Armor contract

I was told that my account has been cancelled at my request since I no longer have the router I purchased. The contract was for 2 years and it was cancelled by me after the first year and after I had been charged for the second year. When I first spoke with customer service, I was told that they would credit my card for the 2nd year. Today I was told that even though I no longer use the service, I have to pay for it. While I understand that I signed up for 2 years (I guess), the customer service experience was simply awful.

Customer Service Representative get paid to do nothing.

I called them for technical support on my cable modem/router. The technical support representative couldn't help me unless I bought the warranty. I declined to buy the warranty. So, the representative said, "Then, download the manual and walked through the steps yourself". I don't recommend buying their products with customer support like that.

Product recommendation needed

Please recommend a WiFi booster for Netgear AC1750 Model # R6400v2 Serial # 59B38873A0669. The signal is too weak. I cannot connect to it in one of my bedrooms and outside in my yard. Regards, Walsworth Farrington

BATTERY FIRE HAZZARD

I have a Netgear Nighthawk MR1100. For the 3rd time the battery has swollen and popped the back off the unit. This morning it happened again and was smoking leaving a scorched mark on my desk. I talked to your so called customer service and was told there was a issue with the hardware causing this to happen yet you will not do anything to correct the dangerous situation. You really don't care about the issues your product is causing. Netgear=poor customer relations.

Battery Fire Hazzard

I have a Netgear Nighthawk MR1100 and for the 3rd time I have found the battery swollen so much it popped the battery cover off the unit. This morning it happened again and was smoking. It left a scorched mark on my desk. I can not find anyone in your support that cares about the issue. You know you have a problem but you refuse to address it. I have a hard time believing that your company does not care about the issues your battery is causing. Netgear=no support for products.

Router replacement

New router 4 months old, ports quit working. On phone with netgear support for 2.5 hours. They finally decided it did not work properly. Paid $ 16.90 for shipment of a new router. They sent me RMA to send back the non working router. Have not heard from them since. This all started on 8-7-23. The router was a Nighthawk RAXE300, 6wifi. I have called support 4 times, all say it is shipped but I have received no emails or nothing else. Their system reads processing not shipped. Something is lost in their system. Talked yo them last on 8-16-23 at 0530. They said would follow up and would send me a email today. It is currently 1800 hours and no email followup . They have my $ 16.90. Hope they can use it better than me. No more NETGEAR PRODUCTS FOR MY HOUSE.Stay away from Netgear

Orbi rbr50v

I bought an Orbi with high hopes for a nice, fast mesh. However, the product security features are slim without additional subscriptions. When I enabled the Armor protection I suddenly was not able to reliably connect. In addition, the 50v alexa portion was flaky from the get go, going max sound and just being unpredictable. I replaced it and it is like an act of god now to get them to cancel the autorenew subscriptions. My experience with support has been lackluster indeed.

Cannot reset password

When I went on phone, it wouldn't accept password. Finally called customer service and we tried again. No luck. Then it wouldn't accept the user name. After three attempts, we tried a different method and finally got results. About 4o minutes shot for a supposedly simple operation! The info is right on the side of the modum!God only knows.

Still no internet nothing but lies

Talked to a tech call mark. Said i would have internet if i paid 400.00 of my vacation money.said he would call me the next day to set up a a password. Never called, weather improved, but my internet got worst. Nothing but lies . Not happy with service or internet

Netgear Armor

Absolutely awful! I purchased the wrong software and asked to cancel the subscription within the 30 day window. Never heard from them ever. Emailed them 5 times with zero response. I will never ever use this company again. I am very angry I paid for something I cant use. I fully intended to just change the subscription but now its over 30 days. DONT USE NETGEAR

Netgear sucks. choppy loading and continuous playing.

cant run wireless cameras and the performance of the unit was choppy at best. In the middle of the streaming the program freezes.

Worst Customer Service from ANY company I've experienced.

First, support is based in India. Second, they do not speak nor understand English very well. Third, they do NOT care about your issue or problem. Fourth, I have placed numerous call and sent numerous emails to them looking for help! They absolutely SUCK! I will NEVER purchase Netgear again!!!
