Broken appointment charge

I showed up for my appointment and the office cancelled me. The office should have called me, they have my phone number. I see there is a broken appointment charge for customers. How much do I get from the dental office for them breaking my appointment. I lost 4 hours of pay because of this.

Worst Business Ever

Over charged and charged for work never done. Does not complete dental work but charges you for i. Trust me and so many others who were ripped off.

Dissatisfied

Even with the mediocre reviews, I decided to take a chance with Monarch dental. I booked easily on the phone with the Selma, Tx location. At the actual appointment, they did the x-ray but dental eval but they said that due to my med history, I needed clearance from my doctor for the actual cleaning which was the first time I ever heard of this. Note, they never got back to me so I had to contact my doctor for the clearance to send to Monarch. I contacted Monarch to verify if they received the clearance and the receptionist said to take a recommended anti-inflammatory med before the appointment and that my doctor put in the prescription at my pharmacy. I took this medicine prior to my 2nd appointment. I conveyed all info and the dental hygienist said that they had no info on any recommended anti-inflammatory med and that my cleaning had to be rescheduled again. I told her that I was being truthful and why did the receptionist there knew of the medication. She accused me of not caring for health and made me feel like I was a pill popper. I will never ever go to Monarch. They wasted my time, lied to me, and has no good customer service.

Complaint

This company likes to think they are the best dentists and employees. If you have money to blow then they are your people. My husband went there last week and was told to have two teeth pulled was over six hundred dollars he went to a different one and was charged 92 dollars. This place sucks!

Received bill for services rendered 2 years ago-Monarch Dental Frisco

I received a bill today for $27 from the Frisco location. It's not the amount that upset me. It's the simple fact that when I contacted them, I was informed that it was for services rendered 2 years ago in 2020. My dental insurance had already paid their portion, but now this office is telling me that due to Covid, they are now reviewing their records. This is the same office that told me that I had a $140+ credit at the beginning of last year and that they would send me a check for refund of credit. I have never gotten that check. The run around that I get from this office is that my credit was transferred to Plano office and when I call them, they say that they transferred credit to Frisco off 01/2022. No one knows where my credit is, but they have no problem sending me bills for services 2 years ago. This is also the place that notified my whole family that our personal information was compromised. My husband has had multiple accounts opened fraudulently due to this data breach. I should have learned my lesson when they would schedule appointments and when we would show up, they would inform us that their hours/days changed, and we would have to reschedule. Very bad billing practices and customer service.

Unresolved billing issue

Monarch billed 2 insurance companies for services rendered in May 2021. Primary insurance is not paying due to billing errors. Monarch says that I owe over $600 for this work. I was told at time of treatment what my portion would be and I paid it. I have been trying to get the office personnel to call me but they wont. I want this issue resolved!!

I REALLY THINK THAT YOUR SERVICE SHOULD BE A LITTLE BETTER

Now that i am irritated enough to look for a corporate office # in which to complain to i am being guided to your reviews, and now i completely UNDERSTAND why you have a star rating here that reflects 1.6 out of a possible FIVE stars!!!!! I have been a customer of MONARCH DENTAL since about May or June of 2010, of your office in Waxahachie, Texas. I could not get through to them of Friday, and tried again this morning. After being place on hold for a total of 44 minutes before hanging up and calling back, at which point i was asked to hold again,..i was still unable to get a satisfactory answer to my question after talking to first, Meagan, who put me on terminal hold, and eventually, Holly came on line with me, who asked to put me on hold again, and again, i was on hold for quite some time, at which Erica was up to bat next totaling 3 office reps at this point, who in turn, once again asked me if she could place me on hold! After another substantial amount of time on hold Ava came on line to try and assist me, but this was AFTER i had finally decided to call back after 44 minutes on hold, at which point she wanted to argue with me about the amount of time i was collectively place on hold while watching the clock on m phone tick, tick, tick over until finally i hung up as it reached a total of 44 minutes!!!! But even after calling back and getting Ava, i was still unable to get a satisfactory answer to my simple question. \She explained that she was busy and told me that she would have to call me back with an answer to my question. At this point, i am unable to decide whether of not i even want to remain a client (customer) of Monarch Dental, even though i have been for about 11 and one half years to date. I think that it may be time for me to just find me a "local" dentist which ISN'T a part of a huge corporate conglomerate where i can get an answer to a simple question within what i would call a reasonable amount of time!!!! Perhaps someone there in corporate can answer my question and even be interested in keeping me as a customer for maybe another 11 and one half years!!!! And if by any chance that might be possible i can be reached at (903) 372-****~

Complete disaster

I wish I never went to this unorganized establishment. They have lost retainers multiple times and its ridiculous how difficult it is to make a simple appt. I invested thousands of dollars into braces for my child and they cant figure out a simple retainer. INCOMPETENCE

Refund

Was told my son was seeing a pediatric dentist. He was not, charge $500 only for my son to develop an abscess. We went to see another dentist, pediatric, was told the previous dentist did not to the procedure correctly and charged another $500+ to fix. I would like a refund from Monarch

Terrible Communication

I have tried getting annual cleanings twice at Monarch Dental. The first time, they were double booked and didn't bother to tell me until I arrived. The second time, they confirmed my weekday appointment via text earlier in the week, only for the entire location to be closed when I arrived with no warning or explanation.

Unhappy

I paid for two cleanings 6 months apart and all they did was polish my teeth. A rip-off! The dentist comes in fast and spends very little time. It felt like everything was rushed. Eager to give me a plan and make followup appointments. They are only in the office 2 days a week. They did a crown and said I didnt need a root canal. After she gets the permanent crown on then I need a $1500 root canal. Not happy at all. Dental Hygienist are trained to clean your teeth thoroughly not just polish them. I was scheduled for two crowns with a bridge and they were pushing to do it before I got the root canal. I felt so uneasy about it that I went to another dentist! After they looked at my teeth that had just been cleaned two weeks before they could not believe it. Now I get to pay for a real cleaning. DO NOT USE MONARCH DENTAL.

My teeth dont fit

I cant wear them they hurt I cant eat talk orclean out my mouth with my tug . They have medal in them which makes them very heavy. I need them to start over

Wrongful Treatments

Had root canel done Dec 5 2019...on tooth #19. Monarch didn't get all the root...was referred to Oral Surgeon for a Second root canal in tooth #19..left me w/ a 1,200 bill. Monarch said they would Refund 621.oo back to Insurance...l Paid cash and have receipts...Why No Response?....As a result Too now Crown have to be Extracted....All work was done needs to be refunded...Infection All the way to the Bone....Just Wronged ...l pray No one else Experience the lack of Treatment like l have! Why pay for X-rays if Major INFECTION IS overlooked....to the Bone.

*** customer service

It boils down to this covid stupidity. Jumping through hoops is one thing but when you make a person who is on full chemo, wait outside in 90 degree weather, that goes beyond stupid. She even mentioned that her vehicle didn't have air. They made her wait outside. I cancelled my appointment and will never go back. Absolutely preposterous.

Faulty upper partial

This review will be completed after the partial is repaired ADA states a denture should last 5 to 7 years my partial didn't last a year I believe I may have fallen on a scam thinly used plastic made to break no matter the use so that you must come back for repair and billed again for an inferior product that was never done correctly in the beginning they tell you when you agree to do business that you have unlimited access to repairs if it can be done in house that's the scam nothing is done in house really for your dentures Since I have no insurance for them to milk I'm waiting to see what they are going to try and extort from me I will make it my mission to give all insurance companies that will listen to start checking their billings from this company it is still possible that their legit but will see I was charged $200.00 extra on top of the $1200 paid less than a year ago for a poorly made partial an instead of making it right for minimal or no charge you are cornered into paying b4 they can send it out to the lab my choice if they attempt to make more money off me is to let them keep the cheap things and dispute the charge with my credit card if that fails I will let the whole world know of my experience, so they will not have to be extorted paying for a faulty product that should last 5 to 7 years normal wear of course. I really hope what I suspect is not true seems to be pleasant people working there but many companies are found to be crooks keeping the insurance coverages high for us all. Have minimal work done there get your dentures partials elsewhere This field is already a lucrative entity without adding inferior products to its clients and extorting money from insurance companies and the people hope it's not Monarch but I will not be a victim and will not rest until I find out either way if their legitimate or criminal will see this matter is still ongoing but the charge is unfair to me the denture should have lasted longer than 9 months now I'm afraid every 9 months I'll have to pay them revolving door of unfair treatment and practices if these substandard dentures / partials have been made in the masses and the timeframe is happening to a multitude of people a class action lawsuit maybe looked into is also an option This is a hard time for all and greed has no place in anyway for any reason people are struggling just to survive and using any type of leverage to get money from a public that is already hurting is immoral it's a perfect time to be noticed if you are a company that is not trustworthy This maybe updated today 6/24/20 after 3pm at the conclusion of my pickup
