QA/QC not at Keystone stay away

I have a 2021 Keystone 3700FL and have had numerous issues with it. My roof had to be repaired, there is zero insulation in the front cap, I have a half wall dividing my kitchen and living room which has my furnace and my circuit breaker panel in a cabinet the wall underneath the cabinet has a 3x4ft hole in it for a cable raceway, i have had to repair 2 slideouts since they were installed incorrectly, I used a FLIR camera to check my rv out at the beginning of the summer and found numerous massive air leaks from the front cap, under the stairways, from the slideouts, under the kitchen sink which had a 6x6 hole for pipe penetrations which wasn't sealed, under both bathroom vanities, AC ducting crushed and holes in the foam board, blocked ducting so no AC flow on one side from each AC unit, windows and seals had to be replaced, the list can continue. So if your looking for an rv my recommendation would be shop around more before you purchase a Keystone product(I have multiple friends that have keystone rv's and they have had the same issues and a couple had way more issues than myself. And dont even bother with customer support or claiming issues with Keystone it honestly is better to just not buy one of their rv's and save the headache)

Horrible experience

We are so upset with the problems we have had. We have barely even used our RV. Since we purchased, we had to replace water pump, air conditioner was replaced less than a year ago and now it's out again. We had to replace the entire refrigerator. The front jack that let's the rv up and down off the hitch quit working. Molding has came loose from ceiling, battery had to be replaced. We had to put a manual cutoff on our fresh water tank because it kept leaking. I just don't think we should have all of these issues with a brand new purchase. I could understand if it was used, but this is ridiculous. It seems everytime we go to use it, we find something else wrong. This will not be our last rv purchase, but with the feelings we have now, it will be our last Keystone purchase.

Poor quality

Purchased new Keystone Outback 240urs. The RV is less than 1 year old. Was getting it ready for this year's use and it has major leaks, front left wall, the front cap, front right wall, right left window both sides and rear right window. I figured approximately 18 linear horizontal feet of wall will be replaced on this 24 foot camper along with the floor. Dealer claims it will take over a month to fix. I reached out to Keystone dispute resolution and waiting on a reply. Camper has only been used 5 times. For this many leaks it has to have structural problems. This is ridiculous on a new camper.

I am writing this review because I was under the impression we were buying a brand new 2023 camper and we’re sold a 2022 $70,000 showroom/ expo model.

Buyers Beware!!! Absolutely disgusted with Keystone and Petes RV in Vermont! My husband and I were buying a brand new 2023 camper. Come to find out it was already a year old and the showroom model, that was at the Expo that we went to, where hundreds of people traipsed through. It is a 2022 KEYSTONE Cougar 354FLS. We have had it for three months and within the first month things were falling apart, nails and staples coming out, a patch in the wall paper, the slide out is leaking when it rains, the doors don't close unless they are slammed, the television *** out in the second month, trim is not lined up correctly and is falling off the walls, the nightstand rotted from the water, paper pealing off the corner trim, shelving falling apart and so much more. When I contacted the dealer months ago, they passed me from one person to another and then told me to contact Keystone. I contacted Keystone, and they told me it was the dealers' problem and offered $150 towards a tech to come. I should not have to pay anything! I have been waiting for someone to contact me to let me know when and if someone is coming. I have requested several times to have a new camper, one that is worth the money that I am paying now for this one. I am so frustrated and angry. I am paying $70,000 for a camper that is falling apart! I used all of what I had to purchase this.

Frustrating I cant get someone to come get this camper for repair and to make it right

Original review May 24, 2023
I purchased a 2023 keystone Springdale (brand new)from camping world in Lincoln, NE. Drove it 230 miles to my home to find aluminum siding coming off and causing a few dents in the siding. Weather stripping came off the corners in transport to reveal screw holes without screws in them. I get 8 miles to the gallon and the dealer wants me to drive back, so they can inspect it and order parts, and then return when parts are in. They failed in the PDI, and now it's on me.

Help with Local Dealer HOLLAND RV PALM DESERT

I need help getting my 2022 Keystone Cougar 290RLS back from Holland RV in Palm Desert, where it has been for 4 months for warranty service. I have gotten excuse after excuse from Holland's Service Department about not being able to replace the broken ladder or the extruded metal bumper piece that were both damaged prior to our purchase. They agreed in writing to replace both on their Due Bill. They fired their previous Service Manager Michelle and promised me Sean the new Service Manager was going to fix me right up. He assured me himself in our first phone call that he is an expert at keeping the customer informed and getting problems solved quickly. It's been 3 weeks since he said, "I'll call you tomorrow and let's get your coach back to you so you can enjoy it." I am beyond frustrated with the horrible service Holland has provided and it is reflecting very poorly on Keystone that this dealer treats a customer like me so terribly once the purchase has been made. I paid for a premium 5th wheel and can't even get it delivered with the promised repairs in a timely manner. We love our RV, but have not been able to use it even once. We took delivery in May 2022, and were finally able to schedule the service promised on November 3rd 2022. We are still waiting for the repairs to be completed. They have had our RV almost longer than we have! Meanwhile, I faithfully make my loan payments and pay for my storage space every month. Sean, Service Department Manager at Holland RV in Palm Desert (800) 610-**** states that the wrong ladder was shipped to them (that has happened twice) and he has no idea when or if he can get the metal bumper piece that was dented on their own lot before purchase. They haven't even discussed fixing the fiberglass body that is also damaged. I offered that if repairs are that difficult to make, credit $5,000 to my loan and let me take it elsewhere for service. I have asked for a call from Chris Cruickshank, General Manager, but have received no call back. I'm wondering if it is time for legal action.

Pos... never buy a keystone rv!!

I bought a 2021 keystone passport and the air Conditioner has been replaced 3 times, the hot h20 heater broke within the first month, and now a wall is rotting due to lack of sealant that was never applied from the factory. It has been unusable for the last 2 summers and a total waste of money.

2013 montana high country 318 re

I need a solution to OUR issue, i purchased rv above brand new, traded in a great jayco 5th wheel rv. I've had issues with the Montana since day one but have taken care of everything on my own. Now here I am 2023, with a 2013 5th wheel montana high country 5th wheel that needs a complete paint job, I have done my research, this has been an issue with these campers sincne company started with a darker brown, now company is painting them grey or white... Back to my Jayco, rv still had a great paint on it when i decided to buy a montana high country as this was supposed to be the best of the best. Please help me with OUR paint & decal issue on a design that manufacture came up with that does not hold up, this includes both paint & decals. Looking forward to hearing back from you in the near future regarding OUR issue with paint & decals on rv. Thank you for your valuable time, I really appreciate it. Best regards Bob Metz

Lack of customer service on warranty claims

My wife and I bought a brand new 2021 Keystone Arcadia in September of 2021. In October of 2022 we noticed water damage on the park side slide out. Took it in for a warranty claim and are still waiting on parts. Now I am sure there is a mold issue since every time it rains water comes in . Customer service tells us the can't help. DO NOT BUY A KEYSTONE RV !!! We have a 70K fifth wheel that is useless to us and untradeable.

Quality of Keystone travel trailer

First of all there isn't enough room here for the complaints that I have. The quality of the manufacture of the Coleman Lantern 334BH is the worst ever!!! Manufactured in July of 2021, purchased Nov 2021. Door wouldn't lock because Keffer was upside down. Radio speakers didn't work and still don't work, Slide out was messed up, no toilet paper rod, staples sticking out of ceiling, vent cover in bathroom cracked, screen door hitting frame, screen door won't stay closed, dinning room table seating screws missing, Hot water heater rod corroded and had to be replaced, Called several times with complaints as well as calling Camping world (Greenville NC) Then I call back to Keystone about the radio speakers still not working and I'm told the warranty is out! Looking to trade this piece at RV show in Raleigh for something that has good quality and customer service. And will be calling TV 5 on your side to let the world know how bad the quality is on Keystone products.

Poor craftsmanship interior

Brackets for Kitchen table were not lined up properly and pulled right out of the wall. I needed to place a shim behind the bracket to clear the window ledge and stronger screws. (picture 1) Molding across bedroom ceiling and around door were falling down. No one could tell me how thick the ceiling or outside wall was so I could anchor it back. I was told they use spray glue. 3/8" brads work. Drawer guides for one drawer just fell apart (ball bearings all over). (picture 2 & 3) Looking inside, there was no support for the guides, just broken plywood. I rebuilt the inside and requested new guides for both sides. I received one channel in the mail. Never mind, I ordered new guides from Amazon. I took delivery in December. Unit is winterized. I can't wait to see what happens when I un-winterize the unit.

Our RV Flooded on Day 1

In Feb. 2022 my husband and I purchased a new 2022 Keystone Arcadia RV for $69,000. Delivery on 2/11/22; we went to fill our water tanks on 2/25/22 and within 25 minutes our entire RV flooded with water. We shut off the hose attached to the outside of the camper and rushed to soak up the water spanning from under the bed, closets, down the stairs, into the living room & bathroom. The first problem was that the water tank never registered; saying the tank was empty the entire time. Our main reason for this complaint, is that the manufacturer never tunneled the overflow water tube to go outside the camper. Instead it was laid the under the bed, with nowhere for the water to go except onto the floor. It flooded our unit. Not only interior, but was pouring out of outside storage compartments, the mechanical auto leveling system & underbelly. This was a HUGE manufacturer flaw. The entire unit is a liability based on the water damage, potential rot/mold caused by water damage, and potential damage to electrical, all caused by the flaw in production at Keystone. We immediately called Keystone and reported it. We told them we did NOT want this unit any longer as it was clearly made wrong and we would not be held responsible for this camper and all the problems it could now have based on the total flooding that took place, not to mention potential health hazards if mold begins to grow. They told us to get it to the service department at the lot which we purchased it from, which we did, so they could have it inspected. Keystone Company and the lot agreed it was a manufacturing mistake. They said they would do a repair. We told them no, that we wanted either a full refund, replacement, or full warranty to guarantee that in the future, if any problems arise based on this, we would not be held liable for the cost of repairs; this was their mistake. They told us no and are refusing to make any reparations for their mistake; reparations which we are willing to accept. The camper was made wrong, and they are refusing to take any responsibility in correcting this problem. What does Keystone do to right the wrongs to their customers. I want to tell myself they'll do the right thing here but no progress has been made.
