Discontinued!

This is my second litter maid my original version (with my past pet)was the tan box I had for over 12 years and that one had a reset toggle at the base by the gear if I had trouble the reset always fixed it. Once I got a new pet I purchased this blue version which just a year in has stop scooping, green light no scoop. I called customer service to be told they no longer make litter maid boxes and they can not help me, sorry

Piece of junk

Bought the 3rd generation Littermaid litter box from Menards back in January. By May it quit working. Tried to contact company but no phone number available and after 3 tries to use website contact me tab we just bagged it up and returned to Menards. Not worth the $100+ we paid for it.

Litterbox not working. It is 7 months old.

I was on hold for almost 15 minutes and then apparently they closed so I was sent to a voicemail and never spoke to anyone. I still want to get another box because mine is broken and I shouldn't have to pay for a new one

Motor stopped working

The unit has stopped working. The scooper bar thing stopped scooping in the middle of the box. I called to have it replaced and was hung up the first time by a human. The next time I held for an hour, and the system hung up on me. I called by and left a voicemail over two weeks ago with no return call. I called again today and started to explain he problem, and YET AGAIN was disconnected. I will be filing a complaint with Amazon as well as the BBB. This used to be a great product. I have had multiple littermaids over the years but never again! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY! Read the Amazon reviews, they read just like mine. I wish I would have before I paid $157 for this. I have had them before with no issues. I called Amazon to let them know their manufacturer isn't standing behind the warranty and they could have cared less.D

Poor Customer Care

I've had the litterbox for less than a year and am requesting my 4th replacement. One was broken in box, one broke after a week, this last one lasted the longest about 7 months. When it works it's great, but it does not last at all. I have been emailing for a month for a 4th replacement. Finally got someone on the phone today and they forwarded me to a voicemail of their supervisor, we will see how long that takes.

Reason? I never got through !

I tried to reach Littermaid via phone, in a time crunch, to find out where/what store do they sell their crushed walnut cat litter. (Id been told by Walmart that it was discontinued. ). When trying to reach Littermaid unsuccessfully, I was re-routed to try their online site. When I tried the Help section, and typed in my question asking about the product in question, I got no answer . Just a list of typical questions. FAQs. So I gave up and had to go buy a cat litter I dont like. Next day, I see an email from Pissed Consumer asking if I was satisfied . NO I AM NOT ! Unfortunately Littermaid, although they make the only cat litter I prefer.. They have a terrible process for consumers to get a simple answer.

I returned the faulty unit and exchanged it for another unit. This one appears to be working - it's been two weeks

Initially, the unit got stuck at the 'container dump end" After about two days of attempting to 'reboot' the timer on the rake (simply by continuously turning the LitterMaid off in the stuck position/at the container) and waiting... (and manually cleaning ) The LitterMaid would later restart and realign in the proper start position. Now, at the moment (3days later ) it's working! My kitties hope it continues! sharon kantanen

Warranty. Box stopped working

The litter Cog which I believe is the gear within the motor has broke, and we have been attempting to contact Litter Maid for one month to get a replacement via warranty. Please respond asap. Thank you

Litter maid Stopped working after 1 month

The scooper won't work In my multi cat pan 3rd edition send me a new one that works I don't know if your company is going down hill or am I unlucky is there any suggestion of the best litter to use for this 3rd edition model

My 250 litter box is not working

Horrible customer service spoke to Melanie and she actually hung up thr phone in my face. She hung up because I kept saying I don't have a receipt and she would pause and say sorry can't do anything what a waste of 250 and customer service is unbelievable horrible very bad experience woth this company I will never recommend it to anyone

Bought a multi cat litter box in January 2022. It stopped working in June. I called and wrote to littermaid but got no response. I really want a replacement for that one. I left it in my old house when I moved from Tx to NYS. No sense in bringing a non working cat box by movers. My new address is 9 Arrowhead Dr. Waterloo NY 13165. Email is nyredneks@***.net

I have sent messages 2 times now with no response.

Bought the litter box in Jan 2022.stopped working in late June wanted a replacement litter box. I moved from Texas to NYS so I just tossed it. No sense in bringing an automatic litter box when it doesnt work.
