Unable to get information to setup camera/ nvr.call But I have email company two times, and have not received any form of relevant response.

Products keep breaking

If I knew I would have to spend $1000 just to be told after less than a year and a half that they can not do anything after 2 devices stopped working, I would have picked any other device. 2!!! I got the first one, less than a year later, went to the garbage, called them only to send me another device that lasted 5 months!!! second one also stopped working. Called them back and the only thing they can do for me is help me place an order for another device for $500!!! "because it is our of warranty"! this crap does not work, what warranty???

Tech support misleading comments

I purchased a NVR with a hardwired cameras and 8 wireless devices.I asked the tech support team could the wireless devices be substituted for hardwired by adding a POE switch to the same network and plugging the added cameras into that unit.He replied yes.So we did and we proceeded and got 10 cameras working on the system.We then went to add more cameras and found that the system would not add these units .Called back to tech support and explained my problem and concerns and they stated this could not be done with the present NVR we have.Bad for customer and myself.Thanks tech support.

Selling defective products, Disgusting service, Ripoff

I ordered the 16-Channel Nocturnal NVR System with 4K (8MP) Smart IP Security Cameras with Real-Time 30FPS Recording and Listen-in Audio system in August of 2021. I did not install it until the start of 2022 because I was doing construction to my home. On June 8th of 2023, exactly 17 months of use of this expensive security system, one of the twelve cameras went black. I called the technical help department on June 9th. The tech told me to turn the system on then off, which I did. After doing that, a second camera stopped working. The tech then did a complete reboot of the system. After doing the reboot, the entire system would not turn back on (no camera views). The tech then told me it may be a power issue, or most likely the NVR could be defective. He then told me there is no warranty because it has been passed a year since I bought the system. I explained to him that I have been only using the system for about a year and a half, and he said that doesn't matter. I then spoke to a supervisor "Khris, ext 36225" in the Philippines, and he told me the exact same thing. He also suggested that I buy another power cord, and try it, and if that doesn't work then the NVR is defective. I bought the cord, but that did not work. I called for help because 1 of my cameras was not working. After the "help" from your technician, NONE of my cameras are working. I now have a complete defective system. This is absolutely ridiculous and extremely unprofessional of Lorex to sell defective products. It has not even been 2 years and their product has stopped working. The price for this system is $1700 US dollars, and it doesn't work after 17 months of usage I can not believe that Lorex is not standing by their product, and wants me to purchase another system after 17 months of use for one of their defective system. The tech is responsible for all of my cameras not working. Disgusting company. I will never buy back another lorex product. USA customer

Not much to say to add about poor quality products never buy lorex again and advice others to think twice before buying lorex products

Cannot log into my account

I have been trying to log into my account from my phone. and its not sending me the two step verification code to my phone. You guys are constantly closing my open tickets which does not make sense. how do you close a ticket without solving the issue. And your 1-88*-***-**** has been busy for over 4 hours. This is ridiculous. Someone better give me a call asap before i return the entire system.

Lorex unable to provide EU Declaration of conformity

I have ordered cameras from Lorex and the French customs asked for the EU / French declaration of conformity (stating the RED (Radio Equipment Directive) and Rohs). First time they ask for this document but it is now required. Lorex has a declaration of conformity for the UK and an FCC document online... However, they are not able to provide the EU documents. I have been calling several times (The call center in Columbia really tried to help but the head office is not answering) and I've sent emails to the supports team, sales team and head office... the head office does not answer. The French customs will destroy the items if I do not get the documents...

How set up device on a diffrent phone

Good evening, My wife and insold our hoise and the new owners are trying to activate the cameras that we ledt them. It is saying that theynare hoomed up to my phone. My question is how can the new owners activate the cameras on there phone with the QR code. QR code is saying its unable to actibate due to a previois user.

System does not work, customer service will not help

Dear Sir,Lorax contacted me and constantly accused me of basically lieing saying supposedly the equipment is doing such and such.They constantly make me repeat myself.I told them to start contacting me via email. They sent one email.

I responded.

They responded and when I responded it says the mailbox is full or has other problems.I just want someone to come and fix my cameras or replace them.Because they said you can only get a refund after 30 days of receiving them. Since it took almost 30 days to get someone to install them that is not a realistic timeline to see if their is a problem with the system.Thank you for your time.Respectfully,Vickielynn Pringle

Our system started not working within two weeks to a month of being installed. I reached out in June and they would not help and said had to call. My husband calls them and they will not help him. They told him he had to provide information that was on the cameras but they never told him it was on the cameras. I tried calling because I was done and asked for a refund because purchased extended warranty and they flat out refused to.Stay away choose someone else Sta

HORRIBLE customer service

After 7 attempts customer service hasnt been able to handle a firmware upgrade. My cameras beep when they shouldnt. The solar will not charge the batteries. Several cameras wont connect.

After talking to Erin today, she was the 5fifth CSR Rep. says "to record at night, heeded to buy a separate specially SSD card", even after you bought and regardless of the SSD card I had. That's like saying, "to stop your bicycle, you need to buy brakes?" They know I have a three (3) year Warranty Plan and are not trying to fix my system, but to prolong the need for a reliable, simple to use, gracious for treating them with dignity when they are there to refuse the solution, prolong the problem and deny the Warranty Plan. This was my third time buying from LOREX. It seems that using the only "hindu" CSR has damaged LOREX' ability to get all issues resolved because these "hindu Techs were at many times wrong (4x), annoyingly conceited, and forcing more and more callbacks. I am no longer recommending LOREX,FullDo not buy from LOREX its no longer US driven and I am going to ask for a full refund.
