My stay was horrible

This has been one of the worst experiences I've ever had in a hotel. The desk clerk Cindy was not a friendly employee, very dry and never try to smile once. On the first night of being there the 11th, I noticed around 7:50 to 7:55 Cindy was basically stalking the door to the pool (which had very hot water in the pool with absolutely no real shade for the guests). At 7:57 she walks outside and starts rushing us out of the pool area, clearly can see we had things to pick up stood there and swung her keys on her finger or playing with the keys that made noise. Cindy made us feel completely rushed out of the pool and an inconvenience to her. There is this ridiculous rule that paying customers have to walk to the front door instead of using the side door next to the pool to enter the building. Upon returning to my room, I noticed that the refrigerator was frozen, so I called the front desk and Cindy said the maintenance man is going for the day she was going to figure out what she can do. The manager or the owner of the hotel switched refrigerators for us, so we can have a working refrigerator, that problem was taken care of. Saturday around 11:00 p.m. we discovered there were ants in the room, while walking to the elevator there was another guest who was being switched rooms because they had cockroaches in their room. Cindy did not offer to switch our rooms, instead I was handed a can of ant and roach spray to spray in the room myself This was supposed to be a relaxing weekend for my family and I, and it seemed like that was not going to happen in this hotel. After discovering the ants, it was almost impossible to sleep comfortably because I kept thinking ants were calling me. This is the first and last time I ever use this company, and I will never recommend it to anyone. I would like to ask for a full refund or partial refund because this was a miserable trip. Maybe try some employee training for Cindy because her demeanor and body language spoke volumes about her not liking her job. Thanks for your time

Lost reservations and worse

I made reservations at Microtel inn in Gassaway WV and called back to verify and was assured all was good. Nine hr. drive, done some business and went to check in. I was told that she remembered the whole conversation but reservations was missing and that there was no more rooms. I had business the next day and no place to stay. Computer monitor was taped together,they offered me and my family a room with a broke door lock. They said that they would let me in and let us out in morning. (against any US fire code). They were dressed very unprofessional and I do not think they even knew how to run a hotel or computer. All motel/hotels were booked by then within reasonable distance to what I had to do anyway, I drove all the way back home and arrived at 3:30 am. This trip cost me all my expense, time, wear and tear and vehicle and a $39,000.00 tract of land. I want to sue. Can anyone tell me a lawyer who is good at punitive damage. After seeing reviews from around the USA I am glad I did not stay but they need a lawsuit to give them a wakeup call more than any company I can recall. Real dumb *** folks. I attempted to stay at this hotel. I arrived at 11:50 pm as I had a car emergency and didnt have windshield wipers on my car and couldnt get them until the next morning. Pretel was checking me in and he was rather rude and nasty. I check in to the hotel, the first room I get, which was room 128. THERE WAS BLOOD IN THE TUB. I immediately freak out, after only being in the room for literally 20 seconds. I grabbed my stuff and ran out. I headed to the customer service desk, I informed the customer service guy what was going on and asked for a refund because it has now officially freaked me out. He says, I can change your room. I dont t have anyone to clean it. He came to check the room and agreed to move me. So then he moved me to room 130. This was supposed to be a non-smoking room and the last room they had for the night. So, I go into room 130 and the room REEKS OF CIGARETTES!!! I immediately leave out. I got to the front desk and this is where I get upset! I see Pretel checking another customer in USING CASH!!! So I said excuse me, I said how are you checking him in and allowing him to pay cash and you wouldnt let me pay cash for my room only my $50 deposit AND YOU SAID THERE ARE NO MORE ROOMS AVAILABLE. So I said I need a refund this room smells horrible and like cigarettes. The clerk gets up set with me and start throwing his hands and saying No refund only deposit refund!! I could not stay in this hotel!!! Blood in the first room cigarette in the second. He then offered my room up to the person that was coming to check in as Pretel was selling them the room with the blood in the tub. Pretel sold this guy MY 130 room, would not refund me me deposit or room fare. This hotel is being used for drugs, prostitution, and for all the wrong reasons. I never got my money back, I paid for a room at $75 and deposit of $50 totally $125. And someone stayed in my room under my name which caused me to have to cancel my card. The guy that he sold me room two DOUBLE CHARGED FOR A ROOM, was only needing to be there for 4 hours he said if that just to *** with a *** I am still trying to get a refund!!! I never got a receipt, didnt give me a receipt for the cash deposit, or card payment but the cameras and my bank statement will show I paid for the room by card and deposit by cash!!! This hotel was FRAUDULENT!!!

A complaint about having no water and price to high

I checked in because our shower is being remodeled and our bed hasn't came yet. Was wanting a good night rest on a bed and a nice long hot shower. I checked in approximately 1230 a.m. the 28th it is now 6 till 4 and still no running water. I'm furious the only answer lady can give me at frontdesk it should be on anytime. When checking in price went up once which I don't mind paying more At last minute check ins anyway. But I don't feel obligated to have to pay 119$ on a room that doesn't have water. Not just my room but the whole hotel without water that should be a violation anyway sure.the fire.marshall doesn't know hotel goes hours without any running water. I have to work tomorrow like most people and it's 4 clock and can't shower.

Dissatisfied

The rooms were disgusting. The 1st room smelled like insence. The tv didn't work. They moved us to the 2nd room. It had a chemical smell and not a clean chemical smell. There was no parking in a safe place. The guest on bottom floor had their window open and talking to people outside their window with their car door left open. Dog barking as you walked by room. Back door was left open so you wouldn't have to use a key to enter. It is absolutely the worst hotel I have been in. I checked out asked for a refund bc we didn't even stay for any of the prepaid days. They refused to refund me. This has definitely taught me to double check before you book.

Horrible experience at Microtel in Maugensville, MD, response rude and could care less

Room was dirty, sheets not changed in a week, had to go down to ask for clean towels and bring my used ones down. Sent an email with the complaints and received an email that asked me why I stayed?? Really, the worst customer service I've ever had and will definitely tell my friends. They have email and photos, but couldn't care less

The manager at the hotel in Dixon City Pennsylvania Tim general manager very very rude to me I'm a elderly person he has no respect disrespectful unprofessional I will never ever stay there and I will tell people I know never do business there at that location very upsetting

Have a complaints

stayed at the Micro Hotel on May 11, 2023 in Charlotte, NC. My flight was delayed and the airline put me up in the hotel. Confirmation,# 85426EE017981. It was a long day. I checked in my room and hopped into the shower. As I was showering, a lady opened my door and walked into my room. I was completely naked, lathered with soap in the shower. She saw me. I yelled at her to get the *** out. I grabbed a towel and shooed her out of my room. She kept yelling that it was her room. When she was out of the room, I jumped back into the shower to rinse the soap out of my eyes. There was a pounding on my door. I grabbed another towel and proceeded to the door to see what the *** was going on. I had soap in my eyes but I didn't want anybody walking in on me again. It was the desk agents apologizing for the lady walking in on me naked. I said can I just please finish my shower. Other guests in other rooms were opening their doors to hear what was going on. Filthy hotel room etc bugs

Floor is filthy microwave was dirty tub dirty roaches crawling out wall plugs they changed me to a nastier room. I a pissed off consumer who is a disabled veteran. I took lots of pictures.

Double charged me and will not refund! I left some blood on my mattress so instead of my one night, I was charged the equivalent of 3 nights. Brian, the Manager said I left blood everywhere. I have a photo that shows otherwise.

Amber at the front desk

I was treated very rude I believe I was profiled we didnt sleep we were threatened with k9s, I was treated like a criminal when there was no evidence of any wrongdoing this is a bad practice and very dangerous to be treating guest as potential criminals

Terrible service

I checked into the Robinson, pa location on March 7th and originally was only staying until the 11th but ended up extending my stay through the 17th. On the evening of the 15th after bring out of the room and at work all day I was approached at my hotel room door by the hotel manager and the front desk attendant. They told me someone smelled smoke coming from my room that day and that I was to either pay $100 cash right then or I would be asked to leave, but I had already paid to stay for the remainder of the week so I asked if they would refund me for the two nights I paid for if they were asking me to leave. I was told no because I booked through a third party they would not be able to refund me anything. After speaking to the manager he finally agreed that I could stay through what was paid for as long as I agreed to pay the$100 incidental fee by the following day (today). Even though I don't agree with it and I do not admit fault, ai was not in fact smoking in the room, I agreed she to the fact that the reason for my stay in the first place was because I am traveling for work and absolutely NEEDED the room. Also in the conversation I had with them that told me that I was not permitted to spray any of my perfume in the room bor was I allowed to put any of the towels, used or not on the floor inside the hotel room, which I think is genuinely ABSURD and completely unnecessary, not to mention unreasonable and unheard of, and unprofessional as well. Then today, around 1:45pm there was a slight knock on my door followed by someone guessing into the room. You can imagine my surprise since no one other than myself had a room a key. When I saw that it was the hotel manager accompanied by who I assume was a member of housekeeping I asked if there was a problem, at which time he shoutedsre "get out!", Repeatedly. I asked what the issue was, since I was genuinely confused because there was absolutely no chance ANYONE snoked inside that room AT ALL, NOT TGE FIRST TIME THEY MADE THW ACCUSATION AMD CERTAINLY NIT THIS TIME EITHER! THE housekeeper pointed to a towel I had on the floor insinuating that I had the towel there to block a smoke smell, when in actuality I only had it there because #1. It was dirty, and #2. Because I thought it might block some noise because I had a friend of mine in the room with me and I was attempting to be respectful. The manager just continuously sh pi uted at me "leave now" and "get out" until finally I frantically grabbed all my belongings and just left the hotel. Not only am I offend, but I am also put money that I paid to stay there, and I amstrnaded away from home and left with nowhere to stay while I am traveling for work.

Disgusting and unsanitary rooms!

I wish I could rate this place ZERO stars! We stayed at the Microtel Rawlins, WY on 812 Locust Street and arrived at 1:30am on September 21, 2002. The first room was room 105. Both beds were full of pet and human hair when I pulled back the sheet, on the blankets and pillows. The towels were stained yellowish-brown of what looks like old bodily fluids served with a side of pubic hair. There was an empty box where the fridge should be, the front desk guy stated they were all sold out of fridges after going back to ask. The bathroom had pubic hairs on the toilet, shower, floor and towel. The coffee machine inside had white stains. When I went to the front desk to complain about the sanitation issues of the room the front desk guy rubbed the back of his neck and until I said let me show you these pictures. He stops me and decides to move us to another room that he said was handicapped. We agreed as we needed a new room. We were moved into room 106 at about 2am. The room was still not clean but "cleaner" than the last. When you walk in it looks like there was a blood stain at the entrance, it had less pet hair in the beds but I was able to wipe it off with a towel. One of the beds we did not use due to the mattress stain. It had but a fitted sheet (inside out) protecting me from whatever that was on the mattress. No mattress protector or mattress pad? There was magically a fridge in this room but it was just nasty with brown leftover chunks left behind, crusty/sticky particles left on the inside door area and a bunch of hair just stuck inside the freezer section. The refrigerator was not working properly, I had to clean out the fridge to use it and had to add ice packs to the fridge to keep drinks cool. The toilet bowl was stained with black lines. The entire 2nd floor was apparently out of order is what the front desk told us and it doesn't stop on 2nd floor so you have to get ice on the 3rd floor. We had a 14hr road trip and it was now a little after 2:30am, we were too exhausted to argue with the front desk and we had a 9 hour drive planned ahead. We decided to just sleep in the "cleanest bed" wiped it down and slept for maybe 3 hours. My sinuses were irritated when we got up and we couldn't dare shower in the walk-up shower without shower shoes and decided not to shower there to be safe. We were ready to get the *** out of that hotel and checked out. In the beginning, I saw the price online and it was right off the main road so I called to book a room. I told the guy on the phone we would be paying cash and he said he would need a credit card to reserve the room. When my husband checked us in he was told the credit card was already charged and it would be reimbursed as he paid cash. (It was reimbursed eventually.) The point was to hold it not to charge it. Upon checkout, I noticed the prices were not the same as online when I originally booked it. When I asked why we were not charged based off the website as this is false advertisement, he claimed he does not have anything to do with the website or customer service and he is just a guy that checks people in. I asked if there is a number online I could find for customer service and he said yes. I have not seen a number outside of the 307-324-**** as it goes back to their front desk and it is the same guy. I have a feeling that this guy at the front desk is actually the owner and I am not sure where to begin (outside of this review) for my complaints to a customer service person or refund options. SAVE YOURSELF from a sleepless and filthy night!!! The price is high for something that looks worse than a cheap motel. Outside is very deceiving. Who is even inspecting these hotels and approving them?! This place is the worst booking decision I have ever made in my entire life and it is a nightmare.. so book elsewhere!!!
