Billing

Unauthorized account opened in my name $149.50 charged to my account without my consent and basically told by a representative by the name of "Angel" that "I didn't remember opening an account" Unbelievable rude attitude! To even suggest that someone does not remember opening an account is so condescending that I can't believe this is how business is conducted in this two-bit company No business savvy, just no class

I have never heard of this company

I dont know who or how somebody took money out of my account. I have never heard of this company before in my life I am sooo pissed now you make my account overdrawn!!! Please return my money

Refund

Have not heard back from a billing rep was suppose to get in touch with me for my refund. Very slack and scamming people and not all information is accurate on this website people need to be wary and the number you try to get incontact with them says they are closed when trying to contact them.Not very professional help line.

Overcharging my account

They charged my account four times and changed another account linked to my first account when it wouldn't go through the first time and then kept changing it I'm now out over $300!!

They don't answer your emails , they don't give you updates , you call and all you get is pre-recorded bot. Spoke to a agent once and now nothing

I am calling for a refund

I still didn't get a refund I have been asking for a week. The support ignores me in email. Then I called directly and was told that my request was handed over to another department and I should get a call from them. BUT I didn't get any call so far.

Can't contact anyone

My kit and friend of mine got lost. We asked fot a new one I got a new 1 on my friends name and my adres. She didn't got any I can't normally contact you from the Netherlands I want this problem solved already Its almost bin 4 months

Truly disgusted with how I was not taken serious with my questions and how I was taken advantage of with additional charges for services I did not request.

I ordered a package kit at $39 and was charged $149 with a membership I did not ask for, and a recurring charge. I am wondering if anyone else has had this happened to them. I'm beginning to feel as if I had been scammed ...by design.

Unlawful payment taken from my bank account

MyHeritage tool a payment of 229.00 from my bank account without my consent. I have never given permission for my bank details to be saved by MyHeritage account. Adding my details to my account was done illegally by MyHerirage. I called to speak to someone from customer services numerous times however, no one ever answered, the line rang out. I emailed customer services 4 times and nobody answered any of my emails, until I made their 'illegal' actions public on this site

Subscriprion - refund requested 12 days ago

MyHeritage unlawfully took a subscription payment from my bank account in 1 July 23. I have emailed them 4 times asking for a refund, but to date they have not replied or refunded the money taken. I have called 6 times and have been unable to get anyone to answer the call either.

Resolved: Unauthorized credit card charges

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund. After posting this, I receved next day a refound invoice. After another few days the money were transfert back to my acount.

I have bought a DNA kit and a health report pack. On the same time, I have taken the one-month free trial subscription. Just before the end of the one-month trial period I canceled it, but I received a new offer with another two-month free trial. I accepted since my DNA analysis wasnt ready and I wanted to see what the benefits of this subscription are. Before the end of the second trial period, I concluded that personally I dont have any benefits from this subscription, and I tried to delete my card from there system. I could not locate my card and I supposed that was not stored into their system. I also forgot to cancel my subscription, but I was not very worried since I thought I will not be automatically charged. And then surprise! On June 16, 2023, I was charged 117.81 EUR for a period of 14 month (the 2-month trial plus a whole new year) Invoice Number: #2550****. I was not notified that my trial will expire, neither I thought I will be charged automatically since I couldnt locate my credit card. In consequence, I unsubscribed (late indeed) and I asked for a refund on their site. I was called by a lady that just quoted me a text and didnt solve my refund complain. She just offered me instead a free 6-month extension period after the end of the paid one. After the call, I verified on their site and surprise again: I had indeed a subscription of 18 month, like they promised me (12-month + 6 free month), but I was subscribed again. So, after these 18-month period they were able to charge me again. I obviously unsubscribed again and again I tried to locate my credit card on their site, but I had no success locating it. So, they have my personal data, and they can charge me anytime. Plus, I dont know if my data are secure in their system. It is a pity that a company that appears oriented to science and family, ends up charging a lot of money from decent people that didnt really want to buy more from them.

Tired of never getting a reply besides an automated "received email" etc

I have been a customer for many years and have the complete package which says I get priority when it comes to customer support, emails etc. Yeah right. Sent an email beginning of January, plus a follow up, and still no response. Have asked for a call back as well and still nothing. Getting more and more frustrated. Asked for a book to be downloaded of the site, and it makes no sense. Just a whole lot of nonsense.
