Problem with my hearing aid

With these hearing aids I've received it seems to be one problem after another fix one issue creates a new one and right they will be out of ears more than they're in it and more time in that little case they came in. I really hope this gets to someone of higher power to do something about this

No hearing aids for a year

A year ago I walked into the Miracle Ear in Cadillac, MI. After repeatable complaints that my hearing aids kept coming out, I finally got them to understand what a mold was to help the hearing aids stay in my ears. A month ago, they finally took new molds of my ears and was told they would be in that week!! Nope, still dont have them. They were quick to have me sign a contract, but there was no guarantee for me. They have had my money over a year and I have no hearing aids. Im a believer in satisfaction, but of course, my money was not refundable. They have ruined my social life which includes church at 81 1/2 years of age. I cannot hear!! Im wearing my old hearing aids buying batteries and filters. I believe I should get some money back. I dont expect all of it, but out of $7,000 it is not unreasonable to get a $2,000 off my hearing aids u have had a year. The hearing aids r wonderful, when they work. I feel there was no hurry to get me my hearing aids, since you have my money. SHAME ON YOU FOR KEEPING MY MONEY FOR HEARING AIDS THAT YOU HAVE HAD FOR A YEAR!!

Never recieved free gift from my visit, never recieved a copy of my hearing test

I went in to the Miracle Ear store at 9900 S. IH-35 Ste A225 Austin Texas 78748 after recieving a promotional coupon in the mail. I was offered a free hearing test & a free hearing aid for coming in for the test. I came in ,had my test, got a quote for hearing aids, I told them I was just fixing to be on MEDICARE and would have to see how much help MEDICARE would pitch in. They said they were out of stock on the free gift & they would mail me a copy of my hearing test. Ihave called 2 times and they still have not sent me my free gift or a copy of my hearing test. Ijust wanted you to know I feel your company is very unreliable & if you can't even live up to your commitment on your promotional offers how can anyone trust you to follow up on your products after purchase.

Worst company to deal with

I lost one unit during trial period and they refused to honor the guarantee. I contacted the Vice president and the president to no avail

Insurance not honored

I was convinced to buy the most expensive model of hearing aids sold with false gimmicks. After 3 set up , many questions , disappointed with the so called miracle features and never given access to the full program on the phone I decided to return the units with the understanding the units were insured. I unfortunately lostavoid one unit because they were very small and did not anchored that snug. They did not honor the insurance and I had to pay the full half amount which was substantial. Letters to the president were not answered and discussions with the vice president went nowhere. I found out there is a scale of price that you pay, the units are the same but a higher price give you access to more features of the program . I found very similar product at Costco with much better service at a quarter of the price. Andre

Their so called insurance does not cover lost item during trialperiod.

I was planning on returning the top of the line units I bought because of extremely poor service I received and the performance of the units did not match the performance I was told it would be. I unfortunately lost one unit before I could return them and they refusent to honor their so called insurance! I found at Costco some very similar units for a quarter of the price they were charging me. Andre

Quality

Have had to get them repaired at least 5 times in three years . They have had them for almost 4 weeks now, I am not very happy with them and they dont care.

Unfair return policy. Charging full price for replacement of lost unit

I am being charged the full price $944.34 because I lost one unit ! I suspect that the true replacement cost should be a maximum of $375.

Miracle Ear in Shreveport La. refused to take back hearing aids before 30 day return time runs out!

My mother 81 yrs went to see about hearing aids they advertised of course she couldn't get them the cheap pair because they claim that she had too much loss for those. Went to next ones which were like $3500 which is more than she can afford on fixed income and why she has not had any before due to ins. not covering, he fitted them and adjusted but they kept squealing and beeping every time she turned her head and they had no way to control the volume which were too loud and heard too much like dogs nails on the tile. Went back in 2 weeks as they requested and he put his salesman pitch of how the company was going to upgrade them and eat the cost. Before we even knew what this was all about he was making molds of her ears and still trying to sell us on this. they come in and they tried to adjust them but were still not right and was sent home for her to try them for a while. After 2 weeks go back and we were dead set to return them because after 2 months nearly and this being a 4 th trip to see about them with gas prices so high and an hour trip one way not too mention it just being hard for my mother making these trips with nothing changing or improving with the hearing aids it doesn't make sense to keep going but NO he absolutely REFUSED to take them back stating she was unwilling to let him try and fit better for her. All in all if she had the 30 return would expire (which will this week and this was last Thrus.) because they would set the next appt for 2 weeks past return time. He became aggitated and kept repeating same things over and over throwing blame back at her for not being coperative with him. He never admitted they failed to fully inform or inform her about the newest one or install app to control volume (claimed that came later???). Our first visit was quick and rushed in and out in under 30 min. He was in and out of room many times and brought paper work in to sign for loan (we weren't aware of all this not being affiliated with Miracle Ear) he pointed to where to sign and his assistant comes in saying his next client is waiting therefore feeling rushed and him pointing to sign it was but not read... our fault for assuming he was trying to help her out because he seemed so nice but that changed when we tried to return because he was very rude and combative when we tried even talk about returning them!! Now my mother has called customer service on there main website to get that she should go back they're sure he would work with her. So in other words not return them because he definately said he would not take them back I recorded this and seemed to just *** him off more he also said he wouldn't talk with me anymore or me talking to him because I said "my *** in a statement yes my bad again but at least I didn't call him one!! We will not set foot in his office or talk to him again by the way he also runs the one In Bossier City too. Now what do you do when you try to return and they refuse to take them back before the 30 day return time frame???

Bate and switch

Received the advertisement for 2 state-of-the-art hearing aids for $995 plus a free hearing test. The present hearing aids I have are 6 years old, and thought An up-grade would help my hearing. After the hearing test and the Demo hearing aid were adjusted to my hearing losses, I was fitted with them. YES They were better than my old ones. I even went outside to listen to the car CD music ,.and it was better. So I decided to order these "new" hearing aids at $995.00 When I said to the customer agent that I would take them, he said "oh no, the ones you have in your ears are the next grade up for the amount of hearing loss you have" and the selling price is $7,499.00 !!! Not $995.00 I would NEVER have walked in the store knowing I would be looking at that price. What a waste of my time and gas.

Charger caught fire

Updated by user Apr 12, 2022
Still working on it. I was given a new charger but have to watch closely when charger is plugged in to ensure it doesn't catch fire

Original review Apr 12, 2022
The service is great, but I just recently got a pair of rechargeable hearing aids and I plugged them in for the first time to charge, but the charger caught fire and ruined my surge protector and the charger

Poor device for hearing problem

We took our son there they prescribed a hearing aid and we have had trouble from the day he received it. We worked with them saying they could fix it but here we are a year later and NO improvement. Took him to a ENT doctor and found the hearing aid is not big enough to handle his hearing condition. Miracle-ear sad it is over 30 days old an no rector compensation even though we worked with them continually. They use we will fix it as a stall tactic to not give a refund.

They do not fit. Cannot wear them.

THE RETURN POLICY IS A MANIPULATION AND A SCAM...READ ON. Before I purchased the hearing aids, I had several criteria. I had been left hanging with the past companies going out of business and no one to get follow-up care so wanted a representative who would be around for me. Rep. said he was in the business for 17 years and would be around until his retirement which was not happening now. He was retired and gone in 2 months, and I was turned over to second person. LIE ONE. A second request was that I need a particular type to tip because my ear canals were narrow and one curved differently and I was assured they could find tip that would fit me. Third request was a hearing aid that did not push the top of my ear forward. I wanted to return them at a month because they hurt but was told they could get them to fit so got an extra month guarantee and with it got another rep as my rep retired. I tried returning them after the two months were up as they still hurt my ears. She said I could not, but exchanged them, and exchanged them back, and refit them and refit them and on and on...and then a new rep took care of me in the same office. I have had about 20 office visits in less than a year. This new fellow tried whittling down the tips by hand, but the hearing aids still hurt my ears and I cannot wear them a full day and cannot wear them for another four or five days. The technology is good. I know, because if I push the aids all the way in, I hear well, but the tips are too big, and the hearing aids are too big, and they won't stay in my ear, and therefore I can't hear well. I was told there was no way to return them on my last visit. I am wearing my old hearing aids with the CORRECT sized appliance and accessories. This guaranteed promise of satisfaction cost over $5000.00....Make sure you are satisfied before 30 days is up. BUYER BEWARE
