Company didn't issue refund for dead chickens
I have a small hobby farm and we like to raise as much of our own food as possible. We found a heritage breed of chicken from a company named MT-DI Farms. We ordered chicks this year in two batches. When we placed the order we requested shipment on specific dates. With the second shipment, the company sent the chicks one week earlier than we agreed to. It was during a very hot stretch of weather and all but 3 chickens arrived dead (the order was for 75 chickens). When we contacted the company requesting a refund of $111, they were reluctant but finally agreed to send a refund. The refund never came, so I contacted them and they said they sent it but would send another check in it's place. It never came. I contacted the Better Business Bureau but they didn't do anything to follow-up. I am extremely disappointed in how this company conducted business and I would strongly sway anyone from doing business wit them.
