2014 Altima CVT transmission failure

2014 Altima 90500 miles transmission craps out yes warranty was pushed out to 88k and yes it 2 years after the time warranty period, sorry I'm 70 and don't drive more than 9k or 10k a year, Nissan should sell me a discounted transmission since they say its not under warranty anymore, or help with the installation cost to replace the faulty CVT transmission, Nissan has known for years that their CVT transmissions are weak! Next is the replacement part has 12 months or 12k warranty why? I'm the original owner off this vehicle ,everyone that owns a Nissan should get more than 12months or 12k, especially if you are the original owner. new Altima are 5years or 60k why wouldn't a replacement for an original car have a warranty period the same ? Sorry I don't agree with Nissan USA policy . I would never own another Nissan and be sure to tell everyone else that might purchase a Nissan not to waste their money!!! signed PISSED OFF

At 600 miles transmission 3300 miles new engine

at 600 miles new transmission at 3300 miles new engine coil packs radiator car has been at dealer for 3 weeks for text care done hail damage if the car was not in the shop it would of been garaged and we dont feel comfortable or safe driving the car my daughter has a 18 mo daughter and will not drive the car had to be towed in last time i have asked for a supervisor no response. Johnathan was the person from Nissan have not talked to him in 3 weeks they said he has tried to call *** i have tried to call him at least 10 times never heard from him want a new car

Transmission

My daughter in law/son has a 2018 nissan Altima with 88,000 miles. Tuesday while driving the transmission went out without any previous problems/indications. As Im online reading this is a known problem. They still owe 9,000 on this car. Is they any warranty/good faith help?

I have a bad experience and no one can give a call back

I have 2021 nissan altima i give my car for service ( oil change and tire rotation) every time they did mistake they dont have proper wheel balancing machine and they do scrathes and broke my alloywheel for me this is the third time happen and they are argue with coustmers afterthat they are changing the pictures and lying and they are trying to blame on us .i strongly recommended dont give your cars for service in frank fletcher nissan ( joplin) and especially service advisor ( steve wright) he is a very very rude with all customers and below and i shares with proofs also so please dont give your cars in frank fletcher nissan

Deceptive salespersons

Hi, I have had an awful experience at one of the nissan dealerships and I would like to complain about it. The people over there did nothing but lie to me. I already knew the price of a used vehicle and they kept telling me that they will "give me a good deal". Then their salesperson, Samuel, told me to come in on the first day of the month because they can "do anything they want with the price". I called off work just to go get the vehicle. I am not rich, this vehicle isnt a splurge for me, it is a necessity. We got treated very badly and kept getting lies spewed in our faces. The car looked very dirty and they said they would clean, the whole ordeal took 7 hrs and the car still wasnt clean. I got the slimmest discount because I made a scene after I found out they didnt do anything of the things they promised to do. So going in any day of the week would have been the same, why did they lie about being flexible with prices on the first of the month. The person then tells me he would give me vouchers/gift card to get gas. Doesnt give me anything and says he will mail it to me. I wait patiently and nothing arrives to I ask him about it, he says it is delivered on his end. I asked who the carrier was or what is the tracking number, he says he deleted the email with that info. They are still lying to me. They lied to sell their vehicle and treated us so badly. This was at nissan fairfield, CA. I am very disappointed, we have only ever driven nissan and havent had a bad experience before this but this is just insane. They treat us like idiots. Ill attach the screenshot of our conversation today where he makes excuses instead of just providing a tracking number like he originally said.

Issues with service Nissan of Midland.

To whom it may concern, my husband dropped off our car on 6/21 for an insurance claim. Nissan kept telling us that they would send out the quote to our insurance on multiple occasions, but wouldnt get to it. The quote was finally sent to our insurance company on 7/11 and that was only because our insurance company forced them to. We were informed that our insurance company also needed them to send pictures of the damage but that the Nissan service refused, making this process take even longer. I am writing because Im nervous they will keep dragging this out for us. We are a one car family and this has taken a major toll on us. I know that these things take time but there was no reason for the quote to take three weeks to get to our insurance company.. all for a broken oil sensor. Thank you for your time. Laura

Known issue but repair refused unless I pay

4 yr old Nissan Rouge with 77,000 miles and has a known fan assembly issue but Nissan won't repair it unless I pay. Never again

Re: Bobby Edwards-Customer #42141 Invoice #187356 To whom it may concern; In regards to service on 6/24:2023 and 6/26/2023 for my elderly father: I, Sherry Goins am writing in regards to my Dad who visited this store for service on two occasions this week. The first visit was on Saturday the 24th at 12pm in the afternoon, my Dad wanted to get a diagnostic test due to some issues regarding the speedometer, he was told on Saturday that they DO NOT do diagnostic test on Saturday (hard to believe due to most people are off on the weekend) so my Dad rescheduled for Monday the 26th @ 8a.m. My Dad arrived approximately at 7:30a.m. For his 8am appt., for a basic diagnostic test and they assured him it didnt take that long to do that, after a couple hours of waiting my Dad inquired as to what was going on as he was one of the first customers to arrive and his truck still had not been pulled in to do the test. The service advisor than told him they should be pulling it in soon, this was at 9:30am, after sitting there for another TWO hours(waiting for a diagnostic test) my Dad AGAIN went to the service desk to ask the Lady (who was now at the service desk) what was going on she replied: I cannot go check on it , I cant leave my desk. She did not help him in any way, he then proceeded to another service person who FINALLY got Service Mechanic Manager and then within the next 20 minutes he received the test. We are extremely upset that he was treated with such poor service and the fact that he waited FOUR hours after Two appt. Is ridiculous. It is very sad that our elderly are treated so bad, what happened to customer service. We have a full warranty on the truck so maybe this is why they were treated so poorly(my parents werent spending money that day) We have purchased numerous Nissan products as a family and we our extremely disappointed with the poor service we received. Bad ethical practices

went to midway dealership and made a deal. when i got to finance they changed the numbers around and the interest rate and the months when i called them on it they lied and said they were up front which they were not . this is the worst experience i have ever been thru i have purchased over 10 nissans in my life and i will never purchase again

AC not fixed by dealer after two visits

Hi, I have taken my 2017 Nissan Titan to the rt 46 dealer twice now with the same problem. The AC stops working when in traffic and just blows warm outside air. It has to be a temperature sensor for over heat protection or something like that. Both time I took it to the dealer they charged me the $180 (or so) diagnosis fee just to tell me that nothing is wrong with the AC and they guaranteed me that it will work fine. I can't use my truck when it hot outside now. I need this fixed and not get charged diagnosis fee for nothing. I am very frustrated and would not consider buying another Nissan due to this. 2023 Nissan Titan XD SV LEMON

In april 2023 we purchased a 2023 Nissan Titan XD sv model, and traded in our 2018 Titan XD. We chose this truck to use for our Mobile auto repair service and for towing our fifth wheel rv. In May we attempted to put in our CURT 5TH wheel legs in the Built in goose neck the truck was equiped with from the factory. only to discover it wouls NOT FIT and drop down far enough to lock into place securely, Took truck to 4 different Hitch places to have looked at, Was told by everyone that the goose neck factory installed system was installed INCORRECTLY BY THE FACTORY and THAT THE FACTORY SCREDEW UP AND PUT THE WELDED IN BOLTS TOO HIGH AND CROOKED ON THE FRAME AND THAT IT IS NOT REPAIRABLE WITHOUT CPMPRIMISING THE STRENGTH OF THE FRAME AS IT WOULD ALL HAVE TO BE CUT OUT, RE-DRILLED AND NEW BOLTS WELDED TO IT,. WE contacted the dealership, KENNY SIMPSON NISSAN, as well as NISSAN USA. were told to leave the vehicle at the dealership which may be be for SEVERAL WEEK so a nissan representative can look at it NISSAN USA, and they the dealership will provide a loaner CAR not a truck (I NEED A TRUCK FOR OUR BUSINESS AS WELL FOR MY OTHER JOB THAT IS PART OF MY EMPLOYERS REQUIREMENTS.) I tols them all i cant afford to loose my income by not having a truck, THERE STATEMENTS TO US WERE, RENT A TRUCK, AND YOU SHOULD OF A CONSIDERED THIS BEFORE YOU BOUGHT THE VEHICLE. WE NEVER KNEW OF THIS FACTORY DEFECT AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE, THE dealership AND NISSAN USA stated they could do a buy back, and THE DEALERSHIP stated I would loose several THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS at a trade value. THIS is a new TRUCK with a TOTAL factory defect from the factory. I AM stuck with a TOTAL useless truck for towing a GOOSE NECK OR 5TH WHEEL. I can NOT AFFORD to loose 12.000 dollars on a buy back that is NISSANS FACTORYS DEFECT. The truck was briefly looked at by Menholt nissan and they could see the Problem right away, but have a regular APPT on the 30Th to look at further. it is very apparent NISSAN USA WILL NOT BACK UP THEIR PRODUCTS AND VEHICLES AND DO NOT CARE AT ALL ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS. I am stuck with a useless truck that is causing me a LOSS of INCOME already because I can Not tow vehicle into the shop when needed. THIS 2023 NISSAN TITAN XD NEEDS TO BE REPLACED BY NISSAN USA WITHOUT ANY COST AND LOSS TO ME TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE AND FACTORY DEFECT.

Pissed consumer

I purchased a 2023 nissan titan xd 6 weeks ago. today went to have my fifth wheel installed on the truck only to find that there is a severe defect from the factory with the built in puck system to attach the 5th wheel legs. made contact with the dealer 4 hour away and was told they will pick up the truck for further analsis and give a loaner car. No memorial day trip now as we CANT haul our 5th wheel.. This truck is my lively hood ad I haul tools every day for auto roadside repair i do which is going to cost me around a thousand dollars a day income while this truck is gone. $58.000 for a truck I can not use and now losing income and no holiday trip. Not very happy at all with nissan at the moment and for sure they could provide some type of a loaner truck, At the point of just thinking to take a big loss and trade it in,

I wanted to ask my car has a recall I know I was looking. I put my My Bb number on it and I call this number and you guys at tone to whatevers happened to me. I had an accident my passenger back didnt open and noon and then when I break it took so long to bake but I was reading that my car has a recall and then Ill talk to the person over the phone. This is the fourth time they just dont wanna answer that they just be quiet and hang up after they dont give me those dilation know nothing
