Default frame. Broke withi 24 hours of receiving them

I can understand that you can purchase insurance for replacement. But I received my 2nd pay and I had them less 24 hrs and went to put them on and the earpiece broke. The manager said i disavow insurance but if they broke less than 24 of receiving them they should have not broke. What can you do to rectify this? My number is 309-340-**** Heidi E(Chiavario) Payne

Bad service for your Riverside Office in Jacksonville Florida

I had glasses made and the didn't work to strong made my head hurt so the doctor told me he made a mistake which was fine we all human so when I went to the table to talk to the lady she tried to charge me after I wS told.it would be a swap she was real nasty to me snatched My folder wouldn'tw

Cannot reach anyone here or at my local office

Glasses

I purchased a pair of glasses April, 2023.It came loose July 19 2023.I took back on the 20th. I will address him as a black guy he was measuring the glasses then he inspect it.The first thing came out of his mouth was he would give me 50% off another pair I told him *** no. He took it to another black guy. This time the second guy says if I pay $29.00 I could get a 4 year protection plan because it can't be fixed. I when to Costco and they fix it. Costco, don't ask me any questions. With all due respect I will never go back to Myeye doctor, or recommend anyone to business with them.

Just Google recent reviews.

We have the first appointment of the day 9:00 am. After 45 minutes, we still have not been called back. Also, no explanation was provided when asked why the delay. Business has recently transferred ownership and the service is noticeably deteriorating. UPDATE 7/18/23 The office just called me threatening legal action for publishing the photo of employees in a public area. No apology, just more attitude, as described by many reviews below. They hung up on me when I tried to discuss my experience with them. Follow up to post below. We left after no explanation or apology. But After a quick virtual visit online, that Doctor called in a prescription within 5 minutes to our local pharmacy. At first I felt inconvenienced by thinking about finding a new practice after coming here for over 20 years. Now, with the current customer service and the convenience of telemedicine, I wouldnt be surprised if this management team doesnt make it here. I must say that Dr. Christensen is phenomenal. He has always been fantastic.

Horrible service, quality issues, and price increases

I ended up buying a new pair of glasses online with all the same lens upgrades and that COST 400 PERCENT LESS than what it would have cost to replace my lenses alone at myeyedr.

I have been buying prescription eyeglasses from MyEyeDr for years but I will NEVER go back due to the horrible service, quality issues, and price increases at their Waynesboro, PA location. When I got my latest prescription, I kept the frames I previously purchased at MyEyeDr and ordered the same lens features I normally get, including a scratch-resistant coating. With vision insurance, the Waynesboro office charged me $378 out of pocket just to replace my lenses. A couple months later, my glasses fell off the nightstand and were scratched from minimal impact. I took them to the Waynesboro office and asked a staff member if they could buff my lenses to minimize the scratches. She said no, my only option was to replace the lenses which would cost $666. The rep next to her told me I should have bought insurance for my glasses and they would have replaced them for free. She came across as cynical, telling me I would have been better off buying insurance for my glasses instead of paying for lens upgrades. No one mentioned insurance to me before. I explained that I chose to spend extra for scratch resistant lenses which should provide some type of coverage for scratches. Ive never had lenses scratch this easily before. THE KICKER IS I had to get new lenses and I didnt want to buy them from MyEyeDr considering the cost and poor quality. I needed to get my pupillary distance (PD) so I could buy prescription glasses online for a fraction of the price. The MyEyeDr rep refused to give me the PD measurements in my file! So I went to ForEyes, where they kindly took measurements and gave me my PD free. Then I bought a beautiful pair of new glasses online with progressive lenses and all the extra features for $123. So, I ended up buying a new pair of glasses online with all the same lens upgrades and that COST 400 PERCENT LESS than what MyEyeDr would have charged me to replace my lenses alone. I refuse to do business with people who are rude, greedy, and look out for themselves vs customers.

Having a problem with one of myeyedr location

I went here on March 24 they didn't follow up on my glasses with my insurance so they had to reorder my glasses. I finally received my glasses to find out that the front desk lady gave me the wrong frames. I picked out black frames but she gave me pink ones. And the best part is that no one knows what's going on with my new glasses when I called today May 19. If you were thinking about trying Willowbrook on 1960 location in Houston Texas please don't go else where.

Complaint

The doctor failed to was his hands after leaving the room and coming back several times into the room and physical readjusting my contact. My eye was extremely irritated went to another doctor same branch for him to tell me that my cornea was scratched and looked like there might be an infection as well. When I called the manager she told me to call corporate as there is nothing she can do and doesnt know exactly what happened after I explained this.

Damaged my lenses

I went in for an eye exam. Was only there to get a new prescription for my contacts. I wear glasses, but was not going to replace the lenses at this time as I wear progressive lenses and they are expensive. I asked to have my glasses adjusted. The girl did and handed them back to me. I put them on and everything was foggy and blurry. I figured they were just dirty. I got to my car, took them off and examined the lenses. They had a ton of scratches all over both lenses. I put them back on, but it was impossible to see through them. I told the front desk staff and they said have a seat and wait for a manager. I waited 45 minutes. She told me the lenses were melted and that caused lots of cracks in the lenses. I was forced to buy new lenses. She said a waiver should have been signed. I was not given a waiver. The girl didn't tell me she would be heating up my lenses. I never would have agreed to that. The best the manager could do was offer 40% off. My lenses are over $600. This was their mistake, and now I have to pay for something I didn't plan on purchasing. Further, a week later I got a call saying the lens tracing was wrong and I needed to come back and have it redone. Do not waste your time coming here. Very disappointed that my lenses were damaged, I was not told how they would be adjusting my glasses and I had to pay quite a bit of money for a product I did not need.

Failure to deliver glasses for ovrrr 6 months

I ordered safety glasses in November 2022, still today I have not received them. One excuse after another, no they are telling me I picked them up last month. Before that they couldn't find them. Before that no Idea, Before that they didn't have my debit card number, that's impossible, as I purchased a regular set at the same time. 7077 Normandy Blvd Ste 7, Jacksonville, FL 32205 store sucks.

Buyer beware

Ill start with the good, loved the doc, but it ends there. My order was to be ready a couple days ago. The 2nd pr didnt come in, so I waited, thinking Id go in and pick up both, after receiving a text stating my order was ready. Went in to pick up and the 2nd is still not here. Frames were back ordered. Was I contacted? Nope. Do I have a date theyll be in? Nope. They have my $$ & I dont have my whole order & no idea when I will. To make things worse, there is no customer service dept where you can talk to a real person. You have to send them a message on the website & they get back to you on their time. BUYER BEWARE!

Wrong prescription of glasses

Bought glasses last year. Paid $700. Still wore my old ones. Tried on my new ones could not see. Told the Doctor my prescription was fine at the examination last year. Brought them back at my yearly checkup and they refused to even talk about fixing them. This company cares about making money not about the paitent well being. They had my medical records ready to go when I came in. They were good with my not coming back. I had been going there 20 years. Myeyedr had bought out the practice a few years ago. If they cared at all and used common sense they would have tried to do something to fix it. They didnt nothing. I also had a small spot on my eyelid which I was told it was nothing to worry about. A few months later when it didnt go away I went to another doctor to have it removed. Turnout to be cancer.

Horrible issue with staff

There is a dispute in whether my bill was paid. I have proof positive that it was, but neither the staff at the facility in Palm Harbor, Fl will help me, nor will the billing department. The staff at the facility were actually rude and dismissive, refusing to even reveal their OWN name, or when the manager would be the the site. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Cancelled my appointment twice!

I was scheduled for an eye exam, verified via email and checked in, just to show up and find out they canceled my appointment and the people in front of me. The excuse was because I did not call them. However, I did call yesterday and also checked in with my email. I think they just wanted the day off. This is the second time they have done this! Worst place ever! Nothing but a bunch of lazy, snotty people there! Don't go, you will be disappointed at the least, or really be pissed off. Two years ago they did my glasses and I had to wait 8 weeks to get them because they forgot to send out the order, and when I got the glasses, they were poorly made and weak. I went to Eye Med and got better glasses. I should have gone back to Eye Med.Ticked off, Do not go there

Eye testing was ok. Got glasses over a week later than I was told. They came out and handed me my glasses and walked away. Before Grace Eye Clinic made sure of any adjustment fit to your face, etc.

I was shocked that there was no customer service when I picked up my prescription glasses. I will not go back. The previous owner of Grace Eye Clinic in Grand Prairie, TX had exceptionally good customer relations. Frances Paulette Jones

Poor Business Ethics/ Customer Service

This was a Very disappointing experience! The Dr. Murphy was wonderful, however afterwards, the customer service, lack of communication, & final outcome after a extended wait time for my glasses was horrible!! Not only did I have to call after 3 weeks without receiving an update like I was promised, my lenses were not done correctly and have to be shipped back to a Florida Lab to be remade due to the progressive lenses showing an unusual line. On top of that I was Not aware that this is an "Affiliated" VSP location and not a "Full In-Network" location until After I had my Eyes Examined for Glasses & Contacts! I had to pay out of pocket expenses without any of my VSP Benefits that I pay for in order to use them! On Top of Everything, I had to pay in full for the Contact Lense Exam before I could take the trial pairs home, once again without being able to use my benefits. Thankfully I had Eye Med But, it did not compare to the amount of benefits I would have received if I would have been able to use VSP here. As a consumer, I anticipate customer service to provide me with effective communication & understanding so that I have the opportunity to make a informed decision before making a purchase or doing business. Now I have to wait for the Remake of my Lenses again, Prayerfully not another 3 weeks Whenever I ask if there is any Priority that can be requested because of the Lab error and the extended wait I've had to endure this far, I'm told there is no way to request a priority, there is No Corporate Office, or Anyone else than the Local office that can handle this. I was further told "Patient Relations" can't assist me either. Next time I will do my research before I schedule any appointments with Mr.Eye Doctor "Affiliate " Locations.
