5/7/10 BEWARE OF Making Home Affordable loan Modification Guru, Anna Cuevas. It looks like she works for a modification company. I believe, but cannot prove, she is scamming people. Sadly, to say, I was fooled by her positive attidude and she genuinely seemed to want to help. I spoke to her for almost two hours last week and after hearing my story she told me that she wanted to renew my faith in humanity and the only thing she wanted in return for helping me was to just play it forward,. Then half way in the conversation she said if I get your loan modified would I be willing to pay her $700 in the end. I agreed to do this and signed a consent form to allow her to speak on my behalf to BofA. Then she tells me yesterday, she will contact me today and today I get no response. I then checked her out on loansafe.org. From just what I read there I immediately sent her an email to let her know that she was no longer to speak to my bank on my behalf, and that I would be faxing Bank of America, first thing in the morning a letter withdrawing my consent. She isn't free and her website is started to list her fees. If you think Bank of Anerica is bad, think again. Here is someone using the teachings of the Bible to scam people. Wow, only in America.
