Manager's gift card
My wife and I received a gift card from the manager of a Luby's Restaurant in El Paso, Texas, in about 2019. Due to the pandemic, we never used this gift card. Recently when cleaning out a filing cabinet, I came across it. I decided to use it; however, the cashier stated that it was not valid. So, I contacted Luby's customer service department over a week ago. I called them on several occasions and left voicemails as requested. I never received a callback from customer service. My wife and I have been loyal customers of Luby's for over 50 years. I guess besides closing several Luby's; they have decided to close their customer service's department, as well. What now? Go to Golden Corral!!! Also on this visit to our Luby's, I approached a server, she turned and walked away. I then went to the cashier to ask for pepper, and was told to ask a server. After walking around, I found another server, and, after a few minutes, she brought me the pepper. Later, I needed more water; so, I went back to the serving line and got more water. By the way, I still left a $2.00 tip.

Luby's NEVER EVER respond to any of their customers' concerns, complaints. Their snobbishness and disregardless to the customers is the key reason they are on the downside of their operation.

Employees not pleasant
When I walked in to do a to go order and I greeted the manager he ignored me and walked away then the girl through the line was irritated that I was there to order to go I told her I was sorry if I was bothering her she said its ok she threw the food in the to go plates I again asked how she was doing she said ok I go to Lubys all the time .. me and my husband are regulars never have had a bad meal but the attitude of this young lady and the manager .. make it easy for me not to return. The ladies in the dinning area are always so pleasant . I was just very disappointed the service of the line today and the employee . We have supported Lubys through all and we can go to any other restaurant but we choose to support our Lubys . This Lubys is in Helotes tx bandera and 1604.

Waitress with a bad attitude and disrespectful
I take my friend to lunch on 2/27/22 for her Birthday the waitress came up to me and said dont take anything from the station I told her that the other waitress gave me salt, pepper and napkins I also said there was no reason to yell at me she said oh whatever and walked away that she didnt have to listen to me she just kept talking I went to ask for a manager about it but what good was that b/c she never once came are table for anything no one did instead I asked for a To-go box and we left this is one of worse Lubys in San Antonio @ 944 southeast military drive for $41.50 and your bad service I could of spent my money elsewhere

December 20, 2021...11 am .opening time My wife and I went to lubys on Military Drive, like we have been for years. We brought a Christmas present for an employee who we love because his customer service is above and beyond.I asked an employee if he was there today, and she said no, then I proceeded to take the present back to our car. My wife overheard that employee call me a vavoso. I didn't hear it, but she did and confronted the employee, the manager saw the whole thing and made the employee go work in the back

Did not get what I had ordered
I ordered by phone 11-22-2021 at Luby's corpus Christi # 3 and asked for turkey and dressing and when I got there they told me that they had run out of dressing and did not ask if I would like to change my lunch order. I had left my cell number, I think they should had call me.

Lubys in Fort worth tx service was very rude they only had 1 tray in the line and it was dirty so I asked for some clean trays but got ignored several time and when I finally got at answer it was I'm to busy to get trays. So myself along with several other customers walked out.

The food has no flavor, the chicken and tenders are overcooked, potatoes are water, the bread is drier than a Popeye biscuit.
