Service sucks

I was on hold FOREVER. You are a music store. The music played sounds like it was a transition point in some cheesy 80s *** video. Tons of music in this world can you play something soothing and better? ***

Never received product, Music and arts demanding payment

Music and Arts is a sham company. They charge your CC and or bank account and never deliver the items you agree to rent. I have been told 4 times that my account has a zero balance and each time, the next month, I get another bill from them. Total sham that has been reported to the BBB for the second timeD

Music and Arts owns Allora Musical Instruments

Absolutely no repair parts available for an Allora trumpet. Allora's website has a contact form. I've used three times, with no reply. I tried their warranty email address. It redirects to Music and Arts and says is undeliverable. I called Music and Arts customer service and got a woman who couldn't answer any questions but was willing to direct me to a local store. Shameful company who makes a buck and doesn't back it up. And their branded instruments, i.e., Allora is total junk. Avoid at all costs.

Bait and switch tactics

I am a band director who was purchasing a tenor saxophone for my personal use. The local representative, and the webmaster offer discounts to music educators. I went through the process of ordering on the website. Agreed to a price of around $3200, when I hit purchase my credit card was charged $4,400. Customer service was not able to honor original price. I canceled the order, but over a week later the charge is still on my credit card. I will make sure to never use this company again for either my personal use or for my schools use either.do

Billing

Cant get their billing together. I have two accounts for two kids and they try and charge old cards when new are on file and then tried to send to collections when they have the right info. Have to call ALOT to correct errors.

Customer service and lies

Your repair person broke my acoustic bass. Then tried to super glue it back together. The store manager gave me a great deal on a Fender replacement. Ill have it by March 31st. Sadly I for got to ask what year. I cant talk to an American on your 800 line and that is worthless. Yesterday I was told by YOUR FOREIGNER to give me a Visa number and I will get a refund by today. Yet another lie. I have to call 4 times yesterday because of being hung up on. Every store has this bass in stock but you. I even looked at keyboards. Not in stock. The entire crew of the store I use was released and a new bunch of people hired. No complaints against the manager. Please. He has been great. Just but what you owe me on a Visa so I can go to your sister store and buy it which again is what I was promised yesterday. order #SO02188****. Ive put up with enough from your company. Your repair shop started this by trying to remove a neck from a plastic bass!!! Completely cracking it. You have no inventory.

Still not one call back after three years of charging us for a child thats not ours! They have HORRIBLE Customer service. And this place is a joke!!!!

A really long delay in getting an order

I ordered something in November 2021 and received this email in mid December 2021: 1.00Roto-Grip Locking Rotomatic Tuners Item #116**** Billing Address 2 highwood road Canton, CT 06019 USA Shipping Address Music and Arts Avon CT #49 315 W Main St Avon, CT 06001**** USA So I wait and wait. I visit the store where it was ordered and I absolutely love working with the store manager and the employees, there. But after almost 2 months of waiting for something that is very available elsewhere, I call your customer service. Left a message to be called back and someone named "May" from the Philippines of course, called me. After lots of apologies and a promise to find out and get back to me, it didn't happen. It didn't happen when I ordered a Gretsch guitar and case last year, either. I got the guitar right away and it took Music and Arts between 4-5 months to get my case to me. Since I like working with the people at the store, I'll continue to shop there and will NEVER order anything ever again from your company. If I can SEE it, perhaps I'll buy it. I will suggest the same, to my musician friends.

Upset

I placed a complaint because the store had taken almost a month to install a thumb rest. I was never contacted back by customer service. One of the employees took my clarinet to the shop and got the thumb rest installed, but customer service never contacted me. So... Sad

Credit card charged when I have store credit.

I paid for four 60 minute in person lessons online. They require that you maintain a credit card on file. They were able to schedule 2 in person 30 minute lessons and 1 online 30 minute lesson. They wanted to charge my credit card, rather than apply the $ available. >(There is no way for a customer to view their balance online.) My minor child then went out of state for school. We told the store that we wanted to wait on scheduling more classes, as we wanted to avoid conflicts with her school's schedule. They charged us for a month of lessons in September, rather than applying our credit. They sent my minor child links for lessons neither she nor I had scheduled. The times were arbitrary. 10:30 AM on a school day, for example. And there are no refunds for cancelled lessons... Note 1: We had no problems renting an instrument. Note 2: We have had more than one instrument repair. The only problem was finding a time when the store was open. They're lackadaisical about abiding by the posted opening times. scheduled.d's schouse w, e did not lessons

Ordered a yamaha giutar, promised delivery in 4 to 5 days, my order was cancelled

Ordered Yamaha guitar on a Monday, was told i would receive it Friday or upcoming monday. Monday came and went and still no guitar. Stopped by another Music and Arts store in another town, he checked and said the order was cancelled by someone, not me. I followed up with the store i purchased the guitar from, they don't know what happened.
