False Advertisement price discrepancies

Tried to purchase Stonegate Tall Andirondeck chair online advertised price shows $59.99 and free shipping. However after you add to cart and checkout price jumps to regular price of $149.99. Called customer service and they refused to honor advertised online price and said they will notify their IT department their price is wrong.

Horrible Return Policy

I've been trying to return this item now for over 3 weeks, and the customer service people have told me 3 times that they need to get "a return authorization number from manufacturer". I'm returning it b/c it is the wrong size (after customer service told me that it would be right size). This product is useless to me. And then they tell me there's a 15% restocking fee, and you need to pay for return shipping (which btw UPS has at least a $11 minimum). This has been so stressful, as i still have not gotten the authorization number yet -AFTER 3 TIMES ASKING. You compare this experience to Amazon - and it's just laughable. Feels almost criminal. And, then, this company is hounding me for a review on the "experience". Really?? Do not buy from this company if you want to risk not being able to return item.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund. I threatened to sue them and send out a ton of bad press.

I found an in stock air compressor for my business at Northern Tool. Well, the salesman stated it was in stock and I would have in 5 days after payment. I stopped everything I was doing and went to my bank to send a wire transfer and of course paid the invoice in full. Northern Tool had their money in less than an hour of my receiving the invoice. 5 days later no sign of the compressor. When I called a representative they nonchalantly explained that it doesnt ship until April 2022!!!!!!! It took 4 days and for me to threaten getting my lawyer on them before they returned my money Excuses like we only refund via wire transfer for international orders, ( that was funny). And another good one was we only process returns on Thursday And we need to wait for the manufacturer to cancel before we can return your money. All the reps must have a standard reply card they read from. None of them have any authority to do anything except repeat the words on the card. Stay away from Northern Tool unless you want to be lied to

False advertising

Walked in Katy store and placed an special order for a deal that was to good to be true Milwaukee impact 1/2 inch model 2767 2 batteries the charger and the boot the northern tool website says it's number 1 selling item and now they called me and said it's no longer available like they already say how can I find out if anybody else recieve this exact deal or was this just to get people attention. To shop at there store false advertising or something is not write I have lost money over there mistakes several time like this 1 please help us fix this situation this is illegal. Not good business I still haven't received my refund this is bad I'm sending you the receipt of transaction of proof

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE

Placed an order 5/14/21 as of 6/2/21 only 1 of 4 items was received even though it showed in stock..Customer service doesnt know where order is as they say it left warehouse on 5/24...store mgr doesnt know when order is to arrive and was rude...and they all say they cant do anything to see where the order is...they charged my credit card but havent received my $250 worth of items.BEWAREb NORTHTOOL

Product item did not have any hardware to assemble it

I ordered a front porch parcel box for my packages. I waited almost a month and despite the tracking g showing it enroute, that was a LIE! It never arrived. I called Northern Tools and got a million different excuses about their vendor so I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and order a different parcel box. That order too was deficient. Not only was it delivered LATE, it came with ZERO hardware to assemble it. The website did not indicate anything about me having to go to Home Depot or Lowes to spend more $ on hardware so the item could be assembled. Northern Tools customer service persons were ZERO help and were more than OK with telling me to return the item than getting the parts sent to me seeing as their own website DID NOT disclose that it was my responsibility to buy my own parts. When I explained I was a 100% disabled veteran that too was NOT important to northern Tools- DO NOT waste your time with this company. Not only do they misrepresent what they sell, it appears they rely on other vendors to supply them. Veterans, DONT waste the small money you have on these people. They are an insult to veterans that look to them for descent products.

Northern tool deleted gift card with balance still on it .

my kids gave me a Northern Tool gift card a few years back and I used it once.I had a balance on it. I went to check the balance today and their website said I would need to call the tel # listed on it. I did this and the phone rang 3 times and hung up.I tried again with the same result. I went by their store and ask them to check it and nothing showed up on it. I called the customer help line on their website,I spoke with Mitch. He ran the number on the gift card and said it had gotten too old and was deleted. I ask " do you delete cards with a balance on them" and he said yeah all the time. He told me the card rapper had a expiration date on it. I think I was told this just to get rid of the call. If they are going to do this the card itself should state a expiration date after its activated. I told him i wasn't satisfied with that explanation could I speak with someone else. Well I stayed on hold about 20 seconds and the phone goes to a dial tone.This is wrong! and I'm not done yet. Better business Bureau and word of mouth next.

Delayed , delayed and again delayed

My order is now with the third delivery date as unknown but sometime in maybe march for the order placed in January. No concern to contact the customer for the order being delayed again after the third call to still not receive any satisfaction on my paid order.

An Awesome Team! Pensacola, Fla. Store

On January 23rd, 2021, my wife and I were on a mission to buy a toolbox for my new truck. Thanks to John and the manager that worked that Saturday night, our search started and ended at Northern Tool. Thanks to their knowledge and help, explaining the pros and cons, we bought the right toolbox that fit my needs for work. I didn't leave the store second guessing myself if I had bought the right toolbox. Even the cashier greeted us with a smile. Good people make great employees. An awesome crew that's a valuable asset to Northern Tool!

Being charged and no product

I ordered Nov.26 ,2020 and was told then that it could be as late as Dec. 12 . I contacted Northern tool and was told that my order was shipped and was at the springfield mo location. I went out to pick it up on Dec. 19 and only 2 of the 4 items was there. I refused the order. My C.C. has already been charged and I have no product.

Bad Customer Service Experience

I ordered two items on 12/8 that was suppose to ship between 12/15-12/18. On 12/19 I contacted them on why it hadn't shipped. I was then emailed by Northern Tool and their credit department that there was an issue with my pay card. I use this pay card for purchases and have funds on it. I did not know there was an issue with the card and could have corrected it right away. This was a Christmas present and now it's not available. I am not happy with this company, it's customer service and its inability to communicate issues. I would not order from them.

Refused damaged equipment and got no Refund

I ordered a Band Saw for over 800.00 from Northern Tool with an estimated delivery date of 5 to 7 business days. After 14 business days passed i called to see where the order was and kept getting referred to the shipping company NT used for the order. When the band saw did finally arrive I inspected it before i allowed the driver to unload and the saw was damaged so i refused delivery. When I call NT for a refund they indicated i would get the refund right away. The order was placed on 9/8/2020 and it is now 10/5/2020 and still no refund.

Ironton tools

The switch fell apart after minimal home use. Just flat went to pieces just by turning it on. It is a wasted piece of junk now
