Don't Waste Your $$ at Jolly's Piano Bar

Spend your time and money elsewhere because this place is not equipped to handle reservations or groups of any size. The drinks are watered down and the atmosphere is cramped and dirty. Bachelorette parties flock to this place for a fun night or singing and dancing so I made a reservation to include open bar for our group for 2 hours, a round of shots, a table near the pianos, bachelorette decorations on the table and a roast where the guest of honor would be called up onto stage for a little fun. We arrived on a Saturday night right on time for our 10:00pm reservation and the hostess was completely caught off guard, as if she wasn't expecting our group. She happily collected our money and fastened colored bracelets to our wrists and tried to send us on our merry way. When I inquired about our table, she looked at me as if I had three eyes and scurried off to improvise. And improvise, she did. She seated us at two dirty tabled that she quickly pulled together with no decorations in sight. When I inquired, she grabbed the manager who informed me that our decorations were left out and as a result, were ruined. He then offered to give me a few bucks back. When I began to express my dissatisfaction, he hastily offered a free bottle of cheap champagne for the table. In effort to keep the night positive, I took the money and accepted the bottle of champagne. By 11:55pm, we had not received our round of shots and our guest of honor had not yet been brought onto stage for her roast. Once again, I had to seek out the hostess about both and she ran up on stage to inform the pianist. At that point, everyone in the bar was hammered and our group was losing interest in the cheesy show-tune performances and it was clear that her roast was an after-thought. My advice to bridal parties trying to plan a fun, hassle free night out with the girls: Don't waste your time or money at Jolly's. The entertainment is mediocre at best, the drinks are severely watered down and the sticky tables/floors will ruin those carefully selected heels.
