Fraud

I paid them $11,000 back 2011 for a new roof which they send undocumented workers to do my roof. One of the workers almost broke into my home, roof nails all over my yard. They did not replace new wood panel on my roof. When I went up the office on Cape Coral to complain, I was yelled at and cursed by the owners sister. How can they be in business? I just cant believe it.

Resolved: Poor workmanship and no follow-up

Updated by user Sep 09, 2022

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with product or service ordered. Roof will be corrected by 09/12/2022.

Original review Sep 07, 2022
Nastar replaced my roof causing $2,800.00 damage during the process. House flooded during the roof installation. Final roof application is not acceptable. Roof is not level and has a giant dip in it which looks like a rotten piece of plywood. There is no quality control associated with this group. Do yourself a favor and avoid this group at all costs!!!

Seriously disappointed

The roof on my business was replaced after Irma, I've had numerous problems with very little concern from folks at Nastar. They have been unreliable and less than accommodating. Came into the office this morning and 2 brand new tiles were super wet, called to have them deal with it yet again and I was informed I shouldn't expect a call until MAYBE next week?

Very Sorry, Unprofessional Roofing Company!

These People sent over a crew of apparently undocumented Workers! They tore my Shingles off in short order! That was on Sept 18, 2020! Roofing Nails were left on my Pool Enclosure, a Nail penetrated my Shoe and another caused a Flat Tire on my Lawn Mower! On this date Oct 11, 2020, they have not Shingled our beautiful David Weekly Home in Cape Coral and I have told them over and over about my concerns! I do not understand how these People are allowed to solicit Work posing as a Contractor in Cape Coral and the State of Florida! I will be filing a Complaint with the State of Florida Licensing Board soon!

Do not use this company

signed a contract on 9/17/18 for work to begin in October.Everything started out great until they sent the one man roofing crew, who by the way proceeds to tell me that He's filed for disability after falling through a skylight in someones home. The craftsmanship was horrible and not up to code. They had to send a separate person to wrap the metal around my chimney, don't know why they didn't use the same person but I am glad because He did a great job and He also pointed out all the wrong doings the first person did and made me aware that it wouldn't pass inspection. He told me He would be back in a week upon fabricating the new material to meet the codes.Well it is the start of the 3rd week since, called my sales rep and office numerous times and still nothing.Long story short, save your money and time and find a reputable company.

Unhappy roofer

I am a journeyman roofer from California that went to Florida to do so work in the good sunny weather and worked for Nastar roofing with a partner roofer. We had done together about 26 houses the first month of working. We did good work for Mr.Scagggs but were having a problem with Nastar roofing getting the correct amount of material on about 15 of the roofs. We were being paid by piece work and since the shorting of material on that many roofs cost us more labor of which we were not paid for and felt like Nastar was responsible for the problem since they are the ones that figured how much material went on the roof. Well, we needed to mention this to Mr. Scagggs so after finishing another roof I made a call to Mr. Scagggs and told him of the situaton. Not long into the call Mr.Scagggs the owner of Nastar siad to me that he could get Mexicans that would do the work for $8.00 an hour and would not care or complain and that he could care less about how I felt and just told me he did not want me to work any more for him. Mr. Scaggs is not a man of honor and he could care less about anything except how he can make more money and if he could get Mexicans that would do it for a dollar a day he would do that. Let us Make America Great again by hiring roofing companies that practice true Amican values that treat all men fairly and equal. I am a true master roofer and to be treated like Mr.Scagggs did to me over something that if he would have taken control of in his company would not have made him a better roof but, would have made him and his company better.

Fraud someone should report them to be removed from the roofing

They told my friend they would do the roof for $12,000 but bill the mortgage company (that's holding the money) for 14,000 and give 2,000 to the home owner for deductible. The insurance had already taking the deductible out of the money that was sent to the home owner mortgage company. This is fraud. This nastar company should not be in business. My friend did not hire them and went with another roofing company. There turn over on workers are not good either. Please research who you hire before you get roof done. Just cause they have be in business for long time does not make them good.

Nastar Roofing

This company has no clue about roofing, I work for a company that they did a new roof for over $70,000. That would have been a reasonable price if we didn't end up with over 20 leaks, destroying our newly renovated building. They came back for over a year "fixing their mistakes and then finally they gave up on trying to fix the roof and even coming back at all. We call them *** Tar roofing , they won't even return phone calls or fix anything, how can these pieces of craptar be in business? Stay away from them!! They give a warrantee but don't stand behind it!!
