Refund issue

Hi I canceled two tickets and I did not get any refund Its already been more than two months I waited for your positive response. But there was no positive action taken. Not helpful at all to the customers with a huge amount and a great loss for innocent travellers

First of all no one is picking up the phone then if someone one has booked with u and In less then a week before date of travel one of the traveller's father is in icu ur company doesn't go for any refunds damn ur policies Enjoy the money u got from such Medical issues Every one told me to look forward for the booking with make my trip My uncle travels with u I gave him authority to book all the rooms and see this happened to me I was traveling to goa with 8 rooms And in medical emergency I got to cancel 3 also booked INDIGO flights They returned every penny Look where u stand Never Never will try my luck with u guys Sorry

I would like to let you know that was it was absolutely disgusting experience to deal with a MakeMyTrip just to help with the cancellation of the ticket, which was made by mistake because the Wi-Fi was not working properly that day I called makemytrip company and told them that please cancel this ticket which was made by mistake and they said we are looking into it. ; They put me on a hold for so long and still nobody was able to answer any questions. And the most disgusting part was when you guys block my number from calling your customer service Your customer service answering machine was telling me facility to this number has been temporarily discontinued How can you block my number without me being able to talk to your customer service? How can I resolve my issues? And on the top of that at every step, they kept canceling my ticket which was already pre booked All the plane connections very very very time sensitive but because of your companys handling of the situation. We had to go through extreme stress and anxiety because they kept canceling my ticket at the last minute. Can you kindly tell me can one person, who can travel to the same destination on the same day on two different airplanes?

My refund was initiated by the airlines on 18th June 2023 to makemytrip but yet make my trip has not refunded me the amount back

Illegal bus booking

I had booked 6 seats in a bus from Udaipur to Mumbai in G Hyundai Travels bus and the driver and cleaner took additional people in the bus illegally and gave them seats at the extreme end of the bus where our seating was there. The seat where I had to sleep had another illegal consumer took into the bus by the driver and cleaner feet right on my face. I could not even close the entire shutter door of the seat because the AC was not operational in the bus and it was suffocating there inside. Makemytrip charges us amount equivalent to a train ticket and these drivers and cleaners make the experience unpleasant of the bus because of such acts which in nature are illegal. I will be doing a legal case again the travel company as well as Makemytrip as the experience was absolutely unpleasant and we also had a baby with us of 15months who was not feeling well inside because of the AC being non-operational just because the driver decided to save on some fuel and earn some additional money as with the salary of 18k their house does not run.

I had recently availed a trip to UK & had an harrowing experience with no support forthcoming from Make my trip despite my repeated pleadings to so called relationship manager. Mails not replied

Before setting out the journey I was made to call MMT vendor for airport pick up by the so-called relationship manager which I did twice. I was also told to call the vendor upon arrival at London Heathrow & I complied at all stages i.e. upon arrival, from long immigration queue & standard reply was to call again when I am good to go, which also I did after collecting bags. Still no sign was transport & when again I called a curt reply came that driver has gone back & will not come! Each time I called was difficult as it was a poorly managed voice interactive service, unresponsive half the time & despite my repeated calls (quite patience needed here) no airport pick up was available. It was midnight by then. I had to hire a taxi to reach hotel in the middle of night with my wife & spending app 70 GBP. The ordeal did not end here. Hotel name was changed since booking & I had no info from MMT on that. At the dead of the night & after a lot of hassles could I manage to locate the hotel. The room was of pigeonhole size with non-functioning air conditioner. Lift is so small that only 1 suitcase can fit at a time. Charges are not an issue here, the place is simply unlivable Next Hop ON Hop Off bus arranged for 48 hours in London by MMT - Nobody contacted me, neither my/ hotel reception phone calls were answered by the operator. MMT relationship manager only expressed helplessness. After a lot of effort & wasting precious time & money we located the bus start point but soon realized that we will not be able to do sightseeing in time with such a slow & unpredictable service. Finally, studied the London tube map & by tube managed our sightseeing on our own with cost with zero support from MMT MMT as part of package had arranged London Euston - Manchester Piccadilly train tickets for us (me & my wife). This train arrived at destination more than half an hour late. Train service provider Avanti West Coast has a clear-cut delay repay procedure (50% of ticket value in this case) When I informed the same relationship manager to initiate claim procedure as it is time-bound with all photos as evidence, reply came that their ticketing staff does not agree!! So I sent photos of Avanti West Coast delay repay brochure with no reply so far. I have also sent 2 mails so far explaining the situation & my reimbursement claim but these are unanswered till writing. I am a senior citizen & avid traveller having visited many many countries both for business & leisure & have never experienced such horribly managed tour & so unsupportive relationship rep. I have been appreciating my good experience with MMT & in fact have even promoted many MMT trips to my friends & relatives both in India & abroad, but this time it was a real shocker. The complaint is not about an unexpected adverse situation arising, these happen all the time but pain is due to totally unresponsive & unsupportive stance by MMT relationship staff at critical times

Want my money refund from MakeMyTrip

I had booked 2 seats by your app from Shimla to Delhi on Jetbus seat no C11 & D11 A/C for 11th June 9:35pm,my Request ID on MakeMyTrip 174609****352****, but that bus was cancelled on that day by operator of that bus. They didn't inform us about the bus cancellation. We suffered a lot on that day. As I am a girl, my safety is my first priority. I have tried to contact customer care number of MMT that is IVR NO who always says that we are working on it .please help for my money bacs

The email Id shared by you to contact make my trip is invalid and the contact number is switched off . No wonder this company does things like this . However, would love to get further help regarding this issue . Thank you for the support so far.

Full Refund not issued

This is in regards of our booking id NL212124****342 booked on 1st April 2023 Kashmir package worth Rs 2.28lac for 3 people from Mumbai. Which was a 6N/7D trip. We were very happy to book our 1st package trip on Makemytrip (MMT). Little did we know this was the start of a tornado in our lives. On 2nd may we got a call from MMT relationship manager informing us that Go first airline has gone bankrupt and now they won't be flying. We were completely shattered as to what will happen to our trip now ?? However since we had booked from MMT we were relaxed and at ease that our trip is in safe hands. Next on 3rd may we get a call from our relationship manager informing us that since our flight won't fly we will have to rebook ourself on a different airline by paying another 75k for flight. Which was a shocker as we had already paid our 1st installment of RS 23000 and now they are demanding extra 75000 over and above our package of 2.28lac. However we tried and convince our mmt relationship manager that since this was not our fault and it's beyond anyone's control can mmt book us on another flight within our promised package ?? To which she replied mmt will not take any responsibility and the only option is to either pay the balance amount or cancel the trip by paying 15k as penalty. We asked them as to why the deduction of 15k as it's not our fault and it's the airline which has got bankrupt so why penalise the passenger ?? To this our relationship manager replied that MMT has paid the various vendors Rs.1000 amount as booking token in order to confirm our package. In reply to this we asked her to provide us the bifurcation of all the vendors they have paid. We also asked her for PNR no of the flight which they said they have booked for us. She replied in negative and told us blank NO she cannot share the details. When we told her to book us on an alternative flight within our cost for that too she said NO. When we resonated with her that since we are cancelling our trip due to flight error so kindly hold back the token paid to the airlines and refund the rest of the amount atleast and provide us the flight charges once they get the refund from the airline that too she did not agree. Now we could not cancel the trip as we will lose the entire money of 23k and if we take the trip we pay extra 75 to 80k over and above 2.28lac and even after that there was no confirmation for our trip whether there will be any more problem or not ?? As days kept passing we kept requesting MMT for cancellation and initiating our refund. However all our requests fell on deaf ears. Our relationship manager did not even sympathise with us and all the time kept asking for balance payment. As she wanted us to pay the money come what may. All this while the MMT manager and her team mates kept pressuring us to release the next payment without giving us any confirmation for our trip. Our package had a date of 10th may 2023 that if we cancel on or before 10th may 2023 we will get 8k as refund after deducting 15k as penalty from the Rs23000 which we paid as 1st installment. We kept sending them mails from 9th may 2023 left right and centre to cancel our package and MMT relationship manager and her senior sonali only kept mailing us to write 'We want to cancel our trip' and do not write any of your problems or request for refund, only then we will accept your cancellation otherwise the entire money paid by you will be forfeited. We declined to write what they wanted us to write and told them to accept our mail as an official request for cancellation of our package. We did not wanted to cancel our trip but MMT did not leave any stone unturned and made sure we either cancel or pay up the balance amount. They even confirmed us over the phone that they had just blocked our package by paying 1000 to each vendor and not actually paid them the entire amount. So it was not difficult for MMT to deduct just the airline cost of 3k and refund the remaining amount as they deal with their vendors on a daily basis. Our trip has been cancelled finally by MMT but they have not issued us a refund. We want to alert everyone booking their holiday packages from MMT by looking at Alia and Ranveer singh but the reality is MMT does not care about its customers and only cares about the money that the customer has to go pay to MMT. In all this fiasco none of the employees of MMT ever sympathise with our situation all they cared about was their balance payment to be paid at the earliest. Not a single apology from any of their employees even after explaining them our situation a million times over the call. Our next step will be to file for a consumer complaint against MMT in order to get our full refund and compensation for the mental harrasment that MMT gave us. Instead of enjoying our Kashmir trip we are now made to run from pillar to post to get our refund. Avoid MMT at all cost unless u belong to a bigger goon family then MMT...
