Northside tickets should be closed!!!

I ordered tickets for a production of Wicked in June of 2011. Two days before the show, i was called and told that tickets were no longer available for my showing! I asked for a refund and was told it would take between 7-14 days to process it...as of now one month later I am still fighting to get this refund!! I have spoken with Catherine, the customer services rep several times and I feel like I'm getting the run around! Everyone that has dealt with this company needs to inform the BBB, and possibly group together to file a class action for fraudulent business practices.

In my opinion, they are a *** Artist operation

I bought tickets four months in advance from Northside and paid by credit card. They sent confirmation that the tickets were reserved and said they would mail them two to three weeks before the show "Wicked." Four days before the show, they called and said the tickets were double booked. They said they would keep looking and call me on Thursday, which they did not do. On Saturday, three hours before the performance, they called and said they found tickets. The problem is I don't live in the city, and I did not have time to get to the show at that late notice. They refused to refund my money, even though they had not called by the time they said they would. They fell back on a no refund policy. Very convenient for them. I'd be willing to bet the tickets don't exist, especially when you read the other reviews on this site. In my opinion, based on my experience, this is a *** artist operation. If you're smart, buy somewhere else.

Northside tickets xld tkts 11/1/11 pur 5/5/11

A rude rep of Northside tickets 281-447-**** called 11/1/11 re tickets purchased 5/5/11 for Wicked in Cincinnati, saying they were overbooked,(not true, still selling) and would not honor the tickets which they hadn't sent yet. Offered alternate of Thanksgiving night (will be out of town), a different night for an additional $200, another city in Ohio, or a refund. She wouldn't give me her name & hung up on me, I called back to let her know that I was notifing the media & she hung up again. Unbelieveable!! Do not use them!!

Northside Tickets: terrible service, scam

I ordered tickets and paid a delivery fee of $178, never received tickets. Company sent me an email with instruction to pick-up at will call. Will call would not release the tickets regardless of identification, purchase credit card and email from Northside tickets, was required to purchase additional tickets. Called Northside Tickets for refund, verified Theatre refunded purchase to Northside, I was promised a credit repeatedly, Northside agrees I am entitled to a credit. I have demanded to speak to the owner several times, Paul Weller is never available. I would never recommend them. Its been over 90 days, no matter how many call I make or the extensive documentation I present, NO refund! Today I was told by Northside to contact my VISA company because they do not know how to process a credit.

No tickets and no refund

I purchased tickets from Northside. Two days prior to the concert I realized they didn't send me the tickets. I was was told they couldn't get them and I would get a refund. A week passed and no refund. I have called every day since for the last three weeks. I have spoken to several people in the offfice and they all say the same thing that only the owner can issue a refund and he is not in the office. Apparently he is never in the office to issue refunds. I spend countless hours on the phone trying for a refund with no luck. Finally I went to Bank of America and made a claim. they got my money back Northside is a scam.

Watch out!

I placed $500 order for tickets with Northside Tickets of Houston this spring. I received a phone call two days before show informing me that there was a malfunction in their web site when I purchased the tickets, and they were not available, They agreed to refund my money. This has not happened after several months and many phone calls. Every time I call, I'm told that "the owner" is out, and will have to review my account, etc. I've noticed many recenty on-line complaints with Norhtside Tickets. My next step is to file complaints with the Texas Attorney General, Better Business Bureau, and Federal Trade Commission. Watch out, because there is something

They took my $1200 and never gave me tickets.

I thought I was ordering tickets directly from the Theater. The website looks like you are ordering tickets from the theater. They debited my $1259 right away, then no tickets were delivered. When I called to find out what was going on, they always said they were working on it. They never told me that they actually didn't have the tickets, they said they were trying to get us seats together. On the day before the show, they admitted that they didn't have the tickets. They said they would refund, but they haven't and they again keep giving me excuses and the run around. Stay away from this company. They are scam artists.

Do not do business with Northside Tickets out of Houston, TX

On April 25, 2011, I purchased two concert tickets via Bargainseatsonline.com for the Jennifer Hudson event scheduled for June 19, 2011 at Humphreys By the Bay, San Diego, CA. My credit card was charged $339.06 and the seller is: Northside tickets. I received by tickets a week later, however, while reviewing the dinner special on Humphreys' website, I noticed that the concert had been cancelled. On Tuesday, June 7th, I called Northside Tickets to initiate a refund and was told that I needed to contact Bargain seats online and confirmed with them that the concert was cancelled and that they would notify Northside tickets. I called Bargain seats and they informed me that I would receive a refund within 3 business days. As of the date, my credit card has not been credited. I called Bargain seats again, and was informed that sometimes the owner (Northside Tickets) will not release the refund until they received the returned tickets and to call Northside again to inquire about the refund policy. I again called Northside and spoke with Catherine who informed me that I needed to send the tickets back in order to get a full refund. On June 14th, I sent the tickets back along with my purchase receipt as well as a letter explaining my frustration. On June 16th, I called Northside and they received my tickets but indicated that the owner (Tom Wheeler) was not in to release the refund authorization. On June 17th, I called yet again and was told by Angela that she would call me later on in the day if the owner had released the authorization. As a consumer, this ordeal of attempting to get a refund has been rather frustrating and I fill that I'm getting the run around treatment. I purchased the tickets in good faith, and through no fault of theirs or mine, the concert has been cancelled and therefore I expect a full refund in good faith.

Northside Tickets = Scam

In April 2011 I purchased 6 tickets from Northside for a June 18 Ruben Blades/Gilberto Santa Rosa concert in Miami. The tickets I had ordered were supposed to be on the main floor level at $205 each, plus $25 for express delivery - some $1250 in total. THREE DAYS before the show I still didn't have the tickets. I contacted Northside and an agent named Angela said that tickets on the main floor were no longer available, and that the best 6-seat contiguous block she could offer was in the sixth row of a center section in the balcony, and that she would overnight the tickets to my office address. I didn't think I had much of a choice, so I agreed. The next day... no tickets. I called Angela again, and she went into major apology mode, saying that the tickets she had offered me the day before were, again, "no longer available", and now the only choice for a 6-seat contiguous block was IN THE NEXT-TO-LAST ROW, in a lateral section of the theater. By then I was starting to become afraid that if I canceled my order it would take months and a lot of luck to get a refund, so I accepted again... but not before telling Angela that I would give them the worst possible review on the Internet, and that I would NEVER do business with them again. It's now two days before the show and I just hope to get my tickets tomorrow and enjoy the show as much as possible... from the nosebleed section.

Northside Tickets

Northside Tickets is a total scam. I purched two theatre tickets online. I was charged $318.00 for tickets that had a face value of $45.00. Charged a delivery fee for tickets that were at the will call window. A litney of made up fees and charges. I tried to talk with someone over the phone to see exactly what I was being charged for. Asked to speak to a supervisor and was told that no one was available. No one willing to help when contacted. Never use this vendor. Never Use this vendor. Total rip off. Total rip off.

Scammed by Northside Tickets Charged 3 times

My hubby isn't too familiar with buying anything on the internet and we live in Toronto and he tried to buy tickets for South Pacific in toronto. He googled and bought them and we received our tickets that were face value 45.00 which we could have bought through ticket master for maybe a 8.00 fee so total of 53.00 each for total of 106.00 instead they cost us over 300.00. He got totally scammed. How is that possible??? DO NOT BUY FROM NORTHSIDE TICKETS. This was such a scam. We are not impressed at all.

Northside Tickets: Scalpers

I purchased 2 tickets to see the Broadway production of Grease at the Hanover Theater in Worcester, MA. Tickets: 2 x $123.00 Service Fee: 2 x $23.37 Standard Delivery: $15.00 Total: $307.74. Come to find out they were only $45 tickets. I would have only paid just over $100 through Hanover. Hanover said they can't do anything about Northside buying up all the tickets and Northside says to bad-so said, read the fine print next time! Glad to see the greed is still out there. I would have like to have brought my two kids. They would love the show. Buyer beware with Northside Tickets. They are making a bad name for themselves with the honest people!

North Side Tickets is a scam

Terrible awful experience. I purchased a ticket for the off broadway musical Hair. While the price they charged me was $220.40, the actual ticket cost was $55, (plus $10.65 to Fred Meyer Ticket Master) and was in a terrible location in the theater. Northside Ticket charged me $170 + $37.40 + $15 for a $55 ticket. When I called they said it was because the show was sold out and they sell tickets to sold out shows. However. I live near Fred Meyer retail store and contacted them as well as the Theater and Ticket Master. All confirmed that the show was not sold out for any of the show dates at the time of my inquiry, (after receiving my tickets from Northside tickets). Northside Tickets is a huge rip off to the consumer. They state that they do not sell you their own tickets but then once you recieve them the tickets may be from Ticket Master. They neglect to state anywhere on their site as of 12/23/2010, that Northside Tickets may charge you over $100 extra for no particular reason for a ticket that might only be $10, ), according to Katherine Heely of Northside Tickets). Their staff is not helpful and pretty much tells you they have been doing this for 20 years and if you don't like it go someplace else. Do not let these people take advantage of you. Call your lawyer, find others who have been taken advantage of by this company and contact me. Make copies of your tickets and conversations with these people.

Northside never sent tickets, I am very unhappy

I ordered tickets for "The Jersey Boys" NYC on Aug. 5, 2010, for a show on Nov. 17, 2010. I never received the tickets in the mail after they were paid for in September, after numerous calls to North Side. They promised to send them every time I called. All I had was my receipt I printed from the Internet order. They finally convinced me to go to "will call" when I called 5 days before the show wondering if I was going to receive the tickets at all. I had to go to the theater twice to get the tickets. I paid a deliver fee for these tickets on the bill and I received them at the theater two hours before the show. I was so stressed about this I will never deal with North Side Tickets again for anything. North Side Tickets means a lot of stress, I don't know how they stay in business.

Northside Tickets ripped me off.

I ordered 6 tickets for a performance on 4/16/2011 online at 11 am on 10/28/10 and realized that I would not be able to attend the event at 2:30 pm the same day. I called Northside tickets and asked for a refund since it was the same day and I had received an from them at 12:41 pm saying the delivery of my tickets would be delayed. I spoke to Ken who asked if he could sell me tickets for another date. I said no, I could not attend at all. He spoke with his manager and said he could not refund the tickets, they had already been purchased. I explained that I had received an email saying the shipment would be delayed. Again, he repeated that they did not frefund or exchange purchashes (however, he had asked me if he could sell me tickets for another date). I asked to speak to the manager, Catherine, she reiterated the same information, including that I had agreed to their terms of no refunds. I argued that since it was the same day, within 4 hours of the purchase and so far in advance of the performance, couldn't they refund my money. They said they had already purchased the tickets and the only thing they could do was to try and relist them and if they were able to resell them, I could get my money back. I asked to speak with Catherine's manager and was told she was not there. I left my home and work numbers and requested a phone call. Catherine told me her name was Gricelda. On November 2, I received an email saying my tickets had been shipped - I had asked that they be relisted - and called Northside again at 1 pm and asked to speak with Gricelda. I was cut off. I called back and was put on hold for 3 minutes before Catherine took my call and told me Gricelda was busy (aren't we all?). I reminded her that I had asked that the tickets be relisted and she said she would "pull them from Fed Ex". I asked again to speak to Gricelda and was put on hold for 7 minutes. I again left a message for Gricelda to return my call and, again, left my home and work phone numbers. Today, I gave up. I have never received the courtesy of a returned call from this organization. Their customer service is abomidable. I'm out over $700. Regardless of the terms and conditions posted on their site, I find it completely unreasonable that this agency didn't try to work with me on this issue. They couldn't even extend the common courtesy of returning a phone call. That's just wrong.
