I have been trying to contact the human resources department to get some records I need from 2002. many days and many hours later I’m pissed.

Their phonemail messaging is so complicated. You can never speak to a person I need to speak to a live person. My request is complicated and not a cookie answer. I have no not options to speak to a person. Im pissed.

Discrimination

I walked through the entire store and nobody greeted me. I went to the pick up area. because I needed to get my new lenses because the first pair of lenses were the wrong prescription. Which I had to pay some money for the difference of the mess up.not my fault. But all that was fine I understand mistakes happen until nobody greeted me and I sat there for 20 minutes. At least it felt like 20 minutes. Another couple came in that were a different ethnic group than my own they greeted them acted like I was not even there. The guy in the lab noticed that I was sitting there asked if I needed any help and I said yes I would like to get my lenses please so I can actually read my phone to type this message. I have been a loyal customer since 1985 I recommend you to everybody I know who wears glasses. im immensely disappointed. Thank you for hearing me, Ryan Mcclean.

See below for explanation

Dr James Woolridge is the most arrogant, insensitive, conceited doctor I have ever met. Employee stated he comes in late, makes patients wait with no apology. There is no one quite like him and that is not a compliment. A former employee witnessed him being extremely rude and insensitive to a Hispanic man who came in to ask questions and check on his bill. He Did Not listen to this poor man. He was degrading and told him that he'd "send him a bill in Spanish." The man walked out discouraged and confused. This was disgusting to say the least. This doctor also talks very loud to his patients while having the door open and doesn't respect their privacy. Do Not go see this doctor! If you don't worship him, you're done. He is intolerable. He has good marketing and the good reviews must be FAKE.

They messed up my glasses and would not do anything to fix the issue

It is a complicated story, but they messed up my glasses and before I could deal with it, I was diagnosed with cancer. I spent about $1300 for eyeglasses and sunglasses and had nothing. Since it has been more than 30 days because I have been dealing with cancer treatment and have had 13 abdominal surgeries, and have been in the intensive care intubated for more than a month, I asked that they help me with a discount for new glasses, and they will not do it.

Problem with lenses

I'm having difficulty seeing to safely drive my wife to and fron her dialysis treatments in daytime sun and when its dark going early in fall, winter and spring. There is a film that I can't clean using a spray cleanser I bought,at a Wammart Eye care center. I wipe the lenses with a new eye care soft cleaning cloth.but the filmy problem exists. I believe the lenses are defective and I am very concerned about driving with them on. Please make it a priority to replace my glasses as this condition persists. I am a 76 year old man with a limited income and cannot afford to buy new glasses. I trust that you will address this compaint and act accordingly to replace my glasses. Extremely Disappointed with LensCrafters: Unethical Practices and Misinformation

I visited LensCrafters at the Westfield Valencia Town Center mall on July 13, 2023, for a scheduled appointment at 6:00 PM. Unfortunately, my experience with them was extremely disappointing and highlighted their unethical practices and misinformation. Upon arrival, I presented my insurance card to the receptionist, who struggled to locate my information in their system. Despite my son having visited the same location on March 29, 2023, and receiving an eye exam from Dr. Wong, they claimed to have no record of his visit. This was in direct contrast to the evidence I presented, including Dr. Wong's prescription and the MES Vision app on my phone, which clearly showed my coverage under MES Vision. When I requested an estimate for frames and lenses, I was given an exorbitant figure of around $550 or more. The receptionist eventually found my insurance information but informed me that LensCrafters was "Out-of-Network." I later discovered that LensCrafters is, in fact, an "In-Network" provider through MES Vision, as confirmed by MES Vision's customer service representative. This revelation raises serious concerns about LensCrafters' intention to mislead customers and overcharge for their services. Furthermore, the LensCrafters receptionist informed me that they had placed a hold on my benefits without providing any care, preventing me from seeking services from another provider. While the legality of this process is questionable, it is clear that LensCrafters failed to act in good faith and disregarded my rights as a paying customer. After contacting MES Vision, the hold on my benefits was promptly lifted, emphasizing that LensCrafters had the ability to do so themselves. This further exposes their deceptive practices and lack of transparency. Whether the receptionist at LensCrafters was lying or whether the customer rep at MES Vision was lying, it is too impractical for me to spend all my resources to verify. Whats important to note here is that LensCrafters should not put a hold or lock into any of their customers insurance benefits if no service has been rendered. I feel compelled to share my experience to warn others about LensCrafters' unethical conduct. Their intentional misinformation and unjustifiable hold on benefits, even without providing any care, is inconvenient and unacceptable. Customers should be cautious when dealing with LensCrafters and consider alternative eye care providers who prioritize transparency and customer satisfaction. I sincerely hope that LensCrafters addresses these issues and takes immediate steps to rectify their practices, ensuring that other customers do not fall victim to their deceptive tactics.

Consumer service does not work properly

I want to order a replacement part but the customer service directs me to the public review page for pissed consumers? That sounds funny but does not resolve the problem.

Horrible experience and they have no clue what they are doing.

Update: Their contact form on their website does not work and they don't answer to any messages on social media. Why even have it if you won't use it? I'm still in shock at how bad this experience was. I only decided to come here because my usual eye place still won't buy a glaucoma machine. They dilate my eyes every time and I just didn't want to do it again. Came here for the first time, got an exam, and they told me I need progressives. Never worn them before. My order came in and I couldn't wear them. I'm in front of huge monitors all day, and this was not going to work. Went back and got reading glasses and driving glasses. Both cost me over $1,000. (why?) The prescription was wrong and my right eye was terribly blurry. They told me my driving glasses are fine. Rep said. "I've been doing this over 30 years, I know what I am talking about." Well, I've had my eyes more than 50 years and I can tell you, my right eye is still blurry when I wear them. I finally go back for a third time and pick up my new reading glass prescription. My right eye is still blurry, just like my driving glasses. I have to close my one eye to drive. I specifically said to the guy, my driving glasses are still blurry. No response. I said, I guess I'm stuck with them, right? No response. He just wanted to get rid of me. I'm still in shock how this is normal customer service. I'm out an insurance visit, have two pairs of glasses that are blurry, and out $1,000. Be very careful going here. I want my money back so I can go to a REAL eyeglass place.

Tread ion a Very Direspectful Ractist undertones

Hi there I was referred to a particular LensCrafters office through my health insurance policy I called they gave me an appointment, transferred me back to their IT girl name Angela, who, for some reason could not locate me in the eye med portal. She then began to tell me about all the other stores I could go to, why would anyone representing a company that sells products tell you to go to a different store number one they are newly opened . therefore had a 30% discount on any services to come there. The young lady could not find me an appointment had been made while she was on the phone. I called my health insurance company and they gave me the information she was not able to find that, but I did not care for and it was very dissed tasteful that she said I needed to go to another location a different store. She didnt know me she didnt know the color or lack of color of my skin and yet this young lady name, Angela said you should go to another location and I heard a man standing over her, he said tell her to go to a different store. Why would they tell a potential Lea brand new client or customer dont come here go to another store it made me feel very ill at is an uncomfortable I said, why dont they want me to come in there so I am launching a complaint against the store in Aurora Colorado at 10651 East Garden Dr. Suite 107 Aurora eta Colorado 812 phone number 303-363-****. Ive decided to go to Pearle vision why would people tell you something it made you feel uncomfortable unwelcome , and written like another racist the move on these people here in Colorado. Were sick of it and I am reporting them for not treating me like a regular human being, and I visit that I was born and raised here they were not.

Have a Complaint about the services

Appointment was on April 3 told the glasses would be in in two weeks by April 25 no call ill called them. They said they were shipped. On April skews me May 8. I went into the store because I still had not had a call they said oh they just shipped Well did they just ship then or did they just ship on the 25th. It is now 11 May and I still have no phone call and no glasses. These glasses have very expensive for Sachi frames and I am absolutely livid. As soon as I get my glasses, I will never ever use LensCrafters again.

Lied to by management

While working I broke my glasses the other day. Seeing as well, I can't see more than 6 inches past my nose without my glasses and not having a spare pair, I called the Bloomington, MN lens crafters to check and see if they had my prescription lenses in stock. I was told they did and yippie, they could get me out the door with new specs that day, no problem. Well when I got there, the lady who greeted me was warm enough and invited me to look around for frames. As I walked over to check the frames out I noticed a taller man, guessing he was either the manager or an eye doctor, walk up to helpful lady and starts talking to her while staring at me. In the corner of my eye I noticed her turn and also start discretely looking at me. Not sure what he said tk her but she didn't look to stoked to do what she was just told to do- she walked over and nervously told me that the machine that cuts or shapes the lenses isn't working all of the sudden. All while, well I'm going to call him what he behaved like- snarky *** is staring at me, as if he wishes his eyes shot lasers that were capable of melting me into a pool of nothing. He stood there, staring at me (I checked my watch)for a good 15 minutes. When I went to the back of the store, he made sure I was in sight, crossing his arms and glaring at me. As you could Imagine, I wasn't having the easiest time shopping for my new frames and he made the whole experience well, feel like a shameful event. Didn't stop there. I remembered I brought in some frames my daughter had bought me for Xmas last year (a name brand that lens crafters does NOT carry) so I asked helpful gal if they could put lenses into those glasses in addition to putting lenses in the new frames I was still struggling to pick out. She went and asked snarky douchbag if they could do that, he rudely asked me "where did you get those? Just frames with no lenses, huh?". I told him that they were a gift from my daughter and he turned and started quietly talking to helpful gal. I couldn't make out what they were saying but after about 20 very uncomfortable seconds I loudly stated that he need not worry about it, I'll just pick frames out. I would have lit his *** up by now but hey, I need glasses. Badly. And while I was told that this machine of theirs suddenly broke down once I arrived at their shop (did I mention that I took an Uber there that cost me $35 each way because without glasses I can't see much of anything?). I'll wrap it up by saying i spent probably a half an hour after nit getting am answer about my frames, looking uncomfortably as all *** for a new frames, paid 100% out of pocket, believe it was $345 for the Oakley frames and lenses and got an Uber home. He looked shocked when I had no problem dishing out hundreds of dollars for the lenses and humiliation for free on the side. I can't possibly explain how over all embarrassed, shocked, upset and really just blown away I was by all this. I'm a 42 year old father, a decorated combat veteran (2,purple hearts and a bronze star) and yes I have some tattoos. But for *** sake, I have Grey hair and spent more on the boots I was wearing that I purchased a few days earlier at Nordstroms that this greasy *** spent on everything he was wearing. I can handle myself and normally I would have lit his *** up, embarrassed him by simply pointing out how he was treating me and produce the photo on my phone of George dubbya pinning my bronze star on my chest aboard the USS. Abraham Lincoln, left and of course not given them any of my business. But when I say "usually I would have"? Well, nothing like this has ever happened to me... ever. Well, maybe when I was 13 and was trying to pocket some double mint gum at the gas station... but for *** sake man! But today when I go to get my lenses? Well I'm going to find out if this machine was actually broken down yesterday, if not, seeing as it's going to cost me about another $70 for an Uber there and back, I'm not leaving until this *** either pays for my Uber, gives me some sunglasses frames of my choosing with prescription lenses or the *** cops show up. BTW? My brother is chief of police in coon rapids. This should be interested. Lens crafters? You really *** the bed here... I mean, whether you lied about the machine being broken down in an attempt to get me out of the store asap so I don't "steal?" Or if it was really broken down, this was the worst shopping experience I've ever had... seriously. This is the first complaint I've actually wasted my time writing.. ever. I had to because I have spent most the hours since this happened just steaming and hopped this would get it off my chest.
