Total Scam!! STAY AWAY!

I wish we ready reviews beforehand. They took all my Dad's stuff, then called us and said the fees would be doubled because it was "double the cubic feet from the estimate." They demanded more cash with NO delivery date at all! Then I started reading reviews and everyone else had the same story! I called the Federal Dept of Transportation about them - they are a scam! Stay Away!

Wish I read reviews before hiring them!!!

I was thinking they were Gentle Giant calling when I picked up and went and signed and gave them my card info for their $640 deposit. I later learned it was Moving Giant who are horrible. The only legit person in the entire company was one of the movers that did the wrapping of my big items. The person that arranged the paperwork on moving day told me that his method would save me money - added on almost $1,600 in additional costs and that was without me shipping almost all of my large items. He originally asked me which items had to go, I pointed them all out and they kept loading boxes and again he would say it was getting close to my included amount, which items had to go, again I would tell him and he would then say it's going to be over so I removed the following items after him doing this about five times: My bed frame and headboard, chest, wall unit in my bedroom; my mother's bed, frame, headboard, dresser; my living room sectional sofa set; dining room table and chairs; and numerous boxes. They even left my large tv until I notice and told him that had to be shipped. The only large items I had shipped were my living room wall unit, bar and grandfather clock, and my mattress and box springs. The rest were just boxes of clothes and such. I even had my wall unit packed with pillows to cut down on space but they pulled them out (because they want to charge for every dime possible). Total cost - $4,836.04. I contacted the Better Business Bureau and they reached out to them but Moving Giant not only made no attempt to compromise, but are now requiring a down payment before delivering my goods and a couple of days ago they told me if I didn't pay the full amount ($450 now and balance of $1,000 on delivery) I would incur storage fees until I did so. Yet today they tell me the shipment hasn't arrived yet (today is 2/1/17 and they picked up on 1/12/17 from Boston to Las Vegas). Before "Kathryn" realized it was me she told me the full balance of $1,450.82 was due on delivery but then realized I had complained previously and changed it to $450.82 to be paid to their bank account immediately before they will even tell me when it'll be delivered. At this point I don't know what condition my items will be delivered in because they're requiring more up front then I was contractually liable for, probably because they know it'll be in a bad state so they want money first. Horrible scam of a company - stay away!!!

Two Thugs in a Truck

Don't call this company. Showed up 10 hours late. Threatened & bullied my daughter. Helped themselves to a $150 tip. Put everything in storage for over a month. Multiple items missing. Complete nightmare. Day after picking up my daughters items, they call me and demand that I deposit an additional $500 directly into their Bank of America account. The move cost twice the estimate. Igor the driver who stole the $150, had the nerve to text my daughter and threaten her for reporting the theft! How does a company like this continue to stay in business? I reported them to the BBB because they claimed to be BBB accredited. Thankfully I printed out everything they sent me, all of which had the BBB logo at the top. What we experienced was modern day extortion topped off with intimidation. Please help get them out of the moving business by not hiring them and continuing to post negative reviews.

HORRIBLE MOVING EXPERIENCE EVER

This company has made me not trust movers ever again. Starting off with the first set of movers they were rude, the main guy barely helped he smoked cigarettes majority of the time. They left our grill that was on the list to be moved he didnt want to come back to get it. Told me some stuff wasnt going to make it too Vegas from Milwaukee. And then had the audacity to ask for a tip for the helpers who was rude as *** and left tape rolls everywhere. The male rep on the phone lied about our things being delivered on a certain day. The delivery guy was the only helpful and nice one. He told us to take pictures of all our damaged stuff such as the boxes and our refridgerator that was not covered only taped. Once we opened all of our boxes majority of my glass collections and other glasses were broke. My African statutes were all broke and non replaceable. 3 of my kids boxes of clothes were not there at all and I was told by a female rep that it was a lost cause. My kids had no clothes only what we brought with us on the plane. Blankets and Sheets did not come as well. No to mention our bed frame had missing parts that we had to reorder. The delivery guys couldnt put it back together so we had to continue to sleep on air mattresses. Nobody seemed to have a care in the world about what happened. I took pictures of everything gave serial number to everything that was either damaged or missing. All to get a letter in the mail that I had to sign and pay to get notorized saying I agreed to the $66 payout after spending over $2000 from jump. Everything that was damaged and missing was well over $66. My mom bought my daughter a Frozen bed set along with pictures for her new room that was also in her box gone. (Somebody is happy for all of that I know) I just dont understand it people spend all that money to have a great move to being stressed out over it not going right at all. Then they say "ENJOY YOUR MOVE" B.S. not a good move at all when your things are not the way it was when you got it. People aay sue but whats the point, Ill spend more money doing that then them just paying me more than $66. I wouldnt go through MOVING GIANTS if it as the last moving company on earth. My kids were stressign and so were we. Spending more money than expected. Had we known this was going to happen then I would rented a UHaul for almost the same amount. $66 my butt and I still havent received that either.

Avoid this Company at all cost!

A single star is generous for this company and the only option. I would never recommend using this company for any reason. We have never dealt with such a poorly run organization and this entire move has been one problem after the other. The company severely underestimated our move costs and took over 3 days to get us out of the house. Their movers showed up late each day and one day had to work through the night to get the job done because they didn't even show up until 10pm. They demanded full payment for the additional monies we owed in order to finish packing which was 60% over what they quoted us. On the final truck load they still underestimated the space needed on the truck with only hours left to the settlement of our home. We had no choice but to give away many items they could not take. Upon delivery we have several damaged items along with many items that are beyond repair. In addition, we are missing many items some of which are irreplaceable. These items include a brand new leather sofa and a love seat, items you would think were hard to miss. We called the company about the missing items and they said they would contact us within 5 days if they were found. They said they found some of them and would be delivering them. When the truck arrived none of the items on the truck were ours. No follow up... no apologies and no path forward. Finally the driver that brought the original shipment admitted that he left some of our items (very large woodworking tool) with another customer. To date the company has made not effort to resolve any of the problems. There customer service has been rude and offensive. Avoid this company at all cost!!

Moving Giant - Moving Service Review from Culver City, California

As coordinated with a representative from Moving Giant, I had an ongoing written conversation through email regarding our pick-up and delivery dates, and other specifics pertaining to our move. I’ve asked specifically, if we wanted our items delivered by August 13th, when would have been the best day for pick-up; the representative stated July 31, 2016. As planned, my items were picked up on July 31st. It has been approximately six weeks since the pick-up and I still do not have my things. When I decided to proceed with this company as my movers for my move from the east coast to west coast, the representatives failed to inform us of the 21 day delivery window. The sales team sells you a dream, and cuts all contact with clients as soon as the contract is signed. This company states it's a possibility that it will take 21 days from your first delivery date. It is indeed not an estimate, but in fact, they take advantage of the full 21 days and more. Once the sale team has you locked in, they send you over to the rude shipping department with horrible customer service. I was threatened by one of their representatives in the shipping department when I expressed my concerns, then they responded that if I did not cooperate with them, they will deliberately push my items back further, and push out the “intended” delivery date. I highly recommend staying far away from this company. It is worth investing more money with another company that offers you a better and reliable service.

SOMEONE NEEDS TO SHUT THIS COMPANY DOWN

Moving Giant is completely fraudulent and should be shut down. Here is a summary of my experience: I was moving from Boston to Los Angeles. I filled out an online moving quote form and received calls from at least 20 moving companies in one day looking for my business, all offering various quotes based on cubic feet I would take up on the truck. Lola from moving giant called me and we spoke at length. She was very sweet and professional and I went with moving giant based solely on her seeming professionalism. Huge mistake. The strategy of the company must be to lure you based on the guise of professionalism at the other end of the phone at the time of booking. On the day of my move, two Russian men showed up at my doorstep in an enterprise rental van. I had been quoted $1800 for the move and an extra $75 dollars for an extra flight of stairs. This was based on a meticulous inventory I had filled out and painstakingly stuck to. When the men came in, they took one look around and let out a big sigh and said 'hey man I'm going to try to help you out here but this is going to cost at least $4500 based on my 'visual estimate'. Note that I had stuck to my inventory meticulously and was actually under what was on my list. They then proceeded to literally HAGGLE me down for about an hour and a half, without lifting of moving anything. Then, when I finally managed to get them down price wise, they asked if I had a printer to print out 'the new' contract for me to sign before they started moving anything. No I don't have a printer!!! All my stuff is packed up!! They showed up with another contract assuming they would get me to agree to the crazy inflated price that was more than double!! So then they asked if my neighbors had a printer - or if there was a kinkos around. Because he didn't want to move the moving van, I ended up going to my office to print out the contract. With a break in the situation, I reflected on how poorly the entire experience had been and decided to ask the guys to leave when I got back to my house. They begged me to keep their business, and put me on the phone with a 'manager' who would not give me her last name and gave me her email as 'sales@***.com'. Oh, and top it all off, despite the fact that Lola had insisted I could use a credit card, they only take CASH or Money Order - how sketchy!! Only a company with awful business practices wouldn't accept credit cards for such large purchases. This is a company that can't be trusted. CANT BE TRUSTED. Don't be fooled.

DAYLIGHT Robbery; COMPLETE FRAUD; THIS IS A SCAM COMPANY; EXTREMELY RUDE AND THREATENING MOVERS PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU WANT TO AVOID BEING VULNERABLE IN THESE MOVERS HANDS. THEY WILL R

1. We were OVERCHARGED by $500 above the price we were guaranteed by Moving Giant (movers). Based on our move details (such as our receiving apt location, goods shipped etc.) that Moving Giant gathered we were guaranteed a price of $1,259. (A) The mover called just half a day prior to the delivery day and DEMANDED that we pay $300 in additional charges. When we asked what the $300 of additional charge was, he said this is towards shuttle service for moving the goods from original truck to a different one. When we tried to explain that this is not our responsibility to pay for the additional shuttle service since we already are paying for the truck and move (and was agreed to before signed the contract), he was very rude and "threatened" that our goods will not be delivered unless we pay for it. It was clear that the movers were taking advantage and holding us hostages to the situation since the goods were in their possession. In SHEER HELPLESSNESS we agreed to pay to the additional $300 that the mover demanded. We also called Moving Giant right away, however the personnel there were EXTREMELY RUDE and would not listen to our grievance. We again strongly feel we were held hostages since our goods were in their (moving company's) hands and made us very vulnerable. (B) Then again the day goods were brought for delivery to our apartment Building, the mover came into our Apartment and DEMANDED an ADDITIONAL $200 on the top of the top of $300 stated in (A) above. He said that he was charging this additional $200 for bringing the goods into our apartment. It should be noted that we live on the ground level and a very short stride from where the truck was parked. IN ANY EVENT, the moving charges were already included in the price given to us ($1,259), so this additional charge demanded by the mover was one another instance where he was exploiting the situation and holding us hostage since the goods were still in his possession. He again threatened that the goods will be taken away (not delivered) if we did not pay this additional $200. Again we were left very vulnerable to the situation since the goods were in movers possession and again out of SHEER HELPLESSNESS agreed to pay an additional $200 on the top of $300 stated in (A) above. As we were trying to arrange this additional money, the mover banged on our bedroom demanding that we pay the money immediately else he will charge MORE MONEY for WAITING. This happened barely within a minute of us trying to get this additional money which had already taken us by surprise. (C) After we made the payment of $1,759 ($1,259 + $500 of overcharge), we received a payment invoice of just $1,259 by email from Moving Giant the next day when it should have been for $1,759. The payment invoice did NOT include the additional $500 that we had paid to the mover. This clearly shows that the $500 they charged us was a scam and pocketed without accounting for in the invoice paid. We tried calling Moving Giant, but again the personnel there was very rude and hung up the phone very rudely on us. (2) In addition to the financial loss that we incurred through over charges of $500 we were left to go through lot of inconveniences since we had to deal with EXTREMELY RUDE, DISCOURTEOUS and very THREATENING movers who took advantage of the situation since our goods were in their possession. We would at a minimum like the overcharges of $500 be returned to us. We also hope that appropriate personnel will take this complaint seriously.

Terrible

This was my first experience with a moving company and will likely be the last for the following reasons: (1) When I made my initial inquiry and set up a moving date. I was told by the associate, that our belongings would arrive within 2-3 days of our pick up date which was completely false. (2) The estimate I was given was far from what we would actually be charged. We ended up paying double the amount of our initial quote. (3) On the date of our pick up, the driver was over 8 hours late. (4) I received an email shortly after our pick up date to submit forms and to log in online to track our shipment. I completed the form multiple times and never received any notification from the online system regarding the status of our delivery. In addition, I called Moving Giants multiple times to inquire of this information and NO ONE was able to give me any information as they responded that deliveries were covered by a different department for which they did not have a direct number for. (5) When we finally received our delivery, we were asked to pay additional money. We had already paid in full at the time of pick up, and despite the fact that we paid double the initial quote, our delivery men felt the need to ask for additional funds in cash because the distance was too far to walk. Mind you, from the front door of our building to the elevator is only 20 steps and from the elevator to our unit it's only 15 steps. (Yes, I counted and double checked this). They refused to start deliver until I went to the ATM and got them cash (6) Multiple items were broken despite the fact that we packed everything in large bins and bubble wrapped each item. (7) Lastly, to add insult to injury my fiance's snowboard, snow boots, snowboard bindings, and records were not delivered. The equipment specified above total over $1000 and the records are priceless as this was one of the last mementos my fiance has of his deceased father. This was an absolute horrible experience and a horrific representation of professionalism. There was no care taken for our belongings and we feel we were essentially swindled and given subpar service.

Moving Giant moving experience

I had the same horrible experience as others' negative experiences. Sales rep lied about the actual price as the trucker doubled the price and threatened to keep the loaded goods, the sales rep. is blocked from the customer once the delivery is occurring and then have to call company which only has taped voice message prompts. Very occasionally, one person will answer one of the prompts and provide curt and limited info. Sales person also lied about the delivery time saying that it was a common truck route and that my belongings would probably be delivered within 5 day (it took almost a month!), no advanced notice when truck was finally dispatched despite 4 requests, and only received notice by the trucker hours before his arrival; and, he threatened to keep my belongings if I could not get someone to the home when he arrived. Many damaged and missing items. Company does not care to provide honesty and quality customer service, and even delegated all complaints or attempts to return missing items, to a "claims" service to handle all such matters; and they require a long formal process including providing evidence of the consumer's "claims". I have never experienced anything like this before. It must be run by the mafia. I will be filing various complaints with the AG office, BBB, and others.

Moving Giant Moving Service Review from Wellesley Hills, Massachusetts

Moving giant is the worst moving experience I have ever had. I have moved 9 times and this experience has been the worst ever. When they came in to pick up our stuff, they charged us twice the amount of the quote that they initially presented. And they wanted us to pay half of that upfront or else they won't take out stuff. They said we had to pay the other half as cash on delivery. But in the fine print of the contract they added a line stating that they could ask for the money any time before delivery. We were on a road trip to our destination, when they emailed us that we have to do a direct deposit of the residual money or else they would not deliver our stuff on time. We had to search for a bank in the middle of nowhere, during our drive, so we could have our stuff delivered soon as we reached our destination. In spite of having made the deposit on time, we still haven't received our stuff. It is four days past our delivery date. When we call customer service, no one has any clue about where our stuff is or how do we track it. Customer service is terrible. All they want is money and done care about the customer at all. Worst ever!

Moving Giant will rob you and treat you like an *** - you need to read this

So here is how this moving nightmare goes with Moving Giant: A person calls you and asks you to tell them all the items you have to move - of course you cant list everything - no one comes to your house to estimate it - they provide you with a low ball dollar number to move your house hold items - normally lower than anyone else. The movers show up with no uniforms - rental trucks like Budget and Enterprise and they start wrapping and boxing your items immediately. The moving supervisor explains and shows you that you bought so much space in the truck which they stretch a budgie could on so you know when you get to your contacted space. If you pass it, which you will it is a ridicules price but not to worry they will assure you they will pack it in, tight so you don’t exceed. So you know how that plays out you will exceed the contracted space because no one came to your house to see what you had to load. So now a move that was $11,000.00 will move to $14,000.00. Now the I'm getting ripped off feeling sets in you start with the sales person in my case Tom Murphy who you no longer can speak to - that is right you will be blocked even though Tom said they will send a truck out and your going to fill the truck and there will be no extra costs - well guess what Tom is the first one to lie to you in the Moving Giant world with many insults to still come your way and don’t forget your paying them to insult you - these employees should be ashamed of themselves to take employment with such a company who exists on exploiting families at a stressful moment as they relocate. So they divert you to the sales Manager who you speak to who sounds like they are baking a cake in their kitchen and not in an office but assure you she will discuss it with Eric the dispatch supervisor in Chicago. Calls you back hours later as they continue to load the truck past your contracted space. Eric is the dispatch supervisor is of no help at all and will repeat himself over and over like a parrot about you only bought so much space and it will cost you or we will have to leave all other items at your house and I will have my crew leave immediately - very ignorant person whom I hope his family experiences this type of treatment from people just like him for the rest of his life - the kind of person that would read this and laugh at it - but you know how life works people like this live a long life and continue to make people suffer as a result of his lack of any empathy for human kind or your family. I'm sure he prays every weekend - you know the type. So it goes on right - this awesome company Moving Giant then cant load all your belongings and customer oriented Eric tells you we will send another truck in two days because our two rental trucks are full even though Eric Murphy told you or lead you to believe the lie it would be a tractor trailer that will move you is full. Now people are moving in that bought your house so the position you are in is rent a truck and drive from Michigan to Florida and load it all yourself and of course unload it into storage. So now your ready for delivery of your items to your house - here is the great part about this awful company in their contract - we have 21 days from the day you need your items to deliver it - WOW are you kidding - missed that in the contract I don’t want you to in the contact - so lets lay this out if I say I need my items by the first of the month I may not get it until the 22nd of the month - totally awesome approach to a moving family - we can sleep on the ground until then - no worries - the owner of this horrid company should sleep on a rug for 21 days - would not enjoy it. What a horrible company this is. You will not be able to speak to anyone but parrots repeating the same things over and over again we have 21 days and can only tell you that the driver will call you when they are on their way - be ready to drop everything when the driver who more than likely is a *** calls you so they can have dudes with neck tats unload your precious home. What horrible companies we need to put them out of business do not use them they will disrespect you and your family whom they could care less about as long as they are being paid at your expense. Shut them down including the horrible employees that take employment from a disrespectful company. If you were descent people you would help put them out of business so other families are not hurt. If you are the *** owners we all hope you and your children are treated like this.

MovingGiant- Two Thugs in a Truck

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT CONTACT THIS COMPANY!!! They arrived at my daughters’ apartment 10 hours late wearing tee shirts and flip flops. Igor, the driver and the person in charge, determined that she had way more items and the move was now going to cost 58% more than the estimate. He demanded that she go to the ATM and get him more cash. Given the late hour (it was after 10:00 pm), she refused. Igor was intimidating and threatening, forcing my daughter to sign blank papers. I was sent a new invoice the following morning demanding that cash be deposited into MovingGiant’s Bank of America account. When the new invoice was sent, Igor had reported that my daughter had only given him $600--when in fact she gave him $747 (we had bank documents proving how much money she had taken out of her account). Seems liked he helped himself to a $147 tip. Threatening a young girl and stealing her deposit money and then demanding cash deposits-- totally unprofessional. They wanted us to pay for the entire move upfront (which is at the very bottom of the contract in very small letters) but given Igor's theft of the deposit they agreed to a money order upon delivery. To top everything off, it took almost a month for her items to get delivered and a few of her things didn't make it to her new place. This company needs to be investigated and stopped. We are in the process of notifying the proper authorities. Terrible experience. Igor had the nerve to text my daughter after the theft of her deposit was discovered and he gave her a hard time for reporting him. She is now terrified that this guy might come after her. Run in the opposite direction. DON’T DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!

Move from ***

How do I put into word my disappointment with Moving Giant, My nightmare started on May the 24th when the movers arrive to load my Items? At that time I we informed my load was bigger then estimated no surprise but my cost doubled, The head of the team said I could still go with someone else yea right four day before I move from Indiana to Florida. So I took the hit. As they started to load my Items I offered to let us the dolly I was sending on the truck that was clearly marked as mine and so they did. Right before they left I inform them that every thing would be going into storage and would call when I was ready to take delivery at my Apartment. Once I arrived In Florida I found out the palace we were to move in was nowhere near ready I had to quickly look for a palace to move into. Luck for me my daughters live here and I could stay with them till I found me a home. Once I found a home called the mover to deliver and set the date I wanted a week out. Once I was in the date I set had passed and I hadn’t received call with date or time of delivery. Now the real works begin call after call and no call back. So I contacted customer service in an email and was informed I need to fill out a request form online. Did this four times and still no call. Called back was told I need to fill out form on line I let them know I did it four times That’s when they looked up my account to tell me my stuff was in New Hampshire WHY? Cause that’s where they have storage. I was told they have storage all over the US so why would you store my stuff there when I moved to Florida. Well took a week to get a call it was on it’s way yes ! The truck arrive but it was too massive to pull into the area I moved into so the need to put it into a smaller truck for $475 I told them to just put it on the curb but they couldn’t cause they were blocking traffic so I had to go rent a small truck and meet them some where they could unload so they left to make another delivery and came back 4 hours late. As they were unloading and loading into smaller truck I notice that 2 of my chairs had broken legs and my dolly was missing. Was told to fill out form online and would be reimbursed. Well just took a look at the form . They want you to have receipt for the Items (which I had for 6 year) how hang on to receipt for that long , you need to have the broken Item so the can pick it up for there salvage, pictures, did you or did they wrap it, FORGET it. Done but PLEASE,PLEASE don’t use this company

Review in Transportation and Storage category from Denver, Colorado

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!! This was the worse experience I'VE ever had and I've moved 6 time in the past 3 year (4 of the times with professional moving companies). I originally recieved a quote of $2500 to move from Chicago to Denver. The day of the move the movers showed up in a Budget rental truck. The mover explained that I was qouted for cubic space, by the time the finished loading my belongings my price jumped up $1500!?!?! And the mover never offered to show me how my belongings were packed (I am a single woman-- I am positive they took advantage of me!) I had no choice but to pay the difference because I had to report for my job in a week. When the movers made it to Colorado they delivered my belongings in a semi truck (which I am positive I did not take up as much space as they charged me for) and besides that what happened to the budget rental truck!?? The day of the delivery was aweful! The mover didn't speak English, however he managed to tell me that the walk was too long so it would be an additional $250!?!???? He refused to drive his truck into the compelex so the walk wouldn't be as long (what a scam!!!) I had a cashiers check and gave him $200 in cash-- but he told me my check was NO GOOD. It had to be cash or money order. So my best friend went to the bank and made a money order of a $1000 (which included the additional $250 for the "long walk") the mover refused to unload my belongings until she got there and even threatened to take my stuff to storage because he had to wait. When she got there I gave him the money order and he REFUSED to give me my $200 cash back!?!? He said "that is MY MONEY!" Again what a scam!! Well the day got worst! The two men unloaded my stuff and literally threw my boxes in my apartment. They didn't put down a carpet to protect the carpet or hardwood floors, they didn't wear shoe covers to prevent stains on my new carpet. On top of that, half of my boxes were crushed, broken, upside down and torn!! They cracked my coffee table, dropped my tv, ripped my couch, scratched my book shelf, dented my trash cans, scratched my head board. As well as REFUSED to put my bed together even though they disassembled it-- therefore the headboard fell and broke!! In addition, I paid $100 to have my tvs professionally crated and they REFUSED to unpack them - but did, however left all the boxes and trash in my room. This was the most unprofessional company I have EVER USED! Do not give them your business-- they do not deserve it!!!! My moved ended up costing me over $4k! And every thing they touched was damaged. Unprofessional, rude and a compete SCAM!!! They don't even deserve a star rating!

DO NOT book with Moving Giant! Terrible experience!

Things seemed to be going well with this company UNTIL it did not get delivered for soooo long. From the start, I was told that it would take 3 to 7 days for my things to be delievered to the destination. Then when the movers came, they said it will most likely take 5 days. I was told I would received a phone call at least 25 hours before delivery, so on Day 6 when I still had not received a phone call or any updates, I became worried. I directly called the sales guy I booked with countless times, leaving countless voicemails -- not once did he call me back. I sent numerous emails asked for someone to call me. I have STILL not received any phone calls. When I finally received an email DAYS later, it was just an automated/copy and pasted email showing me how to fill out a form to track my delivery. I followed the steps and did that. By the way, this is all being done on DAY 9 -- still hearing NO update on when my things will be delivered. After filling out the tracking form online, it directed me to a page saying that I will hear back about the tracking in THREE business days. So I have to wait until DAY 12 to even get tracking info, even though my stuff was supposed to be here on DAY 5?? Ridiculous!!! Then I submitted a complaint on the website. I received an email back saying that my stuff is still waiting to be loaded onto a truck! So absurd!!! They also say in the email that my things can take up to 21 days to get to me. What kind of company tell you 3 to 7 days (but "most likely 5") and then turns it around and says 21 days? I just started a new job across the country and I have been sleeping on the floor for the past week. Moving Giant should be paying for me to stay in hotels and I should receive a large discount on this move. I cannot believe you run your company this way! So then I finally got the sales rep and the customer service manager on the phone. They are very rude to me and not helpful at all! The sales guy, Pete Morgan, is still standing by the 3 to 7 days, but now he is adding the words "on average," which he did not say before. He went to transfer me to dispatch (after I asked over 20 times through calls, voicemails, and emails) and when he thought he had me off the line, he began screaming and swearing. Once he realized I could hear all of these horrid things he was saying about me, he hung up on me. No transfer to dispatch! I called back and he told me I'm being a "thorn in his side" even though he is the one who hung up on me. Then he said he was transferring me to dispatch (again), but instead he sent me straight to an operator. These people are ZERO help. They're liars and they're unreliable. DO NOT book with them. You will regret it!!!
