Terrible experience!!

We bought a name brand mattress, it failed within 2 months! Mattress world agreed to replace it, selling us a $800. higher priced mattress, saying more comfortable! We had a 30 day comfort guarantee, it sunk in when sleeping on it because of the memory foam?? We asked to return it for a similar priced mattress, this time about $3400. They would not credit us back, we asked to talk to a supervisor, they never contacted me back, only referred me to the salesperson. My husband is a wounded in action VietNam Veteran, we have never had so many mattress problems in 46 years of marriage!! The treatment we received at Mattress World was shameful!! Very disappointed!! Stay away!!

Terrible company

They hook you in with next day delivery. That doesn’t happen, next week they tell you. The night before you get a text....your bed will arrive between 1625-****. Oh no it won’t , it’s lost, no one knows where it is ....that’s what your told when Sarah apologises from her script. ( not her fault really). The above is SOP , read other reviews, so I would strongly advise you sleep on a bed of nails before using this company. Let’s hope Mike Ashley buys em.....

Horrible Warranty Service!

No one calls back to discuss problems. Makes illogical excuses for the mattress that is breaking down. They are saying it is the frames fault. Constantly asking for more photos than neccesary. No urgency on their part to resolve issues.

Disabled child left without mattress

Paid for mattress for my disabled child as we were moving house. Paid £175 on our moving day mattress was due to be delivered. On day at 12.30 received text saying won't be delivering mattress no reason or phone number included. Took 2 hours on hold via phone to be rudely told out of stock!!! My child left without a mattress!! Now have to wait 5 days to get my money back. Disgusting and unbelievable service. Awful reputation this company has check the reviews. Avoid do not buy from them. No apology no empathy just told be patient!! Tell that to a child with spine issues who has no mattress!!! Thieving swines.

Appalling company. Do not use.

I ordered a new mattress and selected a delivery date because I had elderly visitors coming to stay and I wanted them to sleep in comfort. I received email confirmation saying it had been despatched and delivery was on the planned day. I waited for 13 hours on the selected day and nothing arrived. I could not find a phone number on the website to contact the company. They steer you to sending messages through the website. I sent 3 messages over 6 days without any reply. I am so angry because they have my money and I have nothing. I may as well have been robbed. Not sure what I am supposed to do now.

Appalling service

Having chosen this company because they stated they could deliver in 24 hours. I booked my delivery for 48 hours later, allowing the company a little leeway, assuming that this would guarantee a delivery for my day off! The due day arrived and I duly spend the whole day at home awaiting my delivery. I checked the "tracker" and it informed me it was awaiting shipment in Leeds, nearly 4 hours away! This was a little concerning but hoped this was waiting to be updated. As there was no phone number I was unable to check. By 19:00 hours I had given up hope and rechecked the tracker on to be informed my order had been delivered to the local depot and then taken back up to Leeds! I emailed the company and received an email informing me someone would be in touch however they were experiencing a high volume of emails....I wonder why! The next day I attempted the tracker again and it didn't recognise my order number! Another email to the company and I eventually receive reply informing me my complaint was being looked into. 10 days after ordering I finally get an automated email informing me my order has been dispatched and will be delivered the next day and I'll be contacted by the delivery driver when he is in the area. So my mattress was delivered without any prior contact but finally I have it. The condition is good, however I will not be using this company again as the 24 hour delivery is a blatant lie. I only wish I had researched the company a little more before ordering!

Very poor service, I will never ever buy again from this company

Mattressworld.com I have ordered a divan bed and a mattress at 24/10/2016 recieved the divan beds at 27th of October. But not the mattress. By calling everyday till now I have no answers, no solutions and lots of stories such as not in stock, lost the mattress on delivery and etc. I have chosen another mattress and it takes 18 days and now they are saying the will deliver next Wednesday which is the 24th day until the order. I called 4 times today and all they say is tomorrow. How many tomorrow's passed and I have no trust on the brand anymore. Very poor service Unhappy customer Do you think that the trust of a customer for your brand has no meaning ? Shall I believe that it will come wednesday ? Not sure We will see.

Cow boys

We ordered a mattress from this company and shortly after a little use the springs started to poke through. The mattress quality was very poor, a small amount of pressure and everything would pop out the side of the mattress. Not what you would expect from a decent priced mattress. We wrote to them and they agreed to refund or exchange the mattress. After hunting round on the website we responded with the mattress we wanted to exchange it for. I was then given a response that said because it wasn't wrapped it could not be returned for hygiene reasons. So despite the several emails in between also chasing me for a decision on the exchange or refund we were then told we couldn't. What a joke. We are now no longer sleeping on the matress and k am ready to throw it in the skip. They do not stick to their agreement and the mattress quality was very poor. Save yourself the headaches and buy from a better company. Cowboys! Avoid.

Do not order from this company

I ordered an expensive mattress with next day delivery. They failed to deliver and informed me by text without reason or explanation. I spent 43 minutes on the phone being a "valued customer" before someone assured me it would be delivered in two days time. I waited in again but nothing. They made up stories about it being a delivery delay, a dispatch error and a supplier issue. After a week of being given the run around with no idea if there would ever be a delivery, I cancelled the order. I'm now still waiting to get my money back. Do NOT use this company! They have NO idea what they are doing.

Ordered mattress on next day delivery paid for it could only select for it to be delivered in 2 days so did that , didn't receive mattress so emailed was told it would be arriving Tuesday , didn't arrive Tuesday so emailed was told it would be another week , cancelled my order 5-7 days for a refund even after telling the company my daughter hadn't had a mattress since Saturday , shocking communication and customer service

I WOULD AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE, USED NEXT DAY DELIVERY,STILL WAITING AFTER 2 WEEKS,THEY DON'T ANSWER THE PHONE FOR HOURS AND WHEN THEY DO THEY TALK BULL ***, HAD TO CANCEL IN THE END UP AND BUY LOCAL, DON'T BELIEVE THEM WHEN THEY SAY THEY'LL REORDER OR ITS WITH CURRIER, THERE LIEING, I SUFFER FROM ANXIETY AND CONSTANT PHONING AND E MAILING THIS COMPANY MADE THINGS WORSE

Avoid this company

Ordered a mattress to be delivered on "next day delivery". Took an unpaid day off work to be home on the day it was supposed to be delivered. Time slot given was 8.00am to 6.00pm. Received two emails during the afternoon to say the mattress will be with me "soon". Mattress didn't arrive. Phoned up the next day (very long waiting time) and was told it would be arriving the following week. Cancelled order. Looked online for reviews of "Mattresses World" and found an avalanche of similar stories about non-deliveries, poor quality goods and poor customer service. Avoid. Do not be seduced by the cheap prices. Use a reputable firm instead.

Mattress World is the Worst!!

Bought Tempupedic mattresss. Delivery was a hassle. We were told by the salesman that if for any reason we didn't like it, we could return it. Mattress was over $5,000. We did not like it and the odor was horrendous. My husband was fighting cancer and couldn't tolerate the odor. We asked to return it. After a month of hassling back and forth and delays. They "accepted" the return. They would not return $2,000 of the purchase price. This place lies and is a total ripoff!! I wouldn't recommend you do business with these people. I don't want anyone to go through a terrible experience like we did.

Mattress World - Englander Mattress Review from Portland, Oregon

Mattress world sold us the Englander firm set. It's not a firm. Their own people came out two times saying that it is not a firm.it's a soft. Exchanged it for another. Each time it's worse then the last. Being disabled I need a firm. I have more pain and issues getting around from the pain cause by this SOFT mattress. It's not even close to a medium. It's tolerable for the first three weeks then the floor is more comfortable. We paid a good amount of money for a mattress world lie they wont fix. Dealing with mattress world has been the worst experience we have had.

Mattress World - Living Room Set Review

I ordered a living room set to the tune of 1400$ from one of their catalogs. It took 9 weeks to come after they first said 2 weeks and every week after they replied next week. They stated everything from the manufacturer being far away to delivering to the wrong place. When it finally arrived the men acted like they wanted to leave it on the porch and they forgot the 300$ rug I bought as well which I had to pick up. What's worse is I started itching within a week of getting the furniture which I noticed a piece was already torn but figured it happened during delivery. Anyway, I thought the itching was everything from detergent to mosquito bites until I cut the back of the chair open and found it to be infested with bed bugs. Conveniently, it was the only place they were in the house. Looking back they may have sold me a bring back or refurbished set :-(. So 1400$ down the drain.
