I have spoken with Jay who works for this law firm and she always states that she will give Mrs. Keiko a message for me then puts me on hold come back to the phone stating that Mrs. Keiko is out the office. I guess she is trained to lie... I have been continuously calling this Firm because divorce paperwork was served to me and needing clarification of this paperwork. My spouse hired this lawyer to represent her and the incomplete paperwork raised questions and I don’t like to be ignored. If u relay a message to your clerk who works for you, don’t tell them a message that you will call me back and you don’t.. Left a message with Mrs. Tracy.. hopefully she will get this message to Mrs. Keiko..

I hired Keiko when my son's grandmother tried to gain custody of my son. Keiko is amazing . She came highly recommended from two people who lost against her. The entire staff was nice and professional and caring throughout the process They gave me updated accounting records often and always kept me up to date. On court day Keiko dominated and took control. She was able to get the opposing party to agree to everything that i wanted and always kept my son's best interest at the forefront. I highly recommend hiring her before the other party does. You definitely dont want her on the other side of the table.

Military/ Civilians: Be careful and think twice before hiring. After paying over $14,000 to Ms. Keiko Griffin for finalizing my divorce and 6 months after finalized, I received a letter from the Attorney General charging me with a debt of over $62,000 for an apparent overdue child support and spousal support payment because Keiko and/or her attorneys did not close the Temporary Interim Order (TIO) properly. Then my ex-wife decided to take the TIO to the Attorney General (AG) and they enforced the supposed debt even after I paid $40,000 cash to my ex when finalizing the divorce. The Child Support debt was due to a typo on the date initiating the Temporary Interim Order which showed OCT 2012 instead OCT 2013. Additionally, the AG office charged me over $13,000 in spousal support that Keiko and/or her attorneys forgot to clear as per my request in the final divorce. I communicated with Ms. Griffin's Office to inform her of the mistake, expecting her to correct the problem caused by them neglecting to address this issue (which I had specifically request that they address) in my case and she did not want to accept responsibility, but instead she wanted to charge me $3,500 for an additional retainer to take the case that her office had initially mishandled. Note: she always uses an intermediary and never talked in person. I decided to go to the AG Court on a "Pro Se" basis and when I was there Keiko came in, for a moment I thought she would try to help me; however, I was wrong. She ignored me and pretended to not even seen me, even when I tried to catch her attention. That day the judge in my "Pro Se" case mentioned that the divorce decree was too vague and had not been written correctly. It had been written in a way that works against me. As of today, I am still going to court again on a hearing for "De Novo" trying to clear the typo and the spousal support issue that Keiko's office neglected to finalize. Be careful and think twice before hiring. It is hard to believe that the law firm I hired due to their reputation of being professionals and pro customers does not assume responsibility for their mistakes; however, they see an opportunity to make money on a problem they created.

I am a single mother and was facing eviction. I reached out to the Law Office of Keiko Griffin and Ms. Griffin in my hour of need. She took my case pro bono (free of charge) in compassion for my limited resources and negotiated with the rental company to dismiss the eviction suit. Dealing with a property management company as a tenant is usually a defeated effort but with Ms. Griffin's help my school-aged child and I were able to remain in our home. I must say that Keiko Griffin and her legal team are THE BEST! I was very stressed when I was recommended her law office because I lived out state and had a very short time suspense to respond to my court order. I was given an appointment on the first day calling in! Sherry White (the paralegal that worked on my case) was also the best! She was very kind, readily available and kept me informed on the progress of my case. I was very nervous about the court appearance and Keiko took my hand and prayed with me! Keiko is very knowledgeable, firm and will fight for her client! Bad Business practices
Choosing this law firm to handle my divorce was the largest mistake ever. Due to the lack of promptness, it has cost me at least double the amount to finalize. Their are a lot of hidden fees that come out once you retain. The assistants are also taught to lie and make up things to tell clients to hush them up. Not a good office. I will be writing something that is more detailed and placing it on Facebook for all to see. The military community here should ban their services. I am going to the installation command about informing Soldiers about this company. Not user friendly at all. Over rated.

Go elsewhere, just not to Keiko Griffin's office
I retained Keiko Griffin for a child support and custody modification. I asked for some very easy modifications to my case and over $10,000 dollars later, I got nothing but a raised child support amount. I will say if you are a Military male, do not retain this lawyer or her office. There is another male friendly lawyer in the Temple area. Another example of her office's incompetence is a case of one of my fellow Soldier's case. He established paternity for his child, pays his child support, and is about to move back home after leaving the Army. He asked for the child to take his last name once paternity was established and was told by the judge that he would not grant this because Soldier's have a history of abandoning their children. How can the attorney not win that? The law is black and white. The child was added to the birth certificate after paternity was established, but will not take the father's last name. This is just another case of the State of Texas failing is residents and military. It is actually a disadvantage to being a Soldier in Bell County. The woman will win every time and the male will get mistreated. Keiko does not represent her male clients as she should and as she charges for. But after her failed attempt to represent her client, she sure will collect what her office has charged. DO NOT USE THIS LAWYER!!
