Dissatisfied with responding to my question's?

I have hired Morgan & Morgan in the past and was very happy with how everything went process wise, I have always referred them to anyone who asked about needing a lawyer. My daughter (20) was in a car accident in April 2023, we called Morgan & Morgan from the hospital, since that day, she hasn't had her attorney speak to her, he never returns any phone calls when she calls with questions or concerns, she hears more about her case from physical therapy then she does from her supposed attorney? The way they are handling the clients is just wrong, and very confusing to my daughter that she can't even speak to her attorney when she has questions, but the attorney will surely get paid regardless how he treats her! Have you become so high up there that your clients don't matter anymore? You say "for the people", but it seems like for the attorney's, and the *** with how you treat your clients? Not the Morgan & Morgan that handled my case in 2006? I would of went with a different lawyer in 2023 had I known she be treated like a nobody, with a firm that never calls her back, not one time has anyone even answered one of her many questions or mine for that matter? She's a 20 yr old child, who was scared, and confused, and I reached out to you only to be let down! Thanks for letting me down I certainly won't recommend you anymore after this experience

A lawyer who should be in our place suffering like us.mark smith unreliable

No response of any kind of knowledge of what's going on,when things should be over. If he says when we should get the payment it never comes. We know nothing positive. Can't count on his word. Never any positive response,if he does it NEVER happens.

Morgan and Morgan HAS TO DO BETTER

As a previous client, I had a Lawyer by the name of Corey Aiken. As I read many reviews with different lawyers, I see the same pattern. My lawyer did not fight for my case and was highly recommended to settle. I was hit by a Semi truck and my back and neck have been injured. I advised him that I was hurting, and I wasn't happy with the settlement however I feel like I was forced to settle because my lawyer wasn't confident to go to trial. This after I asked him was he confident. It seems like Morgan and Morgan is out to just settle cases so they can say they got clients' money however they aren't fighting for their clients because by settling they still get paid without putting in any work. However, if a client doesn't settle, they actually have to so work and fight. This is a major issue and Morgan and Morgan needs to be held accountable. A lawyer's job is to fight for the best interest of their client.

Not like TV Lawyers

Great case manager, legal secretary, paralegal, but when I asked them, "Does my attorney know what he's doing? He seems to be a bull$#!tter?" the demure, self-protective response was "Yes, he's qualified." Events proved otherwise. First bad sign: he's reading his email during the first deposition, paying little attention to what's going on. A question arises, since M&M Disability got me Social Security Disability in a slam dunk, "Are you saying you were disabled by this injury?" Attorney, caught reading his email, says nothing in response. Afterward he says, "It went fine." He left an underling to handle the subsequent hearings, so now he's really out of the loop and barely paying attention. One would think the bar for cognitive ability of a personal injury attorney would include a fair grasp of medical terms and logical thought processes around presenting the injury to the arbitrator so he wouldn't just listen to the defense's disputations. "You have over 70 pages of medical records," he said, the night before the arbitration hearing, five years into the case, "so I'm going to give the arbitrator some crumbs of information and let him pore over the records and come to his conclusion." Participating in this from the standpoint of a brain-injured party to a personal injury case, I was presuming my attorney with the slick silk suit and the assertion that he's the top performer in the office and it wins him a trip to Hawaii, was making an excellent judgment call on my behalf. He gave off the aura of having some sort of tactical sense. I shouldn't have taken that as proof he could perform against opposition. He let his pride in his performance cloud his judgment of what he could make the arbitrator do. I should have remembered how he said to me, after he sent me across the state for a specialized MRI and the radiologist's report came back, "I have no idea what the *** this means." I felt a little twinge of concern that he wasn't putting in any time to understand the case, and was just marking time until the insurance companies were willing to sit down in fear of M&M. The day of the arbitration came, and my attorney spent his/my 20 minutes in front of the retired judge referring closely to his notes, reciting arcane medical terms at a pace you'd hear in an advertisement when they're paying by the minute. No explanation of how this is relevant, or how any of this proves the injury for which he's making a request of several times the policy limit. You could say his argument was infected with cognitive errors. He then left the next 20 minutes for the defense to point out that he hadn't proven a thing. The arbitrator had the time between just before Christmas and first week in the new year to come up with a judgment. Do you think he wanted to spend that time, when he could be spending it with family, sitting for hours, rummaging through my records to find the case my attorney neglected to make? All my attorney could say when the judgment came down was "I'm f*@Ked." No sir, I'm the one who is f*@ked. "He usually gives me what I ask," my Morgan and Morgan attorney explained, as a justification for the squib outcome. I had thought, seeing all the TV advertisements, that I was getting the most qualified team for my serious, life-impacting injury. After the judgment was given, the accounting statement showed my tiny proportion of the settlement. "It's standard procedure," he explained, that they squander a bunch of my future settlement on "experts" whose expertise they didn't use to argue my case. The arbitrator determined that I had failed to prove my injury. If I had known it was my responsibility to prove the case, and not my attorney's, I would have hired somebody to teach him what to say in front of the arbitrator. Lesson learned. Don't expect the attorney to behave like he's in a legal procedural on streaming service or TV. The people in the TV ads are actors, not happy clients. Tip for consumers: Look elsewhere. The huge number of attorneys in the firm only improves your chances of getting a loser. Nobody to watch them all bumble. Try someplace where there are two or three attorneys.

False advertisement/dissatisfaction with service

StaThis has been such a complete waste of time it has been over a year since anything has happened with my claim. Every time I call I am either being hung up on or dealing with rude agents that answer the phone. I have two cases that I have yet to hear anything close to a resolution with and I have supposedly a case manager that every time he calls me I can never get back straight in contact with him. This firm is literally like cat and mouse and Im not happy here.

Not for the people

Had a case review, my husband had neck surgery and the doctor messed it up crushing his disks. Now no surgery can fix it and for the rest of his life he will have to suffer on medication. The case reviewer kept asking if it was a car accident but because it wasn't she said they didn't want the case. I guess they just want to chase ambulance's and deal with insurance claims and not help people who really need them. She said she would send some information about calling the medical board and some names of other attorney's that would be interested in the case but didn't even do that after I gave her my information. They just want easy money case's because everyone has car insurance they can sue.

On July 3 2023 I called morgan&morgan about the camp lejune case

I was at camp lejune in the spring of 1966. I have advanced head& neck cancer. The law firm stated that this was out of their expertise and wouldnt take my case. They never even let me talk to a lawyer. What kind of law firm is this(only take the sure thing)? I have nothing but respect for John Morgan. Thats why I called his firm. I trusted them. I wonder if the Morgan family knows how some of their employees treat potential clients.

Lack of communication by Morgan and Morgan on the status of our case

My boyfriend contacted Morgan and Morgan 2 months ago. They called us back within one day and told us they would not take our case. I received an email from Jonathan arndt on May 19. Claiming that they were gathering evidence on his case and to feel free to contact him. We have tried several times and left voicemails and also emailed him. We never got any response back. We don't know if they are taking the case. They are very unprofessional. I just want to know what's going on and have information that they need on my case.

Workman's Comp. Injury

Morgan & Morgan took my case, at least one of their attys. did, and they strung me along for 7-8 months telling me they were working on my case. In the 7-8 months I only talked to my atty. 2 times regard.ess of how many emails I sent or messages I sent wanting to hear any updates on my case. The reason I never could get ahold of him is because he wasn't doing anything, I mean nothing on my case!! But when I sent him the email firing him and Morgan & Morgan all of a sudden he replies to me about a telephonic appearance I needed to attend so he could get off my case! He never asked why I was firing him because he already knew that he wasn't doing anything!! For the record, gotta real lawyer now and even a representative from the state told me I had a case and it should of already been dealt with. Because of Morgan & Morgan I've been off work with no pay all this time, have been hurting from my injury all this time, my employer cut my health insurance off and I guess they terminated me during this time I've been dealing with workman's comp trying to have my injury treated, which is having surgery, but hasn't happened yet because the law firm who is suppose to be "For the People" has played me along for 7-8 months by not doing anything on my workman's comp case! STAY AWAY should be their motto not For the People!

Do not hire them!

Updated by user May 08, 2023
I found another law firm to represent me.

Original review May 08, 2023
I had a personal injury case I wanted them to handle and after 9 months I had to fire them. I requested a phone call with the attorney that was assigned to my case and when we got on the phone they really didn't know anything about my case. The reason for my urgency was I had a statutory deadline to file the case and had no confidence my attorney was willing to do that for me. My feelings were that the attorney just wanted me to accept a low ball offer from an insurance company, and if I didn't, they would drop me as a client.

2/5

Worst Intake Experience I've Ever Had

Morgan and Morgan asked me to sign a retainer agreement before even informing me about the nature of the mass tort claim they advertised representation for. They can't even tell me if Morgan and Morgan is the primary counsel on the case, where the case jurisdiction is, or anything else remotely related to the action. I was told that AFTER I've signed and returned the representation agreement I could ask to speak to a lawyer ABOUT THE AGREEMENT ONLY and not the case itself. No corporate contact phone s available for complaints. Calling any of their phone numbers connect to the same call center where the best the call taker can do is fill out a form. Worst customer service I've ever had from a supposedly "professional" firm. I would NOT recommend.

Not good

Don't waste your time with them. They may brag that they're the biggest lawfirm, but they might be too big, so you'll fall through the cracks so to speak. They don't answer your calls. When you leave a message you barely get a return call in a timely manner. I call, leave message, wait 3 days, call again... after about 4 times of this cycle, I might get a call. All in all, you're basically handling your case on your own. For your own piece of mind, choose someone else.
