Oil change steeling

I had service with them for a while, but lately I noticed that my car burning oil a lot and after a few days from changing the oil I have to add more oil.a friend of mine has the same issue to, and he got service at the same place. We figured out that they don't put enough oil when they changed, and they steel oil and changed us for more will never work with more muffler in Pawtucket RI Newport Ave.

I had a flat and called numerous places and Monro got me right in, excellent service at the Franklin NH location, I will definately go there again.I would reccomend

Brake service

I always take my car to the Monroe on Main Street in williamsville. They always take me right away and do a great job , would highly recommend . Jim is always friendly and helpful!

Not satisfied with oil chg

Came in for an oil change on Aug. 12th. Called and made an appt the week before. Told them we had synthetic oil and the model and make of the vehicle. We waited an hour and a half for the filter which was ordered from not even 2 miles down the road. That filter should have been here ahead of time. We are repeat customers. Complaint/credit

I had taken my F150 into the Kettering Monroe Brakes. The mechanic was acting very funny, making mistakes. Was unprofessional and caused me to miss a day at my work, and be late a second day. Said issue would take a few hours. Ordered wrong part. But then was the right part a day later. Was looking at it backwards. He seemed to be on drugs. Few weeks later I started hearing the same issue that I spent almost $700 and two days of work, when said would be fixed that same day. I was wrote up at work because of there unprofessionalism. Want a refund, and they won’t offer it.

Don't answer phones

Tried calling a local Monro branch on University Ave. In Rochester four times and let it ring for at least 12 to 15 times, they never picked up. Went to another service station. Got great service.

Poor brake service

Went to them with a brake problem rear wheel getting very hot more then the other three, they never took the wheel off just said it turns so its ok When I got home its was smoking hot, I will never go to that place again

Rip off

I have been going to shop 165, in Wilkes Barre PA for years. Today I went for an oil change, full synthetic I was told was needed, ok I thought first oil change with new Jeep. When I remembered I had a fog light out. I ask Joe Reilly to have tech change it, Joe quoted me $12.00 for the fog light as I sat and waited, thinking my bill would be roughly $75.00, then billed me $58.99 for a fog light. Told me he never said $12, and got snippy with me. As if I pulled the number out of thin air, he was gracious enough to tell me, he didn’t charge me to put bulb in. When I googled the fog light at max it was $19 at Autozone, which makes sense at cost for them $12. Needless to say you lost my business and I can’t believe what a price gouge the company pulled. And that he told me one thing and charged double, if not more then that. CON ARTISTS stay away!

Ripped off on labor

I went to the Monroe muffler shop in West Mifflin pa to have a muffler changed I had a muffler all they had to do was change it out , an hour 2 at the most,4hours later $286 dollars later I got my truck back ,parts they used was like $28 dollars, screwed me absolutely never would I give or recommend any business to monroe

Monro trashed my car

I went in for an oil change and discovered an oil leak a short time later. The Monro technician had just finger tightened the oil plug! I tightened it securely and a short time later the oil filter fell out of the car while I was driving, destroying the engine of my car. This is a crooked clip joint of a business that preys on people that are poor suckers like me. Stay the *** away from this predatory nightmare. They trashed my car and all I did was go in for a lousy oil change.

Customer service

I have been using your company for my service for almost 10 years the manager that you have right now in Garfield on Northfield he his customer service is horrible . I will no longer come here. I will find another company and be loyal to them. He’ s arragent,and nasty his people skills are nonexistent. I am a senior woman on a limited income and he said you can do it like my company said or I don’t care . Maybe you need to require some one on one classes. Thank you I’m done I don’t think I’m the only person he’s run away either.

SCAM, Fraud, Deceptive Business Practices

BEWARE – SCAM, Fraud, Deception and Careless Business Practices. I made the horrible mistake of taking my vehicle to Monro Store # 462 in North Olmsted, Ohio for suspension repair and an oil change. I asked the store manager for good quality shocks to be installed. Instead, Monro installed the cheapest shocks they could find. - Shock Part # 5672. I complained about ride comfort. The store manager promised to replace the shocks with Gabriel Ultra Shocks after I had the vehicle inspected by another reputable mechanic to check and verify Monro’s work. (Gabriel does not even make shocks for my make and model year vehicle.) After a couple more days, the ride was still terrible and getting worse. I went back to the same mechanic for another opinion. The mechanic pointed out that instead of replacing the shocks, Monro decided to spray paint the same existing cheap shocks a different color and covering up the manufacturers label hoping that a mechanic or I would not notice and make the mechanic and I believe that the shocks were replaced. Monro pried the rear bushings apart on my torsion beam with 2 pry bars and installed 2 pieces of thin plastic to help quiet the vehicle down causing over $1,900 in additional damages. Lastly, other drivers on the road kept pointing at my rear tire. Monro over torqued the lug nuts on my rear tire causing 2 of them to break off along with the studs. Monro sent me home with a wobbly tire. Monro Store # 462 had my vehicle for 4 days to replace 2 rear shocks and perform an oil change. The store manager thought that applying a coat of spray paint to the shocks and installing plastic would provide much better ride comfort. I paid $783.49. In return, I got spray paint, 2 pieces of plastic, a wobbly tire and vehicle damages totaling $1,979.22. Monro Corporate does not care what their employees do. They could not even apologize for this mess. If you care about your car, I would definitely recommend going to another repair facility and not going to Monro store # 462 or any Monro store. Otherwise, get your flash light and a microscope ready and have another mechanic check and verify Monro’s work like I did. The best $10.78 I ever spent. Photos, videos, mechanic comments and repair estimates are available upon request.
