Journeypass! SCAM ALERT!!!!

The exact same thing happened to me! I did online survey for a $100 Walmart gift card, then later got a phone call from 877 810 **** to make sure that my name and address were correct and said i would receive the gift card by UPS within 2 days.they said they needed my credit card number for a processing fee of $4.95 and would have to take an over the phone survey. When I did not agree to the terms a supervisor came on the line and assured me that only the $4.95 would be billed and I could cancel the trial offers at any time. First, they never made good on their promise of sending my walmart card within 2 days. In fact they NEVER sent me any GIFT card. When i called 4 days later and told them i never received my gift card....they said they had no record of my cell number nor any record of me. I then told them i wanted to cancel, they Said they couldnt cancel anything when they originally said i could cancel at any time. LIE AFTER LIE AFTER LIE, ITS A SCAM! Not only did they charge me $4.95 but also + $2.95 +$3.95 + a couple other charges i NEVER AUTHORIZED. It is obvious from other victims of this scam that even when they cancelled, they still got billed monthly. I called my credit card company to notify them of the scam. I am getting a new credit card so that no additional fraudulent charges can be made on my account.

Promises of gift card scammed in return

I did an online survey for a $100 Walmart gift card, got a phone call a couple days later to make sure that my name and address were correct and that I would receive the gift card by UPS within 2 days. I was told they needed my credit card number for a processing fee of $4.95 and would have to take an over the phone survey. When I did not agree to the terms a supervisor came on the line and assured me that only the $4.95 would be billed cause I could cancel the trial offers at any time and he gave me the phone numbers to the companies. The next day I noticed the charge from journeypass for $4.95. I called the companies with no problems, cancelled with no problems till I got to journeypass. First call they told me that I could not cancel because I was not in their system which I replied if I'm not in your system how did you charge me. I tried again a few days later and got a confirmation number for the cancellation. A week later I get a welcoming packet from journeypass, so I called the number in the packet to cancel AGAIN. And again I got a confirmation #for cancelling. Last month I noticed journeypass took money out of my account so I called my bank and bank told me that those charges were reversed, surprise they weren't. And now this morning I was checking and lo & behold another$29.95 and to make it even better last month charges had been taking out of my account too. Since calling 3 times to be cancelled didn't work I went straight to my bank and started a fraud case. And no, I never did get my $100 Walmart gift card.

Mislead!!!

I got a call from someone saying I could get a $100 Walmart gift card by paying $4.95. Then asked me to listen to an automated service regarding a lot of other programs that I could enroll in to save me money. I explained I wasn't interested but he said it was part of the program. I agreed. The automated voice was speaking so fast, I could hardly understand what they were saying. When asked if I accept the terms, I answered no. The guy got back on the phone and told me just to say yes. Told him I did not want this but he kept assuring me that no money would come out of my account. Only the $4.95 he was charging me. Should've just hung up then and there. But I wanted to believe that this was legitimate. He assured me there would be a packet coming to me and if i wanted to enroll in any of those programs, I could do so at that time. Well, needless to say, I never received any information or packet in the mail. For the next week, I began having all these companies take out money from my bank account. I immediately called them and explained what had happened. All have been nice enough to refund my money and cancel any membership. All that is except for Journey Pass!! I tried calling them only to sit on the line for almost 20 minutes each time waiting for a representative to answer. No one ever did. So I emailed them from their website, where it says CONTACT US. They emailed me back thanking me for contacting them. Told me someone would be emailing me back to take care of the problem. Again, no one ever did!! So just recently, I get another $29.95 ping on my account. I was livid!! I finally just got through to them, explaining what the situation is and they very politely told me they couldn't refund any of my money. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? I asked Rita, "if you can't refund the 1st $29.95, why can't you refund the 2nd charge. I sent an email to you? And with all the money your company is making, $60.00 is not going to hurt them!! Besides, if this were happening ro you, I'm certain you would react the same way!" All she would say was I couldn't get a refund, but we can send you a $50 gift card to any restaurant that was in our area. REALLY??!!! At the end, I still did not get my Walmart gift card! Just a bunch of aggravation! CONSUMER BEWARE!!!

Never got what was promised

was promised a walmart gift card in the amount of $100 and never received anything but they billed my account anyways. this is a fraud and people need to be made aware and someone should refund all the money being taken from people. Now i'm out money and have to go to my bank to put a stop payment on this and that costs more money just because this company lied to me about a walmart gift card. people try to get ahead in life and when offered something that sounds like it will help their families in turn all it does is hurt their financial records.

"Hijacked" Phone Call

On December 09, 2015 I was making a call to Sprint for customer service but as the call was being completed a man's voice (Indian?) came on, seemingly to represent Sprint, offering a one time $100 Wal-mart gift card for being a good customer. A processing fee of $4.99 was all that was needed to have the card sent to me in 3-5 days. Being in a hurry and thinking the offer was made with Sprint's blessing, I gave my card info to the caller. Big mistake. Never received the "gift card" and 2+ weeks later a charge of $24.99 was added to my credit card account in the name of "JourneyPass" for who knows what. I contacted Sprint and they have never heard of the company or had any business dealings with them nor does the company represent Sprint in any way. After calling my bank, I have found that the only way to stop being charged and to get a refund is to cancel the card that was used for the charges and have a new one issued under a fraud claim. Big hassle but a learning experience even for a fairly savvy person as I believe I am. This is an obvious fraud, albeit well run. Unfortunately, if it gets this far the scam/fraud has already taken place.
