Warranty

i have questions regarding my lifetime warranty mattress. It is sinking more than 1.5 inches and I am not sure what to do. Any thoughts? I don't want to be a pain..the retailer that we purchased from has gone out of business (of course). Please let me know your thoughts. I have all paperwork.

Mattress (Kingsdown Romance Reflection set) has too much sagging (dips)

Hello, We have had too many back aches getting up in the last year. We do rotate the mattress every 3-4 months. Tried getting new pillows also and still have back aches. I am constantly rotating from back to side positions every night. I have to stretch every morning in order to function properly. The set is not very old and should be much more supportive. Our mattress set was delivered on July 22, 2017 (and bought on July 17, 2017). It is the Kingsdown Romance Reflection Mattress & base (highest end they had) & believe this is the code G2PL PE, F3364, 71 from Sears Canada. There is also a reference #286134** **1001**** C (hope this helps). Thanking you in advance for your cooperation in this matter. Luciano Paseli (514-718-****) / Mary Miele Paseli (514-708-****)

Poor quality and warranty support

Kingsdown Inc. Mattress and Metro Mattress in Buford, GA I purchased a mattress manufactured by Kingsdown Inc. in 2017 from Metro Mattress in Buford, GA. In the fall of 2021, the mattress had developed a sag in the area considered the center mass of the body around the hips. Im a big man 63 210lb but not disproportionately distributed. The mattress has become a hammock to sleep in. This is not a cheap mattress in fact it was very expensive, Kingsdown top of line product. I contacted the store I purchased the mattress from, Metro Mattress in Buford, GA. They informed me that I needed to contact the manufacture for any warranty claim. I subsequently contacted Kingsdown Inc. to begin the process. Kingsdown Inc. in the biggening was very attentive and positive about my concerns. After describing the problem, they decided to send a field tech to look at their mattress. This tech took all of his measurements around the perimeter of the mattress but did not look at the area of the mattress that was at issue. Pursuant to this techs repots Kingsdown determined that they had no warranty liability, sent me the report including pictures of the measurements that were taken. These pictures clearly showed where and how these measurements were taken. They also sent a copy of the warranty and different warranty schedules showing that this mattress had a 20 year non prorated term. I responded to their warranty denial expressing disagreement with the report and the methodology used in determining the existence of the mattress problem. Following this exchange all I received from Kingsdown Inc. were duplicate canned letters speaking to their great integrity and their support of their product. Kingsdown has neither of these corporate characteristics. So, a warning to the wise. Steer clear of any products manufactured and sold by Kingsdown Inc. Bill Hart Nicholson, GAdo not buy

Garbage mattress and garbage company, mattress isn't even a year old and it's sunken completely through the middle. Worst mattress I've ever owned.

Mattress was damaged during delivery

A year ago today I bought/replaced a 7 year old mattress that died, i got a less than paid credit and went to the store to buy a new one, there was a new manager with not too much patience and was very rough and rude to say the least, to make a long story short, even though I told him again and again that I do not want a Hybrid mattress, but a pillow top spring mattress, he directed me to try a mattress that felt OK, and I had to add $1007 on top of the $2555 that was credited for my old mattress, I only found out after the mattress was delivered that he sold me a Hybrid mattress. when the mattress was delivered the two Brothers (nice guys) had some trouble pushing it through the front door, they forced it down and the Mattress totally collapsed in the door, finally they got it in, the mattress looked fine, so i signed for it, and they left. it took a while when i realized that approx. 24" from the left facing the headrest there is a bulge, not visually, but something inside the mattress must have got damaged, now i have two choices, to try to line myself perfectly on top of the ridge, or it makes me roll off of the ridge in either direction, inward, or fall off the mattress, I am struggling with this a year now, I tried to lay over it with the hope that it will collapse, but nothing works, and I can't go on struggling with this issue, on an over $4000 mattress after discounts. I do not believe it is a warranty issue, as it was a concealed damage caused by the movers, please advise what action I should take, to replace this mattress and getting the value I paid for dearly, as I didn't even get one good night sleep out of this mattress. The movers were two fairly young Brothers, they told me that they are originally from Puerto Rico, they were very polite and nice, but something happened to my mattress when it collapsed within the door frame. Your urgent attention to this matter, and favorable reply will be greatly appreciated. Mattress pecluiarity

I would appreciate a response to why the twin mattress purchased at BAUMAN'S in GARNETT, KS has a wood underside and cannot be turned over as other mattresses for longer life?

Replaced one month old this one is almost the same thing!

Kingsdown Malbec, had it one month: springs began to push against fabric at side of pillowtop, sag developed in the center of this full size mattress IN ONE MONTH. First three weeks, horrible pain! now a replacement Meritage (these are both made specially for MattressFirm). It's supposed to be "softer', doesn't feel that way to me. I'm giving this thing one month. If it develops the same coil problem and "dip" it's going back. I don't trust this thing will last more than two years at most and $4000 is A LOT OF MONEY. I

Question about Customer satisfaction

It put me through to a voicemail so I hung up. I am so dissatisfied with my Matress. I wanted to know if there was a satisfaction guarantee? Could someone answer this??? I was told it was an outstanding mattress and I am not satisfied at all. I had a firm hybrid and it was defective so then I got the puffy hybrid and I sink in it. I have back problems among other problems and this is a disaster for me. I have spent a $1000 and hate it. Can something be done????

Sagging

I am one of many that have neck and back issues due to my very expensive Kingsdown mattress sagging in the middle. I have not followed through on a complaint since after reading the BBB replies, they do not take ownership of a common problem and instead attempt to blame the bed frame, stains or just the user. The mattress sags so terribly that my husband and I roll to the middle and are practically on top of one another! There needs to be a class action lawsuit about these mattresses!

Do not buy the Kingsdown plush mattress; it sags after only 8 months

And I was not able to contact the manufacturer and the retailer, Bedding Barn, is giving me the run around. I have photos of the mattress and will submit them below. I spoke t sales person Brandon in September, 2019 at the Deerfield Beach, FL store and he directed me to "bbarn@***.net, as did George and Jim, with whom I later spoke. I sent an email to bbarn on 9/23/19 but never received a response. I copied that email below. Please respond and let me know if you will have someone come and check it or give me a credit for a new mattress. Thank you very much, Maria H. Gross Mon 9/23/2019 6:57 PM Dear Sir/Ms. I was referred to you by Brandon, the salesperson at Bedding Barn in Deerfield Beach, Fl, who said you would be able to assist my husband, Joel Gross, and me by providing us with a resolution to what we are experiencing. My husband and I tested a Kingsdown Cypress king size Mattress ET Plush 22028 in the showroom. We really liked it; so, we bought it on November 28, 2018. The receipt number is 147640. It included a box spring with the frame measuring five inches thick. We paid $1,436.28 including a mattress pad for $69.28. The mattress that was delivered did not seem to be as firm as the one in the showroom. We spoke to Brandon about it. He said that the mattress was just settling in. However, over the past few months, it is getting softer and is sinking in the spots where my husband and I sleep. It gives in/dips considerably when I move around the mattress. I tested this increasing sinking/softness by moving to the edge of the bed, too close for comfort, and I found it a little bit firmer. However, it was not as firm as the mattress in the showroom. The dips in the mattress where we sleep are visible to the naked eye after we get up. Just to let you know, we are not overweight. The mattress is also quite uncomfortable. I am getting back pain and pain in my left hip that radiates down to my calf. The pain is so bad it wakes me up. I cannot sleep on my side for more than two to three hours without pain. Moving to the sides of the mattress also did not relieve the back/hip/leg pain. I am so disappointed because I really liked the mattress in the showroom. When I mentioned all of this to Brandon, he said he does not handle these matters and that I have to contact you by email. Hence, this email. Brandon also said that Bedding Barn has a ten-year warranty on the mattress, but he said the mattress should last a lifetime. I would like another mattress that is identical to the one in the showroom; one that does not create pain; one that is firm enough throughout the entire mattress; one that does not sink in/dip when I move around it; one that is firm where I ultimately decide to sleep; and, finally, one that bounces back to its original shape after I get up. If you need more information, please let me know. Please let me know what we can do together to solve this problem. Thank you very much. Maria Helena Perides-Gross 954.596.0827
