Terrible customer service

The foundation deliberately makes it difficult to apply and to keep your prescription active. Told me my doctor had not filled out his portion, when he did--several times. Took months to resolve. Then asked for income verification, which I sent, but then kept sending more letters, implying I didn't. Called customer service, but their phone tree sends you through a maze, then back to the original message. Wait time for a person to answer is very long. There's also no way to send an email or even to talk to a chatbot. My medication costs a ridiculous $900 a month, even with Medicare, and I'm a senior citizen on a fixed income, so I have no choice but to endure this abuse.

I've been receiving trulicity at no cost for 3 years

Without the foundation providing my diabetic medication, I wouldn't be able to afford the trulicity.

Lily does not care

I began my application 3 months ago. After repeated emails that my doctor did not complete his portion we tried faxing the info repeatedly. Each time they said it wasnt received. I went to my doctors office & stayed on the phone w Lily Cares while they received it & said it was accepted. Then received another email that my doc hadnt completed his portion. They are lying & purposely making it difficult. Everyone has the same experience. It isnt coincidental.

THEIR COMPLETE LACK OF COMMUNICATION

Applied for assistance 11/15 21 and it is now 3/8/22. I received 2 messages that my Dr. did not send the correct form and we sent it in twice in late Nov.. Have not heard from them since. I called three times, the first I spent on hold for 37 minutes, the second 20 minutes on hold and finally spoke to someone. She told me that they needed a hard prescription from my Dr. before even starting my application. She said she would call me the next day and get the app. started and they would text me my on the progress. No calls or texts received so called back in a week and she said they had all the info now and I would hear from them shortly. I have heard nothing. The name "Lilly Cares" is obviously just an advertisement but with little results.

Resolved: Can't get the medication order

Updated by user May 06, 2021

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with product or service ordered.

Original review Apr 06, 2021
I have the same issue as the person who posted on September 9th, 2020. I faxed the Lilly Cares application for my mom on 2-2-21 and got a confirmation from my fax program that it sent successfully. By 2-24-21 I hadn't heard anything, so I called Lillly Cares. They said they hadn't received my fax, so I refaxed it. I called back on 2-25-21 to be sure they received my fax. They said the prescription the doctor faxed wasn't complete, so I refaxed a correction. I called Lilly Cares on 3-3-21 and they said everything looked fine with the app and prescription. Everyone I talked to said they would contact me when the medication was ready to ship. When I got no contact from Lilly Cares, I called the RxCrossroads, the pharmacy they work with on 3-23-21. They said the prescription was still wrong, so the doctor faxed a correction again on 3-25-21. On 3-26-21 and 3-30-21 I called the pharmacy to see if the order was being processed. They transferred me to the pharmacist who said the prescription was still wrong, but she would call the doctor to get it done. I called back 4-1-21 to see if all was done and RxCrossroads told me I'm not on file as someone they can talk to even though I had already talked to 5 other people there and this is the 4th year I have completed paperwork. I called Lilly Cares who got on a 3-way call with RxCrossroads and said I'm authorized now. As soon as Lilly Cares hung up, RxCrossroads said she couldn't take a verbal from Lilly Cares and she can't talk to me. I called Lilly Cares back, but the call was cut off. After two months and several hours on hold and completing paperwork several times, I give up.

To complain about the service

I started calling in June of this year and here it is 9/9/2020 and no results. I talk to a different person every time I call ( that is if I am lucky to be able to get through to a person) It seems as tho they want to help but when it comes that time no one can give you an answer, Each time it is a different answer, a new prescription, not enough information, incorrect refills and whatever. They have asked for new prescriptions over a half dozen times.Needless to say if you are able to even get through to a person they can't give you an honest answer or put you on hold and then you're stuck holding the phone for ever.I'm a senior person who live on a limited income and it is really hard to need meds and not be able to afford them

3/5

Unresponsive pharmacy

Although we are extremely grateful that the foundation is providing meds for my 90-year-old father, when we try to contact their pharmacy to ask the status of medicine that should have been delivered a week ago, we get put on hold and no one ever answers the phone. I have waited over an hour on three occasions and over two hours today. No one ever comes on to talk. He will run out of medicine in two days and we don't know when this life-saving medicine will be delivered. They do not provide an email address to send questions and only have a fax number. FAX in this day and age. Unbelievable. Most elderly people do not have a fax machine!
