I'm a seller and I need help

Marcari doesn't allow a seller if A buyer wants more details like pictures on a product. And that can be very frustrating because that is the reason I'm not making sales.

Sold an unopened item brand new camcorder

They did not even review my stuff I submitted for return and they are scammers for the scammers it dnt make since how many people have to loose money by selling on this app

A buyer was able to buy from me after several failed payment attempts I finally shipped out brand new camcorder the buyer said can they return they did not like the item I asked them why they stated they just dnt want it was not what they expected I told them I did not want to except it opened it was brand new why did they open it the next day I received a message from Merceri stating the seller wanted to return the item because it was broken not that they didnt want it because it was broken they say so mercari approved there return after never looking at our messages were the buyer stated they just didnt want it never telling me it was broken so the item returned to me used ripped and broken so mercari allowed a scammer to buy my item switch out for an old one I sent them pictures of the item there was no way this was a new item clearly showing so and mind you I have never had an issue selling anything unopened I am a 5 star seller they constantly makes money off of my sells and allowed me to be scammed by a buyer which he has sold items on the once a few old looking items they allowed him to switch out my new camera for his old camera his Nicesean watch him please everyone he is a scammer he will switch out your stuff for his trash and as I see mercari has allowed a lot of scammers get away with doing this I have ask numerous times to give me corporate number still has not sent to me I am told never to even trust mercari they do not stand by there buyers they are allowing people to steal from you sell on mercari again and anyone I know I will have them remove there page as a well its to many sites to sell on and mercari is not one of t they are frauds and scammers for scammers

Product not working

Emailed back before 72 hours was up but they took more than 16 hours to get back to me...said I couldn't return or exchange and I bought a warranty but doesn't kick in until after 30 days. Mercari reviewed my seller for me after I told them my product didn't work. Charged me anyway! Couldnt reach through phone and refused to do anymore on email, just wanted to close the case. Had to send a stop payment through my bank...

Mercari DOES NOT have a customer service number. You can only reach them by email. When you email there is a statement at the top that says they will be in touch in 14 hours, WRONG!! I have been emailing since Sunday with no response. The phone numbers listed go to a recording that says, they do not have a representative in your area, then hangs up!! A $100 is a lot of money to me! Seems like only thing I can do is small claims them to get my sellers balance.

Stolen package broken item parts missing

I can't send emails or any problem with the company. I have taken all but 2 listing off.

I still have a theft of a second package in Florida. Who stole 2 keys and German instructions. Which was obviously his goal. He also took the clock apart and damaged it.

The phone.numbers don't work. And I was told to tall to the attorney General from you guys. I will have to file a police report. And they refunded the guy his money when its broke and missing things.

And Is worth zero dollars now.

I've called all the numbers on the internet. And I cannot leave a message to tall to a site representative.

I sent a German clock made a sale for 200. Said it was broke. When it came back glass was shattered. With insufficient packaging. Took my clocks parts he needed. Second package was sent. Buyer dissapeared so I will have to call the police. 225$ scam for me. And they were in favor of fhe buyer. Sad how they do buisness. I can't send anything through the website. The number doesent work to contact anyone. I've tried for a long time. Highly recommend you don't use the site. Since buyers can get away with this. Ebay is better. I took all but 2 things down on my profile. This is ridiculous.

Customer service is not available

Trying to cancel a purchase before it is shipped. Seller lied about the shipping status and then blocked my account so I couldnt contact them again. Customer service with Mercari is unabated help.

The seller entrusted my proclamation pertaining to the inaccuracy with the Chanel De Blu EAU Parfum and said that I did not need to return the product and she has repeatedly reached out to you Mercari

You dont have a legitimate customer service number where you can speak with a representative and you make us repeatedly chat with a chat service which doesnt do anything to assist us!

My refund has not arrived

I had ordered an item that, I had to return. The item did not match pictures the seller had posted. The return was approved. I mailed back item with label that was provided by Mercari, that was over ten days ago, I still have not received my refund.

She was rude for no reason

She was rude for no reason, I asked her a simple question and became rude and called me inconsiderate. She needs to learn how to separate personal life and business life. She has supposedly been a seller for years, but has no customer service skills whatsoever. I accommodate to her every need and she still was not satisfied and did not give me a chance to respond to her. I would not recommend her at all.

No contact from customer service. No contact number.

No way to email or get a response.

They don’t follow their own rules. Cost me a ton of sales by allowing a return to me of products packaged perfectly and photoed and described precisely.

No calls or emails ever happened. Still unable to speak to Any customer service. The item that was ordered and was exactly as my description and my photos was allowed to be returned to me. Despicable. Im out $200 with item cost and my packing expenses and no response or help from mercari. Same exact problem with the item immediately before this. Buyer allowed to return without sending back broken item or any photos showing my packaging was done incorrectly. Id like to sue this company or report it to my states attorney. Im fed up.

False Advertiaing

I ordered a laptop from you all and Kendotronics. The item I ordered, the seller said was already sold and he tried to sell me a laptop that was an 80% downgrade from what I ordered. This is ridiculous.

COMPANY is SCAM

This company is a scam. I originally sold a Gucci belt thats been sitting collecting dust on Merchari. Originally, I had my doubts about selling after reading over several reviews that warn seller to stay away but I decided to give it a go. So on 03/27/2023 I sold the belt to buyer who did not put full address down for full shipping. I contacted buyer for address and canceled it. Miraculously, Mercari stopped the cancellation I requested to sell to the buyer due to doubts. Merchari gives buyer three days to inspect item (try on, break, damaged) if they would like to make a return. On the third day, they buyer decides to file for return. Merchari gave the buyer 7 days to return. The next thing is the return item I sent to the buyer is not the item sold. Merchari has allowed sellers to be scammed out of their items. when I file the claim for the return in just a hour they sent a pre-written script as to why they wont give the money that owed to me or have buyer send the original. Im the pictures below the red marker are the original pictures posted. The ones without are the ones of the fake item returned. Merchari will not investigate, retrieve, or give you money owed. Stay Away if you value your Money, Time, Efforts. Someone explain to me how you can clearly miss the difference between the red maker photo vs whats taken afterwards. Lawsuit is what they have coming for all involved.

I am brokenhearted about Mercari’s poor decision of allowing my new iRobot to be returned in unreliable or useable condition!

I haven't heard from anyone yet. I feel like I should send a letter to the State Attorney General. I've had to spend way too much time and energy trying to resolve this travesty of justice.

My new robot had never been uses or even set up when I disclosed that on the listing and said, I had taken it out of the box, plugged it in, but never used it. Someone purchased it and claimed it had been used, which was a lie! They said it wasn't delivering the liquid because it was clogged. In fact they likely tried to.use the wrong pads and the wrong liquid cleaner in it because it came back with a sticky residue on the area where the pads are placed. They also registered it and didn't disconnect the service because I was going to try to see if I could use my $400 robot but I can't connect via Bloothtooth because it's still under their account! This is serious fraud on so many levels. I'm ready to file a small claim in court. If I can handle the stress. I'm chronically ill and was really in need to using this now. Mercari didn't even look at the photos I sent. How could they! They also allowed the return to happen when I made it very clearly I was on vacation and couldn't check the cleaner until I returned which was then outside of the window to have them rescind the return. It was unfair on multiple levels. I disclosed that the bot had been in my laundry room but never used not even once! Now, I'm stuck with a hot that can't be used in any fashion, was returned in horrible shape and I'm out all of my initial expense plus the frustration of not being heard!

Horrible customer service! Pretty much accusing me of being dishonest

I dont know how you can hire horrible people to work for your company! I have never e ever had such a problem with a company when it comes to a refund on an item that I received that was broken! This company is horrible and should be put out of business
