Complaint about food

Uber Order= REGULAR crust pizza with X cheese, CHOCOLATE CHIP cookie & a fudge brownie. Items received: THIN crust pizza with X cheese, a half-done SUGAR cookie and a PEANUT BUTTER cookie! I'm allergic to peanut butter. The number provided is not in service. I called the store 9 times and got no answer.

Zoe and Jemma work at Conyers mellow. The service was awesome tonight. My pizza was one of the best I have had there. Keep up the great work and customer service

Absolutely HORRIBLE!!!!

I took my family to Mellow Mushroom for lunch, we were the first and ONLY customers at 11am, which is when they opened. It took 55 minutes to get our pizza and appetizers. The waiter never came back to our table to refill our drinks. As I looked through the glass window, I could see the waiter BS-ing with the cook!! This is why my order took almost an hour to get, while my 4 kids were starving, $60.00 down the drain!!! If you want SLOW service, then this location is good for you, if you dont want SLOW service, then I suggest you eat at one of the many restaurants surrounding this Mellow Mushroom. Lastly, I called them to voice my concerns and the woman on the phone advised me that the store manager would call me back. I havent received any phone calls, nothing, zippo, nada, completely unacceptable!! This post is my personal experience and I will never take my family to ANY mellow mushroom restaurant.

Pizza Bowl Option

Hello Mellow mushroom! I was wondering if you can make a pizza bowl option. My family has been keto for a year or more. We enjoy going to Mellow Mushroom to get a mighty meaty with no dough. I think the cost is a bit much. Since we are not eating the dough the price should be at least 30-40% less than a large pizza. I patronize the Fayetteville, NC location. I just feel thats a lot for a pizza bowl 27.99 a piece for one bowl. I understand paying that price for two but not one. Please look into making the pizza bowl affordable! Thank you, Alicia

Disgusting and unacceptable

Mellow mushroom in Lincoln, Nebraska. Our last mellow mushroom experience has us questioning if we will ever eat there again. We ordered a take-out order our favorite pizza the same thing we get every time. when we opened it at home I first noticed it wasnt a perfect circle and some pizza slices were higher than the other pizza slices, but I brushed it off thought maybe the dough was a little bit weird this time around, but I was Im eating I noticed that the toppings we ordered underneath there is another layer of cheese and pepperoni and when I saw that I was in disbelief. I thought there is no way that they took random leftover pizza slices, placed it in our box put our toppings on and baked it again, but sure enough that is exactly what happened. as I began to look under our baked toppings, I noticed there is spaces in between the cuts of the pizza, and when I looked underneath the pizza, the pizza dough was not cooked evenly on the different slices. It was not the same color. I would love to send photos proving that this has happened. I am so disappointed because this was our favorite pizza place. It is so disgusting to think that we were eating other peoples leftover pizzas and the quality of the pizza did not taste good either. We are truly just so disappointed and disgusted.

CAR VANDALIZED

My car has been vandalized twice at the Mellow Mushroom in Gainesville, GA. But the location refuses to put cameras in the parking lot, even though their own employees cars have been vandalized. This last instance cost me over $2,000. With zero remorse from Management or Ownership

Child Labor Laws 2nd review

After emailing the legal department regarding, not only my child, but the other minors at the restaurant not being made to take 30 minute breaks, I received an email from a man in management. Legal has not reached out to me. This man said he was a manager and wanted to speak to me the next day. I declined, stating that I only wanted reassurance that this will stop happening. I informed him of the law again and told him Im concerened for the kids that work there. I received a notification that he replied to my email but when I opened the app to try to read it, it was no longer there. Possibly deleted within the time frame that some apps allow you to retract an email. I sent him an additional 2-3 emails requesting an update. None of my emails were answered. Tonight my child got home from work and when I asked her if she took a break, she said no. Someone needs to nip this in the bud. Its legally the employers obligation to ensure these kids get their mandated break time. HR has never returned my calls either. I would like something in writing stating the violation of these childrens rights is being addressed please.

Online pick up person was on personal cell phone and had to wait for her to get off personal call. Did not apologize for wait and did not confirm order when she handed me the box.

Child labor laws

My daughter has worked for mellow mushroom since 3/26/2023. She worked that day and every day until Friday 3/31. She then worked again on 4/3/2023. Around this time I began to realize she wasnt getting breaks. Shes 16 and all shifts have been 5-7 hours. Yesterday, 4/6, she worked again. Before work she asked a manager about breaks and was told that she has to ask in order to get a break (under FL law this is not true). That shift, my daughter felt it was too busy for her to take a break and she felt like things would have fallen apart if she took one, so she did not ask and ended up not being given a break again. She has worked a total of 7 shifts with zero breaks and is about to start her 8th shift today at 4pm. Im well aware of the child labor laws. Please educate management and owners that it is their legal obligation to make minors take a 30 minute uninterrupted break, ensure she is paid for all time worked and that she is not withheld money due for breaks she did not get.

Cockroaches dropped in to say 'Hi'..

Hi there. So, I guess the subject line says it all. My son and I loved going to Mellow Mushroom in Mobile Alabama any time we are close by because of the great wings and pleasant servers... Yesterday around 4:00, we stopped in and enjoyed some wings whilst we waited for our steak sandwich and our chicken sandwich... as usual, the wings were good. Thankfully, i got full from the wings and was unable to eat my hoagie when it finally arrived. I say 'thankfully' because otherwise I would have eaten that sandwich and after COCKROACHES started falling from the ceiling, I rationalized that they could be falling in the kitchen as well. I had asked for a to-go box for my uneaten meal and paid our $62.01 plus $12.00 tip, before I saw the ROACHES. I pointed out the unwelcome critters to a waiter, suggesting that he might want to dispose of them. As he went for the broom and dustpan, I took pictures of those filthy bugs. I was, and am STILL so so so grossed out! I did not even eat my food when we got home. Just couldn't bring myself to do it!! Needless to say, we will never ever ever eat there again! And once I post it on Facebook, a LOT of other peoples will decline to eat there again too. The more I think about it, the more I want our money back and since we couldn't eat most of our food, I think it only propper that we get reimbursed. Only for the $62.00 food bill, NOT including the $12.00 tip because our waitress was wonderful, its just the food bill that I am seeking a refund for. If I'm able to, I will enclose pictures of the unwanted lunch companions. I ask that you put yourself in our shoes and answer truthfully, would YOU have eaten your food after seeing COCKROACHES (plural) dropping to the floor next to your table? I thank you for your time, and your consideration of my request.

Extremely poor service for years now escalated to also accusing me of not taking care of my dog

Other customer had to alert bartender I was even there. Bland salad pushed to counter, asked if I wanted a box after having personal conversation with two (seemed) employees. No quality check No concern even after pushing again to counter. MY behavior with my dog because we dont get to check in with hostess and dont get service. Icing on the cake. I am questioned as To the well being of my dog, who can not be porch side, after Checking on him EVERY SINGLE TIME He barked in front of the waitress who I have over tipped cash in prior visits. No concern for me the customer only a quick rush to judgment over a situation your establishment and wait staff caused. Not only am I insulted that no one cared to check on the ACTUAL reality but that I am suspect after holding my sons graduation party there and continuing to patronize your establishment even after so so many bad experiences. Dont worry it wont ever happen again. I will never be back and I will keep everyone informed how poorly your wait staff is trained. Overheard at your bar by off duty employees can you believe they ordered a dirty martini dry Yes I can because dry means no vermouth and dirty means olive juice. They are obviously not trained. Thats an easy one. Insult to injury has no better explanation except the manager did not apologize until I pointed it out to her that she had not.

Accused of not taking care of my dog

I am a regular customer. I have overlooked very poor service in the past and always over tip past but this is too much. I came to eat lunch. I parked back in with camper top open for my dog. We have had many problems getting patio service with my dog so I left him well set up with camper top open and on a bed of many layers. Obvious water available (two bowls) and I checked on him so many times, probably 6 in 1 hour visit. (Many more times than I had been noticed or asked for service) I ordered him a hamburger, no seasoning and pointed it out to the bartender what I was doing. In spite of ALL this: I observed a server who I have over tipped in the past and another stranger to me looking at my dog in the back of my truck. They never bothered to inquire rather just assumed. YES ASSUMED, even though there was premium Price food ordered for him, that he was being abandoned, mistreated or who knows. Mandy, the manager is familiar with me and has been great on many occasions. She and ironically, the waitress who again assumed my dog was being mistreated never bothered to gain any more information than what they suspected to be neglect. You have cameras so Look it up. I am going to blast you from *** to high water for this. No apologies until I pointed that out. No offer to comp until I walked demanding it.

Gift card can't be used because of store closure

I received a $100.00 gift card for Christmas and the only Mellow Mushroom in the state of NJ has closed. I have been trying to reach Mellow Mushroom to see what can be done but I cant get them to respond. I love their pizza but have to give them a low rating because of the poor customer service I am experiencing.

Management and hostess issue St Johns Ave location

My family if 6visited ths location on Saturday around 6p. The hostess was staring into space so I soooe up with an infant on my hip and said, Hi, we have 6 pls. She replied tht there was a 25 to 30 minute wait I said, Ok ty she stared back into space so I looked around for a waiting area while physically remaining in front of her she did not take my name or offer us where to sit which is literally her only job. Once I noticed there were other ppl coming in and she took their names!! I saw a girl w a broom n asked her to tell the hostess she didnt take our name n we had been waiting 20 minutes all the while we were the only ppl waiting!! The hostess replied n said well u walked away n I said after you blatantly went back to staring in space i figured you wood just come get us we were the only people. I asked for a manager. They hostess went shaking her head to the manager obviously stating this was somehow me n my familys fault. Talking to the so called manager a short 20 yr old Asian girl, who began rolling her hands around while talking to me n offered nothing to fix the problem n was obviously not management. I told her this is a training issue and she told me the hostess was frustrated and I said at what?! All she had to do was take our name and say pls have a seat and wait here if youd like. Its not difficult! I said obviously you are not a manager and i will be contacting your corporate office. My children grand children were starving n my children all have hypoglycemia and needed to eat intricately. I took them all to kickbacks gastropub and had a professional experience. You cant hurt teenagers and not do quality assurance. I own there companies and i wld have fired them both in the spot and cleared a table myself and served them personally. Anything. She said nothing but about her obvious friends feelings abt a situation the hostess should have taken accountability for. WOW just WOW. I hv for adult children n five grands. Accountability is a must. These people act like they never had a parent or a job or a manager. Very unorganized. Appalling.

Harassment of employees at Hilton Head SC location

Id like to discuss a harassment issue occurring at the Mellow Mushroom at the Hilton Head Island South Carolina location. This is not for myself but I am representing my Son Ashton. I have been an Executive in hospitality for 35 years and though that you may be able to support this location with improving the coaching and counseling procedures at this location. My son Ashton Cox was involved with a miss communication between the two managers upon his check out at the end of his shift. He was told to go home by one manager after completing his duties. The second manager then told him to complete more side work on his way out. Ashton told the manager he was checked out and went home. The grievance is based on the fact that he has since been removed from the schedule with no communication or any prior documentation to discuss with him not meeting the expectations of policy. This is clearly a very poor level of coaching and counseling within a Mellow Mushroom establishment that can be improved with your guidance. I know that the scenario is trivial but basic management protocol within this location is not being utilized. The harassment is based on an interpersonal relationship between the second manager and an hourly employee that influenced the manager to request the last minute request and then decide to remove him from hot schedules with no prior verbal or written documentation. I am confident that this style of mamagement can be corrected with your guidance. Best Regards, Aaron Cox

Offensive comments from one of your employees Andrew Goodman

Dear Mellow Mushroom I would like to alert you to one of your employees called Andrew Goodman , from Brooklyn NY, who sent me a series of offensive Facebook comments last night when I was commenting on a thread regarding Israel and Palestine . They were racist and sexist comments and targeted my children as well as me being a mother . While all of them were extremely vulgar and hurtful, the most upsetting is the one where Andrew claims I only have 2 children because the other 10 died. I had 2 very painful miscarriages prior to my children of which I did not reveal on Facebook . (apparently I am also a goat f**ker because of my Arab / Muslim heritage) . I have the comments saved which I can forward . Facebook has removed some of them but not restricted Andrews profile so he is still free to harass and verbally abuse me .
