Bad Oil Leak caused by Jiffy Lube also didn't Replace a Part

Caused a Major Oil Leak to My Vehicle, Tighten the Oil Filter to Tight to Oil Filter Housing, causing it to be warped and Leaking Oil Badly, (had 2 Licensed Auto Repair Mechanic Shops to Look at it, telling me in full details what happenalso didn't Replace My LOWER ENGINE SPLASH SHIELD COVER Correctly, only putting back in 1 Screw when it requires 3 Screw to Secure and Tighten when they took it off,..causing my Shield Cover to come off while Driving, took My Vehicle back to Jiffy Lube less than 12hrs Refused to Fix or Repair My Vehicle...need to talk to someone in Corporate or I'm getting a Lawyer..bcuz this need to be resolved, I try to Patronize Jiffy lube even after Bad Reports...Mechanic and Myself took Pictures and Videos of Leak, Damage and Parts..I even text the Store Manager after getting 2nd Opinion about my vehicle after I left the His Managed Shop..I more Pictures and Videos, won't let me send them

Almost destroyed my new car

I had an oil change a couple months ago. Today I got in my car to pull out of my brand new driveway to find a puddle of oil, approximately 2 quarts. After checking the oil on the dipstick, and finding nothing, I did my best to lift up my car with a scissor jack to crawl under, and try to locate the source of the oil leak. I noticed the oil filter was covered with oil and that was likely the location of the leak. I reached up and found it loosely hanging onto my car. I was fortunate my neighbor was available to give me a ride to purchase more oil. (Full synthetic as per manufacturer requirements). After adding oil, starting it up and verifying, it was safe to drive. I drove it to a mechanic at Valvoline, where they determined the oil filter was likely not put on tight enough or the gasket on the oil filter was not lubed before applying. I also found out that the location I was at the night before reported an alarming amount of oil at the parking lot I was at which means the oil began leaking the night before and I drove it home, risking seizing my engine, without even realizing it. I had to cancel my appointment with clients because of this issue and I spent the remaining part of the day scrubbing my brand new driveway.

I would like to file a lawsuit against jiffy lube.

I would like to file a lawsuit against Emerson the manager at jiffy lube in olive branch, ms store number is 3059 because of discrimination to a hard worker like myself because he had told a non employee that he was going to fire me and did not inform me about that he was going to give me a call the following day but didn't so i gave him a call and he didnt answer the phone or return my phone call back after i left him a voicemail about why he didn't give me a call back or nothing on what had happened. Also, one of his employers name Rachel was being disrespectful to a non employee and he didn't fire her not at all due to the situation thats going on , also Emerson had me working on the Vehicle's that comes to the shop for service that they are getting done to there vehicle without my mechanic license certificate when i past them with high scores on them. Please can you help me out with this especially because no manager should be talking to employee and non employment person about letting me go because i was catching on to my job fast and love what i do also, Monday through Saturday jiffey lube supposed to have at least 20 to 30 cars per day and only have only sevenper day also they had three other employees walked out on them before i got there. Also they must not be doing something right because if they was they would have more customers and no employees walking out on jiffy lube and Emerson due to failure of management and training his new employment on how everything and how the business is run correctly instead of having Rachel train me instead of Emerson doing his job Emerson be leaving before brake then come back from break moving fast and he smelling like liquor when he come back to work two hours later.

Bad service

Re: store 645 Two issues - 1) The contents of my glove box were in the passenger seat when I got my car (after the oil change). There is no reason to go thru my glove box to do an oil change. I didn't see anything missing but that is because I remove my valuables for this reason. Going through customers' glove boxes is highly inappropriate and the reason I will not be back, but there is more. The service is terrible. 2) I appeared to be the first customer of the day; I arrived at 735 am. They open at 730am. The staff started working on my car but after a car and van arrived 10 minutes later, they prioritized those cars and let my car sit. By 8am my hood had been closed and I saw nothing else being done on my car. 5 minutes later the car that came after me was on its way and I had to ask 3 times before they finally rang me up, finished vacuuming but didn't wash the windows and did not tell me they weren't able to wash them. 20 minutes later, they finally pulled my car out so I could leave. Good to know they don't prioritize the early birds.

Car engine was damaged due to negligence

After getting an oil change on 03/20/2023 at Jiffy Lube at Northlake Blvd, less than a minute after driving my oil light came on and we tried to get back to the location and then the car stalled. We were able to restart and get closer to the location when it stalled again. The Jiffy Lube employees came and realised that all the oil had drained out because they did not put back the oil filter. As a result, my engine is now ruined and the car requires a complete engine. They are saying they will replace the engine but I am not confident of this job being done there and would prefer that this job be done on my car at the dealership and be charged back to them. They also are covering only up to $35/day for a car rental which is still going to put me at some costs out of pocket. I would like a full refund of my rental expenses and I would like that my car be fixed by my dealership.

I didn't get my full check after being denied my two week notice.

I am livid with this company after they demanded people to go to a trip to later get mad at the workers because if they can't make it, the DM is upset and comes and terminates you after you did everything to the max of what they wanted and not get the time to access your life while wanting this done in a Jiffy. I did not walk out from my job. The DM told me to bring in my uniforms after asking if I can put in my two weeks notice when I didn't even do anything. But her making a burden for me to get home. I told my boss I couldn't stay there after the wrongful doing she proceeded. She was bias and didn't handle nothing professionally at ALL. Even after getting promoted I still wasn't comfortable after what was being done as a whole regardless. I would want legal action if I don't get my whole worth of my check after I was wrongfully terminated. I'll never work for another Jiffy Lube ever in my life. I gave my all in what I did and only wanted small appreciation, but got lack of it. Had the best boss, get things where it needs to be and you fire them because they couldn't go on a trip?? Even getting accused for stealing money should've been the first day I should've reported and left when it was things assigned by people who was told workers to do tasks to later skip back and retract what they said and blame you. SO UNORGANIZED. Because of management, I could've messed up someone's vehicle because of their later District Managers told me I can perform a service that can be beneficial, but thank goodness my boss stop the transaction before proceeding to explain of anything was done could've been catastrophic for their vehicle. So with all this and plus more, I really want something done about this. If a company wants people to carry integrity, Im looking for the same with the company. Getting mistreated and disrespected and see people go through that is not a place anyone would want to continue. So I need something done as soon as possible.

This company messed up my car

I took my car to get worked on and I had two to three guys working on my car. I waited for almost 5hrs and I left, then two hours later I had to come back because I was smelling smoke and my car made a loud noise. I thought my car was going to blow up. They checked it and said it was okay. I don't know anything about cars so I left. A couple days later I went back and because my car was leaking puddles of oil. When I took it back this young lady she was a supervisor, she said that the guys put my part on my car and broke it, and they knew they broke it and they left it on. She ordered me another part, and she told me to come back so that she could fix it. I came back a day later I sat in there almost 4hrs. She ended up messing up something else. She told me that they messed up my car and one of the guys that worked on my car apologized to me for messing up my car. I have all of my receipts, I have all the dates, I have pics of my car also and names of all the people. Jiffy lube has some rude people. Today is 11/22/22 and I'm still without my car. It has been 9 days since I have been without my car. They aren't communicating with me, I have to call around to find out what's going on. This is unacceptable.

Worst company on the planet

I had 2 insane experiences that led to thousands of dollars of repairs and it is already documented with you on the first. I had an oil change where the guy put in synthetic when I specifically told him not to and he wrote the next oil change 2,000 miles longer than it should have which resulted in my engine seizing. I got a new engine and 3 oil changes later I got a new oil change where the guy wrote the oil for 1,000 longer than it should have been. I am at Jiffy lube right now and the guy said dude you are 1,000 past your oil change and I said the sticker says 82,050 what are you talking about. He said well the guy wrote the wrong mileage on it then because you are at 4,000 not 3,000. I go to start my car to drive away and the engine light is now on. I am sick and tired of complete idiots that cant do a simple *** task. There is a lawyer I spoke to that already said he would represent me if Jiffy Lune cannot make this right.

Damage to vehicle/poor customer service

I had my oil changed at the store location in Owensboro Ky a couple months ago during which the worker stripped the oil pan bolt and failed to report the damage to me. I did not know this until yesterday when I was due for the next oil change and was going to change the oil myself as I usually do. This is when I discovered the stripped bolt. When I called the store to report the finding the manager said I should have reported the damage when it occurred. I asked him how I was to know the damage occurred since there was no oil leak luckily. He said bring the vehicle in and let them take a look at it which I replied with that isnt possible because the oil is drained and the bolt will not go back in properly due to the threads being stripped and his reply to me was well how do we know that you didnt do it yourself. I replied back with I was only calling to report the damage and to make him aware that his employees are causing damage and not reporting it to the customer. Thank god nothing happened that cause any engine damage however it could have had the oil drained out because of the bolt being stripped. I said I am in the process of fixing it and wanted to make him aware of the situation, but that pissed me off when he blamed me and I said I wanted to speak to someone above him which at that time he hung up on me. I called back and requested to speak to someone above him again in which he replied I could file a complaint online and hung up again. So now Im not only filing a complaint but am also requesting a refund for the service as well. This was uncalled for and should have been handled in a professional manner. Sent from my iPhone
