Sick kittens

Be glad that your kitten lived. I got one March of 2017 and it only lived until July. It was sick from day one and I have talked to several others that bought kittens from her and they were sick and died. Very unprofessional and poor communication. I found a great breeder in Indiana. She is more expensive but her kittens are healthy. You can email me @ l_seabolt@***.com if you would like. She is not only harming animals she is playing with peoples emotions as i had just lost my grandmother before I got the kitten. Horrible experience.

False representation and no follow though

I purchased a kitten from Kismet Kittens through their internet ad. This was a birthday present for my Granddaughter, albeit an expensive one. The kitten is a male and was represented to be of a mini variety, as they continue to represent their cats to be teacup or other. They send you all kinds of paperwork/contracts about neutering and forms to submit from your Vet when the animal is neutered in order to receive your certificate of registry. Although he is a beautiful, he is full size- in fact quite large- and I have never been able to get his papers from this breeder even though I mailed and emailed the appropriate paperwork. When trying to contact- the breeder was not responsive to any attempt at contact. As stated, he is quite beautiful and definitely comes from a line of Persians with a lovely (not very long) coat BUT he is not a dwarf, teacup, mini or ay other representation than a full size Persian. This was/is very disappointing and a very expense hoax. Please do your research and shop around before making a choice with this breeder.

Kitten died

my kitten died after having her for less than 4 months. 7k in vet bills trying to save her. Blood transfusions, hospital stays. She had a heart murmur at her first vet visit which should have been an indication and the vet who cleared her should have heard this. She was only a pound when she came home. The website says they must be 2 lbs before they will release them. Another kitten from the same litter died 3 weeks before mine. They claim no responsibility but i find it too coincidental that this happened to more than one! I loved her. It was the hardest loss and most expensive situation. They offered me another kitten but how can i do that knowing there is a problem at this cattery, not just a fluke ill cat?

Backyard breeder taking advantage of unknowing families

This business put myself, my husband and my 7 year old daughter through pain and duress like we have never had before. They sold us a tiny 1.5 pound 3.5 month old persian kitten. They provided a health certificate that was obviously a lie. The kitten was not eating enough. After 4 trips and thousands of dollars spent at the vet - the ktiten was diagnosed with FIP. He died in my arms yesterday. My daughter and my husband and I are all devastated. We do not want this to happen to more kittens or families. I want this business shut down. Below is my email exchanges with this business: persiankittyinfo@***.com 7:18 PM (14 hours ago) to me Yes I have received them I do not look over these myself I allow my vet to do that and I come to conclusion with what he tells me is on this report per your contractor you’re supposed to have a clear-cut case of testing done to prove diagnosis Sent from AOL Mobile Mail Get the new AOL app: mail.mobile.aol.com Christie Tillmann 7:22 PM (14 hours ago) to persiankittyin. What difference does the diagnosis even make when either way he had water around his lungs and died a month and a half after I got him? I’ve been through enough - 2 dead cats in 2 months. You do what you feel is right and I will do the same. Christie Tillmann 7:25 PM (14 hours ago) to persiankittyin. I’ve spent almost two thousand dollars in two months on supply’s and vet visits for this kitten. He was dying - I wasn’t going to have the vet draw more blood and torture him further. It wasn’t possible for me to fulfill the contract when I got him right before Christmas and the weekend. If that’s all that matters to you then I’ve heard enough. persiankittyinfo@***.com 7:25 PM (14 hours ago) to me Like I stated in last email we have a process for this if I remember correctly last time we went ahead no questions asked and replaced, The whole reason we have a contract so that people cannot make a false claim we’re not saying that you are because I don’t believe that you are but I do have a process that I have to go through and not going to make an exception. persiankittyinfo@***.com 7:29 PM (14 hours ago) to me You seem awfully defensive for someone that’s making a claim when we asked to have you respect our process that we go through when something like this happens the first time you said this happened we replace the kitten no questions asked even though you did not follow the contract which by the way when the contract is involved we are under no obligation to uphold the healthcare guarantee because anybody can say anything, we respect your right all I’m hearing from you was how much money you’ve spent you’re not respecting that what we need to do to make sure that everything is as you say it is. You can be a irrational but it’s not going to make the result any different Christie Tillmann 7:45 PM (14 hours ago) to persiankittyin. I don’t want a replacement kitten. What made you think that I did? Why would I take the chance of going through this again? I’m not defensive - I’m offended by your remarks. We can agree to disagree and let a third party decide. I’m comfortable with that. I’m out thousands of dollars and pain and horrible suffering and you think the solution is another cat from you? That is irrational. persiankittyinfo@***.com 7:46 PM (14 hours ago) to me Fine if that’s the route you want to take read your contract that’s what you need to go by legally persiankittyinfo@***.com 7:52 PM (14 hours ago) to me The mere fact that you feel you should be refunded money without any proof of what you’re saying to be fact is really irrational also we went above and beyond the last time that you said this happened which you didn’t follow the contract then either and was told about it second kitten we didn’t ask you any questions and we instantly replaced the kitten. The fact that you’re coming at us with the attitude of who cares what the doctor says about testing shows that you know that you did not follow the contract. Further FIP is strictly stated in the contract as not being covered as all cats carry it, which if I remember correctly is what you claimed the first kitten died from and we still replace that kitten. Now that we’re actually asking for actual proof you’re threatening and making all kinds of accusations. Christie Tillmann 7:58 PM (14 hours ago) to persiankittyin. Instantly replaced the kitten? I paid for both kittens. The first kitten died from choking - not FIP. I paid for both kittens separately. You should get your facts straight because all of my facts are on record at the vet. I paid full price and you gave me a mere hundred dollar discount on the second kitten that was sick and underweight. Look back through are text messages - that is legal documentation. There was nothing given to me for free. After reading your better business bureau reviews - I can understand why you are on the defense. I do not care about a ridiculous contract that will not hold up in a court of law. I care that I was sold a very sick kitten that died a month and a half after I got him. I care that I had to put my 7 year old daughter through this. You are creating some seriously bad karma to make money. I wish I would have researched more in advance. I feel sorry for all of your kittens. persiankittyinfo@***.com 8:03 PM (13 hours ago) to me Do as you wish per your email you stated that this was a 2 nd replacement kitten. How ever I’m not going back and forth. Your contract is legally binding you want to sue let’s go, you don’t scare me I’m not afraid of your threats. It’s amazing that the kitten was healthy and thriving with me passed all of its health exams and testing but then you get it and it goes downhill so things could be said on the other side of the fence too. do not contact me again you want to sue let’s go for it you don’t have a case to stand on. Christie Tillmann 8:07 PM (13 hours ago) to persiankittyin. Consider it done. I’ll see you in court so that this doesn’t happen to anyone else. It’s not about the money for me - it’s the principle.

Very dishonest people

This breeder is a nasty woman and her husband is as dishonest as she is. They have a long history of ripping people off. They sell sick kittens to people with no regard to the heartache they cause to families who fall in love with them. They trick other breeders into selling them kittens as companions, then use them as breeders. They rip off people whom they hire to help market their business. There are evil people in the world and Allana Myers and her husband are two of them.

Worth every penny, Got love of my life

I bought Teacup kitten from Kismet Kittens & Allan Myers ( Breeder) helped me from start to pick right kitten for me. My kitten is now 6 weeks old & he is fit and fine. She also suggested me diet for my pet & I am following it since then. As I purchased it online & deposited initial $200 via paypal, after that I called her & made the final payment during my visit to her place. it was bit difficult for me to check everything first, I trusted Allan & she kept all her promises. I personally went to her store to pick up my kitten. I named him Buo.. In this 6 weeks time, I had to take my kitten to vat once for regular vaccination & nothing else.

Scamming Breeder, Sick Kittens, Worthless Health guarantee

Kismet Kittens's website is now down and they are selling on their Facebook page. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THIER CONTRACT OR YEAR LONG HEALTH GUARANTEE. IT IS NOT WORTH THE PAPER IT IS WRITTEN ON!!!!! My kitten died from a cardiac condition that the vet said was genetic and Allana Myers refused to honor the contract and provide a new kitten as the contract obliges her to do. I followed the terms of the contract for no reason, and she is a scamming breeder who will not stand behind her product and clearly does not breed healthy kittens. If you are looking for a kitten beware of Kismet and their false promises.

Dead Persian Kitten, Heartbroken Pet Parent, and Rude Breeder

Be glad if your kitten is still alive. I bought a kitten from kismet and he died during his neuter surgery due to genetic complications. I was more heartbroken and devastated than I could ever convey. The fact that Allan Myers is selling kittens who will end up with fatal conditions is cruel and wrong both for the animals and for the pet parents forced to deal with terrible loss. DO NOT BUY FROM KISMET. Save yourself the headache. Dissuade anyone looking for a persian from going to them as they do not stand behind their product, are rude, clearly do not care about the kittens or anyone else.

Other Product Review

I registered a complaint concerning Kismet kittens. I requested a call back from them and what I received was a text message telling me I was an ignorant buyer and to never contact them again. I would think a reputable breeder would have responded with a phone call. Obviously not a reputable breeder.

Kismet Kittens - Persian Kitten Review from Eugene, Oregon

We purchased a kitten from kismet kittens and thought we were getting a persian kitten. We received no papers on the kitten and it certainly is no persian kitten. It looks nothing like a persian, doll face or otherwise. He doesn't have any resemblance to a persian in the way he looks or behaves. I have shown him to a number of people that breed persians and they were shocked when they seen the kitten. No resemblance to a persian whatsoever. I have no intention of sending threatening e mails or text messages as I realize the breeders will just respond with the same nonsense as they did with the other person that complained. I strongly suggest anyone interested in purchasing a kitten from kismet to go pick up the kitten directly from them so you know for sure what you are spending your money on. I do believe they took advantage of the fact that I am located on the west coast and that's probably why I didn't receive the persian kitten I paid for.

UPDATE

kismetkittens.org AKA persiankittenforsale.com AKA KISMETANGELS owned by Allana Myers AKA Allana Lee sold me a teacup kitten promised to be 5-6 lbs. who turned out to be regular full size cat. I paid $1,350 for the kitten, spent $480 on my plus $120 on kitten's airfare, spent 20 hours & changed 4 planes to fly from California to Florida to get this kitten just because it was promised to be teacup size. It ended up being a regular cat I could've purchased for $600-800 in any including my own town. They say on their site they don't inbreed, but CFA pedigree said my kitten's mother is also her grandmother & her grandma & grandpa are brother & sister. When I contacted the seller to resolve the issues she replied "if you email me again I will call the Feds as cyber harassment is a felony." She lied to me & is completely refusing to discuss the issue. I emailed her again insisting on resolving the issue. She replied "I know the name of your husband's company, if you contact me again I will write my own reviews about your company." I said "you have never done any business with our company, so if you'll write anything about our company it's going to be slander & you will definitely be prosecuted". & she said "I'm also going to call child protection services to tell them you are insane." I have everything in writing: her promising 5-6 lb cat, & CFA pedigree proving inbreeding. This woman ripped me off & is threatening me, my company, & my child. She doesn't know anything about my company or my child, she only met me 5 minutes in her life at Tampa International, yet she's threatening to ruin my life with slander. She profited by lying & cheating. Email me at olyamcguire@***.com - I have all the prove in writing

Attempted Theft of Services, Slander

Kismet Kittens, a Persian cat breeder located in Florida, hired my service in November, 2012, to provide intensive SEO work on her failing website. A great deal of work was done for this client (In excess of 40 hours of work) in accordance with the scope of the project as agreed to. Additional work was provided in the way of creating additional pages of content, including professional copy writing, to help the client's website rank for long tail keyword variations. The client indicated throughout the process that she was very pleased with the work, which was promptly completed over a period of 8 weeks. Once the production site was ready for final review. I contacted Allana and asked her to review the final product so that any final revisions could be done and the new site uploaded to her hosting account. She emailed my advising that she was sick, and would take care of it as soon as she was able. I heard nothing from her for several days. I again contacted Allana several times by email over a period of a few days, but heard nothing back. The following day, I received a notification from Paypal advising that Allana had initiated a chargeback on the money she paid me for the services. Her reason stated was "product not received". I contacted her immediately to find out why she would do such a thing. Her reason was that "she did not hear from me and that I was not communicating with her". She then advised that she had changed her email address (without informing me), and had deleted the email account with which we had always corresponded.I was immediately suspicious that she had always intended to get her money back after I had provided the services. She and her husband, who is apparently involved in the computer field, had wanted me to upload the new website files to their private server, prior to final approval.Upon confronting her about the chargeback, Allana was apologetic, and stated that she didn't understand much about computers, and did not realize that her chargeback would immediately remove the money I had already earned from my account. She agreed that she would reverse the chargeback, and asked that I modify the format of a couple of files that she was concerned about, since I had implemented the use of php includes to display information from one page within another, instead of using "frames" which she had been using (which effectively render the content of a page unreadable by the search engines). She reversed the chargeback, and I agreed to make the change (against my better judgement, considering the detrimental effect frames have on search engine ranking). The changes were made promptly the very day I spoke with her. I then emailed her (at her new address) and asked her again to review the production site so that we could finalize the job.Lo and behold, instead of even looking at the finished website, which was very well done and would have given her a dramatic boost on the search engines, she once again attempted to initiate a charge back on Paypal. Fortunately Paypal will not allow a charge back twice for the same transaction. She then emailed me and made all kinds of threats to ruin my reputation, sue me, etc., etc., if I did not return "her money" immediately. The services had been more than provided, and I even had out of pocket expenses for a Facebook advertising campaign that I am sure helped her sell more than a few kittens.I have been in business for more than 14 years providing services to small pet related businesses, and have not once had a complaint filed against me. I have many, many clients for whom I have obtained high positions for competitive keywords on Google, including the #1 listing for Persian Kittens on Google. My track record and good reputation speak for themselves.Allana Myers has since been posting completely false information about this situation throughout the internet. Her posts are patently ridiculous, and it seems obvious through her writing that she is upset that she didn't get away with stealing services from me. She has also been posting as "another unsatisfied customer", however it is obvious in the rambling, nonsensical statements that it is the same individual doing the writing.Allana Myers actions speak of someone who is very well-versed in the intricacies of filing charge backs, and I would expect that she has done this before to other service providers. There are two sides to every story, Allana, and I have the files, documentation and statements you made to me in emails to back up my side of things.
