Company is a scam

Their app isn't accurate it says I don't have a payment due in September my pay off amount went up 400$ even though I just made a payment you call and talk to people your going to get different answers to your questions and there very rude do not finance with this company it is a nightmare I will be refinancing asap

I have a 2014 kia soul that i got a new title...

I have a 2014 kia soul that i got a new title from north carolina dmv that says kia motor finance has an electronic lien attached and the dmv will not mail my title to me until kia motor finance removes the electronic lien. I have owned my 2014 kia soul for almost a yr now and it has been broken into twice. If it gets broken into for a third time i am going to trade it in for a different vehicle but in north carolina i have to have my title to do that.

Lease Assumption By Me

My Mother Dolores Passed Away & Her Lease Is Not Finished. I AM Her Son. The Eldest OF (2) Siblings. My Sister Maria Is The Executrix & IS NOTTT INTERESTED IN THE CAR !!! However IcWould Certainly Continue The Lease It Is A 36 Month Lease & I Believe We Paid Near 50% OF Thst Lease. For Over A Month I Have Contacted Kia Finance To See " AS A COURTESY " TO MY MOM LEASING THIS NOW 2ND KIA. WE HAD GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE AT THE LEHIGHTON KIA DEALERSHIP. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM KIA FINANCE WAS " A NIGHT-MARE " AS I SPOKE WITH 20 DIFFERENT AGENTS .NORMALLY AT DEALERSHIPS I SOLD FOR, UPON A " LOSS OF A LOVED ONE " A " LEASE ASSUMPTION " WAS PROVIDED BY TAKING A CREDIT APP & EVEN IF THE CREDIT WAS LOWER THAN THE DECEASED LEASEE, MOST DEALERSHOPS STILL THROUGH A BIT OF A HIGHER INT RATE AS " A COURTESY " LET THE IMMEDIATE SIBLINGS OR INTERESTED SIBLING LEASE THE CAR. MOM HAD PUT DOWN A NICE SUM OF MONEY TO LOWER THE PAYMENT & THEY MADE A NICE BUCK ON THIS CAR !!! NOW THE BUYOUT IS RIDICULOUS. MONEY/MONEY/MONEY. I'M WELL AWARE OF THE MARKET. IT'S A KIA NOT A LEXUS LOL. STILL A NICE CAR W LOW MILES & I WAS AWARDED HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Faulty app and payment system

Their app works about 10% of the time and you may have an hour wait speaking to someone. When they finally decide to take your payment out they report late and refuse to take any responsibility on their part. If you adk to speak to a supervisor you can forget it! I was on hold multiple times for 45 min or longer only to have a recording pick up to say no one is available. My perfect for over a decade car payment history was ruined due to their issues (told me they had staffing issues) and I'm supposed to grant mercy which I love but they have absolutely NONE! I never had issues with GMAC or any other financial company but theirs. If you buy a Kia use your own financing!!

Car was totaled, purchased new one Kia placed a charge off status on the totaled care which is the same as a repossession.

Purchased the extended warranty and gap policy from Kia and the gap portfolio when buying the car. When car was totaled my insurance paid off majority of loan except the 1300.00 that gap was supposed to cover. Both kia and portfolio argued and dragged their feet regarding giving info to each other. Once I contacted the VP of gap portfolio about matter they assured expedited pay off. Then Kia reported loan status as a repo/ charge off this has affected my credit rating significantly and I want it fixed. Regards Lesa morgan

Skip payment for 2 mounths

I'm asking for the skip cause my engine seized and its been in the shop for 2 months. It's under warranty but come on I have no car. Why am I paying for it if it's a problem that kia knew about but wants to wait til it seizes to fix it. They should take the payments off not charge at all but we all know that's not going to happen. Any advice

END OF LEASE OVERCHARGE

2020 KIA Telluride.My original lease started in 9/23/2019 and was issued By Sussex Kia of Newton,NJ .The original lease was for $595.00 per month for 36 months,with a buyout price of line D Residual Value $27,021.00 and lease purchase option fee of $300.00, for a total of $27,321.00.That being said with NJ sales tax 6.625% the total due for my buyout should have been $29,131.02.I downloaded from my Kia website a buyout figure and it showed the amount due as $29,604.17 First I called the original dealer purchasing dealer Sussex Kia but they had gone out of business and the new dealer/Major Kia of Sussex,NJ and they had no original paper work from the original dealer and could not help me at all.They said to contact Kia Finance for help,which I did.After numerous phone calls and emails,I received no satisfaction to the overcharge on my lease buyout.With that being said and a due expiration date of 10/24/2022 I reluctantly made a payment for $29,604.17 on 10/12/2022. With all this being said I am seeking a refund of $473.15 for the overcharge on the 2020 KIA Telluride buyout option.ZERO RESPONSES FROM KIA

They are not good. They use dealers to make you pay more than normal. Try to finance with other options and be vigilant with everything they do in the financing processMi kia 40 thousand dollars ended up costing me 55 thousand

Failure to provide lein release

Lease terminated per agreement and $16,000.00 paid to purchase Soul at lease end on June 16, 2022. After 11 months of attempting to get Kia to release lein and provide title for car, we are still nowhere. Kia sent the wrong documents to the California DMV in 2022 when the car was paid off, as agreed. Since then, it has been a series of run arrounds, deceptions and pathetically poor business practices. We have spoken to many customer service reps, supervisors, managers, etc. It is a circus and absolute runaround. Always the same crap. It is in process and some mystery "Title" department that we cant access has to do a "Process". I started this last August when nothing showed up from the June payoff. I was fighting cancer and could not chase these children around until April 2023 again. After DAILY calls, we are still without proof from Kia that they are paid. Kia agrees that everything was terminated correctly. Paid in full. Perfect Payment history. Check for 16,000.00 payoff was cashed by kia in strict accordance with the contract. They say everything is perfect. Yet in nearly a year, and 50+ conversations, they cant supply what they legally owe us. It looks like we will probably need to file a complaint with the State Atty General and California DMV to compel Kia to produce the documents and honor their responsibilities. This is almost impossible to believe. But real it is.

Fail to supply title

These guys tale the cake for absolutely bottom level service. Dishonest, irresponsible, and frankly, should be delicensed to do business in America. After paying off 2019 lease ($ 17,000.00) paid 11 months ago, I still do not have my title. i have leased 13 vehicles with Ford Motor. Never a problem or hick-up. Kia even have the State of CA scratching their head. They claim the Sent it. Lol. The DMV said the idiots sent the wrong paperwork. They sent a release of liability. Not a release of interest. Go Philippines! Thats who you Will talk to, even when a case is elevated. We are filing a court action seeking damages and will petition the state atty general to seek sanctions against the company. Their lack of any form of honesty or decent business practices cost me serious money for a home loan interest rate. This is the worst finance company I have ever encountered. Avoid at all costs.
