Expensive! Robocalls with no option to talk to a human. :(

Original review Jul 25, 2023
Impersonal Robocalls with no option to transfer to a real human. The supplies are EXPENSIVE. Infusion sets and reservoirs have to be replaced every 3 days. The belt clip is a poor design and breaks often. It costs $13 to replace. The 770G CGM system is inaccurate and still requires multiple finger sticks per day to keep it calibrated, thus negating the benefits of even using it IMHO. I have switched to the Dexcom G7 CGM, and it works WAAAYYYY better - it's accurate and doesn't require constant fingersticks. The only disadvantage is that the readings have to be entered manually as the 770G is a closed ecosystem and doesn't integrate with the Dexcom CGM. I have had Medtronic pumps for 5 years, but will be switching to a different brand pump as soon as my insurance allows me to (when I hit the 6 year mark in a few more months!).

Education

I want to learn to do pacemaker interrogations. What education do you provide towards that end. I work at a cardiology clinic. A device check position is open that I can move into if I can learn the reporting process as well.

Not sure if you should trust this company

It is sad that people who work at this company have good intention. However, the people on the top have no desire to pay their employees with decent salary. Therefore you should not trust the quality of the product because the employees are under appreciated.

Need integris surgeon

Im looking for a doctor or surgeon that can do the med Tronics pain pump and is in the Integris net work for insurance. I was scheduled for surgery May 8, and it was canceled due to my doctor being out of net work.

Medtronics is selling live saving equipment that they do not provide weekend emergency support. My Spine Stimulator stopped working and gave a error code. I called the only one I knew from Medtronics.

Provide Technical Support 24/7! It is awful and painful when their equipment has errors you can't fix. You can't get any help.i suffered all weekend with massive back and leg spasms and pain. This isn't anyway to run a company! Shame on you Medtronics!

Medtronic is horrible

I have had a pacemaker for over 10 years. Medtronic never send report and this year it took a unbelievable act from nurses in dr office to get report sent to dr. They send reports to Drs. that never went to. Went to Dr. on Monday to check to find out if pacemaker working but no reps around to check my pacemaker. Now I have to make another hour trip each way to try again to get a rep to check pacemaker. I repeatedly called medtronic to switch drs. but wouldn't do it. Now to think I will end up with another new pacemaker from them. Even told my Dr. last week they personally checked my pacemaker on Dec. 1, 2022. I just had a heart cath 2 days before and was home. Can you believe the incompetence. .

The 770G is terrible

Updated by user Feb 25, 2023
A month later I have had more problems, a transmitter went bad, again. I had to troubleshoot it for the rep.

No one has reached out to see if I’m alive or dead, they did call to ask if I wanted to buy more supplies, no thanks. That are a greedy company with a useless product

As of today, 1/26/2023 they have the worst support of any health care company that I have dealt with. I'll agree that 10 years ago they were great, but today they are the absolute worst, please talk to your endocrinologist about getting another company's device. I have had the 770G for about 3 years now, and I am at my wits end with all the issues this device has. Best of luck if you have diabetes, but stay away from Medtronic, your health depends on it

Don’t care for the title

Not every customer is pissed as your thoughtless title indicates. My advice is to change the title and not be so sensitive and secondly, do the analysis on what is angering your clients and fix the problem. DAHHH!!!

Two failed pumps. Two years. In Supreme court.nothinhg I want anything to do with.

Chronic back pain.hate opiates.it worked for a short short time. 5 year warrenty. Not a peep from them. My guess, soon to be out lawed due to Supreme Court case and feeding off of the people trying to do right.

I am a 12 year mini med customer I recently paid for the CGM upgrade I was paying for a monthly surply when I had my last order cancelled by you San Antonio office.

The reason for cancellation. Medicare now covers the sensor supplies and Medtronics does not have a contract with a distributor in Montana. Medtronics simply did not warn in Montana customers and provided no assistance aside from a list of phone numbers to call and set up a new supplier. This process has taken over a week. Montana customers (as I) were not warned and I ran out of supplies during the switch to a new supplier. Now back on the old mini med system A1C has gone to *** Medtronics your process is broken

Companies that still do business in Russia

Since Russia has invaded Ukraine, PissedConsumer.com cant stay aside. With this review, we present our teams opinion only - nothing more than that. We as an organization always defend the freedom of speech by providing a platform for consumers to voice their opinions and to talk about any problems they may have with various businesses. Today, we want to give voice to the tragedy of the people of Ukraine and let the world know the truth. A lot of major companies suspended their business in russia not to support the war. However, there are still large international corporations that continue operating and paying taxes in russia. Taxes that are used to finance the army of the aggressor. With this video, we want to show the consequences of such a decision for civilians in Ukraine and ask these companies to stop doing business in russia.
