Homeless Shelter

Rooms are dirty, Mold in Bathroom and Shower. The Rooms are dirty and hotel staff seem to be on drugs My car rental tire was slashed and crack is being smoked in hotel court yard. Manager is never around to give complain and have issues address. My family didnt fell safe in this hotel. Lots of illegal activities goes on and it is not safe for families to stay here.

The worst experience every at a hotel chain.

I arrived after a two and a half hour drive. We checking in the hostess/front desk attended was rude, on her phone, never made eye contact, 2nd we get to our room it hasn't been cleaned, dirt in the shower on the shower door, air conditioner had a horrible smell once turned on. I requested a new room. The keys never worked we had to continue to try to open it several times after it was "fixed" fi ally we get another room. The air has the same smell and the door was off the hinges when we tried to close. This was a anniversary trip for my boyfriend and I it was ruined. I feel like a door over is need I would like a comp. Room for the inconvenience and emotional distress. We had to spend more money to find another place to stay because we just drove two hour to get there. It was unacceptable, unprofessional, and un sanitary. I hope this can be resolved before any other serious action have to take place. Also I want a full refund I was told but never spoke with a manager/supervisor the front desk worker was texting her I believe but I'm not sure.

Unpleasant experience Williamsburg,Va

If I could please be directed to the correct contact person about my unfortunate stay at the Williamsburg,Va location. When speaking to front desk about the issues they showed no concern whatsoever. Which would include but not limited too, a toilet that was not connected to the floor, I am currently on crutches for a broken foot and this truly caused a safety issue. I rented 3 rooms for my daughter's wedding and 2 out of the 3 rooms had roaches, no ac in one of the rooms, no TV & smelled of urine in the other, what seemed to be drywall dust in our coffee maker. The hallways had no ac. There was black mold behind the peeling wallpaper, water damage throughout the entire hotel. There was a lot more I would like to speak with someone about. Dirty rooms with blood stained sheets

Stained sheets with odor coming from bathroom sink or toilet. Dirty walls by front door, black crust on the side of toilet. Room felt moisture and dewy. They gave me another room with stain sheets and broken furniture not room #412 and #512. I was told he could not guarantee a clean room, cant transfer to a sister hotel, cant call manager for my refund and can not offer another room because the were full. He sorry the the inconvenience but he will text his manager about a refund but cant call the manger. Apparently this is not the first time on the complaint website someone complain on July 4, 23 of blood stains, dirtiness and odor so this is not a fluke.

Horrible service

On 6/30/23 after driving for 12 hours we went to La Quinta on 100 Mill Rd. McDonough Georgia, 30253. We checked in got our room unpacked and decided to take a nice hot shower. For our surprise, there was no hot water. I called front desk and asked about it and a lady said that they were having some plumbing issues. That it'll take around an hour. I asked her why was this not told when we were checking in and, her polite answer was there's noting I could do about it. We waited for 45 minutes called again and asked for a supervisor, a lady called Monique came to the phone (not much of a help either) once again I asked about the hot water and why were we not advised that there was no hot water this rude lady just proceed to say there's nothing I could do it'll take about an hour the Plumber went out for a part, so that would be around two hours now. I advised that we were going to check out and wanted a full refund to please have everything prepared. We proceed to go down asked for Monique and between her employees nasty and unprofessional attitude well copied from the "manager" she made us wait around 15 minutes for our refund. Once again I told her that this was totally unacceptable while her and her employees looked at each other smiled and Monique in a very sarcastic way offer me some water. This so called "manager" did not know how to deal with this situation nor is a good example for an employee to follow and under no circumstance should have a manager roll. While waiting they kept checking in guest without letting them know the water situation. We will never again use la Quinta and we'll make sure we spread the word.

Customer service

They offered me 3000 points to resolve me not being able to stay in the room I was assigned bc it wasn't cleaned and employees refused to change sheets. There were matching burn holes on sheet and cover so I know the bedding was not changed. When I didn't want to change the sheets my self the front desk person refused to find a way to get them change while I was at an event and checked Me out "since I wasn't comfortable staying there " and refused the room refund when expedia called.

Terrible room

Room was musty, shower head sprayed behind the head, damage above shower, caulk coming out from around tub kit, grout had black molded stains, bathroom vent was full of mold and lint, carpets were nasty in room, hallways and entrance of building. It appears to have people living there full time. You could smell good cooking, dogs barking and children screaming and crying.

Terrible room- very nasty

Our room was very musty, shower head was cracked and spraying behind shower head, grout joints were black, bathroom vent hasnt been cleaned in a long long time!!! Apparently people live at this facility full time. Kids were very loud, all areas with carpet is nasty, animals barking. Dresser looked like an animal had attacked it.

Needs to be known how theses hotels are being ran

Hello I am writing because of the horrible experience I had at the Laquita by Windham hotel in clearwater. This was by far the worse hotel I have stayed at in my life. I saw the bad reviews but decided to give it a chance anyway because of the distance from my job to the room. I had to switch rooms 3 times in 2 days because of the lack of upkeep in the rooms and lack of hotel organization. The first room I stayed in was decent but had a horrible smell of mold or mildew, the second room had a whole in the wall and it also smelled like smoke and mold had a old smell to it thst wouldnt coke out no matter how much I lit incense or candles or room spray and perfume the smell just didnt go away. I was afraid something was going to come crawling out of that hole in the wall in the bathe room 138 so I asked to change my room. As soon as I get comfortable in the new room I go wash my hands and the water fell directly from the sink onto the floor. 110 !!! Because all of those things the rooms have tubs that are peeling and toilets that are so oil it looks stained and dirty, I was put in a pet room because I had my emotional support animal with me and you can tell they just dont update those rooms and the old odor from previous pet smells just will not come out of the old carpet and tiles in those rooms. With all of this being said I also had a rude property front desk employee who was upset because she was working in that dump you can tell, and being frustrated at guest because the AC didnt work in the hotel main lobby and areas. All around that hotel needs to be closed and renovated and the workers needed to be alittle more polite to guest because you never know what someone is dealing with so be polite because your in the hospitality industry. I left today because I couldnt deal with both the rooms being old and unlivable and the employee Mili who needs to be let go. With that being sad of you look at the reviews from booking.com or other sites because Im sure Im not the first to complain you would see my issues being backed by others who have experienced the same thing, a refund would be gladly appreciated for the horrible experience Ive had.

I found horrible conditions in my room and the hallway when loved to floor 3: inches of dust, insects, bed bugs.

They called the police on me for finding their disgusting conditions and threw me out threatening to press trespassing charges because I told another lodger about the mold and bugs. I have images and video

Continuous Slandering and defaming of character by housekeeping employee

To whom this issue/problem may concern: I am temporarily staying here at La Quinta by Wyndham Lynchburg at Liberty University. The overall facility has great amenities and its' proximity to conveniences and the Highway has surely helped with my commute during times of higher inflation. Front desk personnel Mrs. Beverly and Dorian- their' customer service is unmatched! They go above and beyond and always seeing how they can extend help. You don't find these characteristics in people often; especially when dealing day to day with many multi-faceted personalities'. Dorian and Mrs. Beverly are gems. The breakfast accomodations are overwhelming, it reminds me of a Saturday morning breakfast from my childhood. I am always impressed when a hotel is equipped to provide such fixings. The breakfast attendant name is Keisha, I believe, she is friendly and always seems calm. Otis and Greg are the maintenance guys. Always have an encouraging word and can make anyone crack a laugh or smile (especially when you're going thru what I'm going through in life right now) I could literally name most of the staff because of my extended stay. However, regarding a specific individual -- I have delayed in my own actions of contacting corporate because I was discouraged that no corrective training would happen to correct the behavior of LaQuinta's Housekeeping manager: Cameren Banks. I was also discourage by verbal hints to believing that It could be retaliation actions towards me as a guest - terminating my stay as I am here on extended stay as I await the turnkey readiness of my home. This does involve the specific employee name Cameren Banks. My only encounter with her was very strong and aggressive. Since the day of that encounter I purposely avoid her at all cost while in the hotel. Sad to say many guests, google reviews, former employees say many of the same derogatory comments about her which I don't care to repeat in detail because in a world of business, it's juvenile. However, today my concerns are based in continuous defamation of character and slandering of my characters' actions by hotel personnel Cameren Banks. I'm led to believe we live in a world where hurt people try to hurt other people to deal with past traumas and react in ways they are programmed to react. I do believe this incident is recorded on file with the hotel. The day of this incident she approached my "personal space' in a manner my flesh bone could sense that she wanted to initiate bodily harm, multiple times during the incident she stated how she didn't care about the job as if it was a warning before a strike from the hand (the strike never happened - thank God). My perception is that she was making suggestive statements about not caring if she lost her job as a form of intimidation as she approached me. I stepped away because again I felt she wanted to initiate bodily harm; she called my mother several *** How the incident became so strongly fueled, a stable minded person could overstand but logically be disturbed to understand. Her emotions and expressions became enraged and too chaotic to understand as I interjected myself to be mediator of a different situation. Although the dynamic of this situation wasn't like such but in a similar form I learned: sometimes when dogs are quarreling you don't pull them by their' ears. Her strong behavior may be the cause of how she may have felt from my interjection of situation she had no origination in; nor did myself. The situation involved my mother and another employee named Matt (Last name unknown) which is believed that Cameren Banks (Housekeeper Manager) and Matt (Last name Unknown) Fraternizes. So here again may be some reasoning of why such a strong encounter infused with aggression happened. I interceded when I heard the dialogue sound like an argument. Again, this incident is recorded with hotel. Attempting to write out here the full dramatic and chaotic moment is draining energetically especially when this isn't the reason why I'm writing TODAY! Sadly since then Cameren Banks has done many minor things to undermine what a guests' experience should be because of her own personal disinterest towards my stay here or any disinterest she may be carrying mentally because of our first and only encounter. If a person has to be so spiteful undermine in ways no one will notice you. Banks' actions are truly undermining in the sense to neglect the Standard of La Quinta. A great brand. However, today It was brought to my attention she has put forth more slander about my stay here in attempt to remove me. Being threatened, belittled, ridiculed of my homelessness, and the looks of intimidation (When cross paths meet), being lied on, talked about as GUEST is ENOUGH!! Writing this now may seem retaliatory but I when I first had an incident with Cameren Banks I told the manager on duty that I wouldn't go above her chain of command because I did not want to undermine her leadership here. This must be pushed thru to a higher chain of command. Cameren Banks is a cancer to this hotel even while pregnant which may be wearing on her mental capacity. She is not a leader of integrity or morale. Days I operate or work from my laptop, I spend time outside of my hotel room to enjoy the air. During some of those days, I observe her spending countless breaks smoking cigarettes and drinking soft drink sodas at seven months pregnant while simultaneously using her pregnancy as a work restriction. Smoking 3-4 cigarettes in a 1-2 hour time span while pregnant gives an observation to one's mental process. After observing some of her behaviors on break as a leader, one could understand why Housekeeping is short staffed, the morale is low, and google reviews personally calls her out for customer service neglect. I hope an investigation or a background check of some sort is opened at the very minimal. Truly her leadership is unbelievable. I have video footage of my claims.

Deplorable Conditions at La Quinta West Palm Beach

Smells like urine in the room, towels smelled dirty, bath tub clogged up, bath tub chipped and rusted handles in the bath tub.

Bad experience

There was so much Mold in the rooms. There was blood on the wall. Hand prints on the headboards. The sheets, blankets and pillow cases were Visibly dirty. I was told Noone was there to change them. I was given the stuff to change the bedding and clean the bathtub myself. I'm the guest not the house keeper. Complete BS. The TV hardly worked. Breakfast was a joke. Waffles and cereal. I would never recommend this place. Not sure how they are even in service will all the mold in all the rooms.

Filthy run down hotel w no Manager in site

We stayed at the La Quinta Inn in OFallon Illinois on 2 days in early Feb. 2023. When checking in, we requested a room on the opposite side of the building away from the highway traffic as it was located close to a freeway. The (male) clerk said all those rooms had not been cleaned because it was a Sunday, and the housekeepers dont work that day. UNBELIEVABLE. The manager who we never were able to speak with is named Pavan Patel. Our complaints are many, including horrific housekeeping. See photos of dead insects on shelves and windowsill, egg, large cookie, addressed card and envelope, and candy wrapper sound behind nightstands, phone was not plugged in, carpet was filthy, milk, and elevator that someone spilled was never wiped up, even though it was brought to front desk attention, & hay on the room floor, under shelves. We immediately spoke to the front desk clerk working 2/5 at 1700 (approx.) who was from Hyderabad, India, and he offered to let us stay in room 212 That room was equally as dirty, obviously have not been vacuumed, and I showed him the photos of the issues in our prayer room. He shrugged his shoulders is when I asked to speak to the manager ( who was his Uncle) & would be the next AM. We stayed in 312 as it was less dirty than 212. The next AM the male Caucasian front desk clerk said the manager wasnt there. None of the clerks wore name tags so I do not have names so later, when he walked away from me when I was trying to speak with him, he said his name was Matt or Max when I asked. I asked him to let the manager know to call us in our room and also gave my cell number, then went out, and upon returning five hours later, nothing has been done, the clerk asked me what my complaints were, and when I told him the room was filthy, and we wanted to get a refund. He got very agitated and said he wasnt gonna tell the manager anything and stated if you dont like the room, just leave, go find another place Ill give you your money back for tonight. We had our dog and everything unpacked, so we did not want to reload everything into our 6 foot trailer, attach it to our car, and find another hotel. At the morning breakfast which was rather pitiful, one of the waffle irons didnt work, there was no milk, even though there were two dry canisters full of raisin bran and other cereal, there were no knives or forks, and no one to help me find a son, as the lady who is evidently working in the kitchen, was nowhere around. I ate my eggs & waffle w/ a SPOON. I tried calling the front desk the night of 2/6 as I hoped a new employee would be on. No one answered, and after three or four rings, it repeatedly would simply hang up on me. I walked downstairs to find a gray haired clerk finally came to the desk as you can see on the photo had left a note saying be right back she asked if I was checking in and I should know better Id like to speak with the manager and she said shed leave him a message and took my cell phone number. The kind female clerk working 2/7 AM also shared that the manager was not available. We are asking for full reimbursement of our two nights. Stay as it was miserable, dirty, and the scent of marijuana permeated the third-floor both days & nights. When I shared this info w/ 2 front desk clerks the shrugged their shoulders & stared at me. This blatant disregard about cleanliness, marijuana, & sub-par breakfast are very concerning. No wonder this sad Hotel has a 1+ rating on Trip Advisor. We looked at ratings on www.bringfido.com as this hotel allowed digs. Next time we will pay attention. The TOTAL disregard for our complaints is startling. We also tried online to get 'credit' for staying 2 nights prior at other "Wyndam' facilites to obtain our '4th night free.' After 30 min we gave up as there was no way to do this. Please advise.
