Threatened disconnect immediately for a past due bill that was four days past

I had just paid a past due amount of $113 to this company one day before they sent me a disconnect notice that said pay the rest of what you owe ($85 that had just become past due) or face immediate cutoff. It was due four days earlier. What kind of company does this? Illegal practices.

Rates went up 325%

My rate went up from 13 cents per KWH to 40 cents per KWH on 11/1/22. My bill is UNAFFORDABLE! It used to be $65 per month but now its $130 per month! I don't even use that much electricity. I have every lamp unplugged and live like a freaking caveman now. I use a FLASHLIGHT to see in the dark! These CON-ARTISTS sent me a termination letter because I am unable to keep up with their insanely unaffordable bills. I've tried to get in touch with them to give them a piece of my mind, but their telephone lines are down! UNACCEPTABLE!

Reps are courteous but ....

I have called 3 times -about a tree branch that has been hanging off my porch - the branch is close to power lines - it's been over a week - the reps are courteous - but despite work orders filed, no one has yet to show up to remove the branch -.

Wrong bank number

Gave incorrect bank routing number help me by taking correct number bank mailed me have customer service person call me at 585-765-**** today to correct the number please. The bank did a courtesy payment but need you to have correct number. The correct number is 106000****796

Since the 80s Nationsl grid scammed & stole lied & harrased. I wish i knew the person i have a good idea from High School & i smaked his face like a Horses *** is the one behind the 39 year Scam.

No power

Worst electric provider ever! Can't keep power on every time there is a storm of any kind. They send oud out robotic alerts prior to a predicted storm incessantly telling everyone that they are prepared and then when it becomes a problem they are as useless as can be. But they are well versed in conning the psc into thinking they are the best thing since sliced bread so they can get rate increases. Too bad they keep bumping up the restoral time by hours as it suots their needs. If there was competition out there they would have been out of business years ago.

Unable to contact the customer service regarding fees billed to my account in error. phone # provided on the bill is no longer in service.

I have been charge over $109 for other fees, that have nothing to do with my bill that it's always paid on time and over the billed amount. I had over $170 credit on my bill and out of nowhere I am billed $72.00 When I try to call regarding the charges the phone # provided on the bill and National Grid website (718-643-****) is no longer in service. How convenient.

Gas leak

Very pleased got to the house quickly checked the the house for gas leak but found none it ended up being a gas leak from the car in the garage.the service man was very good and understanding

About paying my bill

I'm not happy right now!!! I went on websit to pay my bill with my BANKING ACCOUNT can't do that anymore. Now I have to pay my bill by speedy pay. So by using this method you are going to get more money out of me. I don't think so. Your company is a rip off. Try to talk to someone but nope can't do that either. You will get your money when I get time to go somewhere I can pay it with my debit card that's not going to charge me an arm and leg to use it. NOT A HAPPY PERSON RIGHT NOW!!!!!

Safety Suggestion

To all electrical utilities It has been on the news about the prospect of outages being caused by remote controlled drones in the northeast. I would like to offer a safety suggestion. The use of fiber netting(such as fish nets) can be used above electrical substations to prevent disruptive materials from being used to cause power outages. Suspended above and over the substations would prevent materials from being dropped by drones to cause unplanned outages. The nets will be strong enough to prevent the drones from dropping materials over the substations and can support weight heavier than the drone can lift. Being round in nature they can also provide protection on the sides preventing drones from entering the sides below the main netted area. Nets suggested do not transmit electricity very well if at all and can carry a great amount of weight. The cost would be offset by the savings from not having an outage. This is just a suggestion.
