wasn't about race then in the next sentence said to "get the white out of the White House!". She also said that she was reluctant to hire me because I was "a little guy and probably incapable!" Yes, I told HR about this and nothing happened to her. Other than that, she pretty much pretended I didn't exist (which was a good thing ultimately), most of management did that anyway. Now, in 2013, another manager decided to browse through my emails and forward one to himself...a no no! I was told that he was scolded for it but I doubt that knowing how this place operates. He was supposed to be terminated for that anyway! I was never offered an apology for this by him or anyone. At the end of 2013, I suffered a couple seizures at work. They actually did call my family those two times, as they were supposed to. However, in mid 2014, I had another seizure and the new manager, they had brought in from another site, had no idea what to do and that he had to contact my family. A bunch of b.s.! Not only that but they didn't send anyone to the hospital with me as they were supposed to also. Were they apologetic? NO! I had to approach them for an "apology". They and HR couldn't have been more apathetic about it. This new manager also liked to call me out by email. He never heard of praise in public and chastise in private.Yet, he never did the same to his favorites. Personally, I don'tthink he liked white people; I know he didn't like me. He couldn't wait to write me up for calling out sick citing the fact that HR would come down on him if he didn't but, yet, he didn't seem too worried about HR disciplining him for not contacting my family when I had a medical emergency. They were so clearly targeting me! This place, Novitex, definitely needs a visit from the Dept of Labor and I am surprised that a company such as Goldman Sachs would do business with them and allow them to touch their work at all. Now I know why they have them offsite and not at 200 West in NYC where GS is located. Novitex corporate is in Connecticut but I worked at a hub at 640 West 28th in NY. Glad I am gone from there. I don't like the abuse I was receiving or the disrespect. Novitex is shameful!

Big time discrimination

I have to agree with this 100%, however along with the other ***, I had to deal with discrimination because I was white and the team lead was black. She told me once I was permanent "she would own me", well ONE day after I was permanent her and another one of her little friends railroaded me and made me so uncomfortable I walked out!! Shame on this company for hiring such unprofessional prejudice people, she just waited until I was "hers" then acted on how she really felt about me..which I knew all along she made no attempt to hide her meanness, unless they get rid of her this company will continue to have issues keeping decent workers

Novitex should be called Kotex

They seal from employees and count it as profit, then ADP wont give any info out about it. Don't work for these inbred money stealing butt wipes. They never give out raises even though the company made 400 million of the cuts employees were forced to take.( 15% off the top and 10 hours less a week.) If they could steal the enamel off your teeth they would!!!!! Management is running wild on power trips and hire their family members at way more than regular employees. especially at a site in Downtown Detroit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You know the big gl-- t--ers on Jefferson. This company should be called Kotex because they have all of their employees bleeding for money that is rightfully owed to them!!! health care is a joke ! you're better off buying a box of Band-Aids Keep clear of this company if you want to earn a livable income. If you have a real employment issue they give you the run around with emails and phone numbers to people who don't have a clue or care at all. Hey Novitex I hope you get Cancer and die!!!

Novitex is CHEATING their employees out of their salaries

On many occasions my supervisor has tried to clear up confusion on overtime, vacation time, personal time & sick leave. ADP is the payday company that handles Novitex, there is no phone number or contact info within Novitex that an employee can complain about their pay or lack of. All matters are referred to ADP and they could give a good *** about the Novitex employees, as long as Novitex continues to pay them for their VERY VERY BAD SERVICE. Since January 1, 2015 I have not been able to open my accrued time reports in ADP, I've called ADP several times and each time they say, "oh we are having a problem with that, but I can give you your totals over the phone." That is deliberate, so that there is no written documentation in our employee account. No written proof, no case. When the rep gave me my accrued totals, it was all approximate, no exact totals, she could not even say whether my 2 days of vacation were brought over from 2014. Remember, any time brought over from previous year has to be used in 1st quarter of the next year. Just another way to steal money from their employees. I predict that one day soon there will be a class action suite against Novitex/ADP for cheating their employees out of their hard earned salaries.

Unethical, cheap, unprofessional

I got an appointment with a recruiter, when I called on the app date the recruiter said he could not do it, that I needed to reschedule. I thought the very reason to schedule is to save the time the date, but here I was. Then for another job with the same Novitex, I was told by the interviewer the company was only paying $10 an hour for a job that easily pays around $14 somewhere else. This company is very cheap. Compensation and Poor Management

I learned my lesson, never work for an outsourced company. Period end of story. I accepted a temp-perm office services position. In my interview, the manager said after 3 months Novitex will convert me to perm. After 3 months, I had no job offer? Odd? Finally, after 6 months into the role, I finally had a job offer with a decrease in pay and hours cut? Red flag. Novitex would net even match the hourly rate which was already a pay cut. Onsite manager needs leadership skills and should take a seminar. Its illegal for any business to decrease pay after an employee has invested time and effort? Novitex should hire employees that have an education, experience and value. The employees I worked with on site were uneducated, no work ethics, paranoid, no team players, and lazy workers. Anyway, I declined the offer because I know where I stand in the job force and worked for GREAT companies that actually have a open door policy and treat employees with respect and value. Embarrassed to have Novitex on my resume...

Rude and insulting recruiters at this company

I recently was interviewed by Novitex ( formerly a Division of Pitney Bowes). The recruiter was very unprepared, asked questions in an interrogation manner (So old school). Then to add insult to injury, she told that the salary was almost 50% below the usual and customary salary for this position. The position was located in the DC Metro area, and all she said is " well if you don't want the job, then I will remove your from our data base for future openings." I never said that I did not want the job, I simply pointed out that the salary was well below the standard rate of pay for the locale and the qualifications that they were seeking.
