While I could provide lots of confusing details about tax issue, consider jg Tax Group as you might an unfaithful lover - - a pleasant distraction for awhile but ultimately a dismal failure. Without warning, they'll disappear with your money and won't even slow down to say goodbye.ax

JG Tax Group Do NOT HIRE
If you are reading this, I hope you are doing due diligence and researching companies before you hire. I understand you are perhaps worried because you received some sort of an audit or other communication from the IRS. Don't make my mistake - do NOT hire JG Tax Group. It is a bate and switch scam. They are NOT a full law firm as they claim. Here is what they do: Someone one really savvy in sales will answer the phone and charm you to death and make you feel that you are their priority. WRONG - He just wants you to pay $6,000 up front so he get his cut. Then they assign you a tax specialist who is no other than a glorified secretary to collect documents YOU put together. Then they wait until the last day on the deadline and mail your documents. Do you really want to pay $6,000 for a stamp? In my case, I believe they pissed the IRS and it had a huge impact on how my case was handled. I ended up hiring an actual CPA who charged me $400 (yes, I paid $6,000 to *** the IRS for a $400 job) After they mail your so called response, they disappear. I respect that every person will have a different case. Whatever you decide, first don't panic because that's when you probably kiss logic goodbye. Here are some wise steps and I hope they help you: 1. Breathe. Yes, just drink some water and breathe. 2. Do you have a CPA? He or she is your best bet if they handle audits. In my case I did my own taxes and so I did not have one on hand or even knew where to start. 3. If you don't have a CPA research your area the ones that either work with a tax law firm or have done audits before. 4. Collect all your receipts, or proofs of payments, any docs that would support your claims etc. and go to your appointment to you CPA. 5. Work with your CPA on the answer. All these online claims not to work with your CPA is a scare tactic - true again, based on how complex your case you might need a tax lawyer - Whatever you do, do not hire JG Tax Group. I really hope I can save a few from my own idiotic mistake.

Costly is all I can say about J&G Tax Group, Florida Company
Went to J&G for an audit by the IRS in the year 2011 for our trucking company. They took all our information. This is 2018 remind you. They said not to file taxes for 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016. We sent them our taxes for the rest of the years and they were to take care of our audit. They did nothing, and now we owe 94,000 dollars as we took their advise, as they are the professionals. We'll folks you pay them big bucks to help and they screw you! Do not do J&G folks, don't pay attention to their advertisements on TV they will put you in the hole! They are nothing but a scam and fraud! Pass it around. We are not a high dollar operation, run 6 trucks and now look at loosing everything we've worked for, for 30 years.

My experience with this group has been nothing but positive! They took me out of a bad situation. Of course they are working with many clients, so you have to have some level of patience, but overall they were excellent. I continue to use them, and i highly recommend them.

This company uses the bait and switch tatic on you. Initially you will talk to this really nice guy named Mitchell. He'll make you feel like they can take care of everything, and we shouldnt be worried. Then after you give them your money, a guy named John tells you all the BAD things that could happen. I felt like everthing should have been disclosed up front before handing over my funds. They know they are a scam because the say you cant get a refund. I wasnt with them 2 days and they dont want to give me my money back. SCAM********** DONT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why pour salt in your IRS wounds?
Failing to file and pay my taxes was the biggest mistake I've ever made. Hiring J.G. Tax group was the second biggest mistake. The ONLY service they will provide you is "ensure your compliance with the IRS". This means: Filing all the required forms you failed to file. Those forms require data that only you can provide. And you provide this data in the form of answers to their financial questionnaire and tax questionnaire for each year in question. And if you didn't have the answers back when your tax forms should've been filed, plan on having answers now. Because they will return the questionnaires repeatedly until you've answered everything. It's at this moment I realized I'd just paid $5 for JGTG to do what TurboTax does for $29.99. Their "negotiation" with the IRS to reduce penalties and interest is nothing more than setting up an Installment Agreement and submitting the IRS' standard (one time only) request for abatement form. After which, they advised their work was done and the IRS would be in contact within 6 months. When i received a response from the IRS, I learned that JGTG's experience, knowledge and pursuasive negotiation tactics resulted in the IRS reducing my penalties and interest by $0. They did, as promised, or as timing and luck would have it, prevent any liens from occurring...at least while they were still working on my case. One week AFTER my case was closed, I learned of the lien against my assets. Bankruptcy would've been a wiser decision than choosing JG Tax Group.

JG Tax Group was awesome!
I had over 10 years of unfiled taxes and knew that I was in big trouble. I spoke to other tax resolution companies but all I got was a high pressure salesman who just wanted my money and was not listening to my problem. JG Tax Group made the process easy for me and explained everything clearly. They got the IRS off my back and worked quickly to solve my problem. They were very responsive and professional. The fees were very fair and now I am back in control of my financial situation. I would not hesitate to recommend JG Tax Group to anyone who has an IRS issue.

Give credit where credit is due - Thanks JG Tax Group
When my paycheck was garnished I panicked and didn't know what to do. HR advised me to seek legal assistance, so i went on the internet and called jg tax. Within 2 days I had my garnishment released and got set up with a small installment plan to pay off my debt. 3 months later i received a notice from the IRS that they removed $4k in penalties from my debt thanks to the tax pros over at JG. I am now a true fan of theirs, but hope i don't need to hire them again. So if you do, i strongly recommend them. It's a simple phone call that changed my life.

Legally scammed
I hired JG Tax to deal with the IRS for back taxes from 2009 through 2014. After paying a large sum for this service, -- I did all the preparation of tax information, they plugged it in electronically and provided me with returns to file. Had I gone to HR Block I would have saved myself 5K. -- No settlement, adjustment, etc. was made. -- Even though the IRS considered the tax "Currently Non Taxable," penalties and interest continue to accrue. -- They said they filed an abatement, which turns out to be a single page electronic form. The wording they used for the reason for the abatement was "We are requesting a first time abatement. FTA" Nothing about my being seriously ill and disabled. -- It would cost additional funds for them to fill out (electronic form) the Offer in Compromise that actually allows you to pay less then the actual tax amount. -- The gentleman I worked with was unhelpful and condescending. For these reasons, I would not recommend going with JG Tax and would spend the necessary funds to go through an HR Block or other like tax preparation company before hiring someone to submit the abatement or Offer in Compromise. Else you are throwing away money needed to actually pay off the IRS.

Where my very frustrated, stressed husband wrote "Promised to file my returns and stop levy for 5900.00 with the IRS absolutely did nothing but steal my money!". This is not true. They have been working on our tax returns. Sometimes it is too easy, to post on the internet! We would still ask the owner of this website to please remove our post, and please respond to our communications. Sometimes the internet makes it too easy to write something, and then impossible to remove or edit. So, again, yes, they have been working on our returns. Thank You, Sincerely.

JG Tax was well worth it!
My business has been slow the last few years and I found it very difficult to pay my 940 and 941 taxes while still maintaining other bills to keep my business afloat. After meeting an IRS officer one time, I quickly realized that they don’t care what excuse I had. I then decided it would be best if I didn’t meet the agent again so I looked to hire an attorney. Many choices are out there most of which looked questionable. Only JG Tax Group and one other actually listed some of their professionals. I called both and could easily tell JG Tax was talking straight with me while the other was telling me more of what I wanted to hear. I am an intelligent business man and if something sounds too good to be true, then it’s probably not true. So I hired JG and they helped me each step of the way, from filing the missing returns to reaching an agreement I could manage (and that the IRS had to accept). Add all this up, plus their fee was less than what most others were asking, they are the best at what they do. If you need tax help, a phone call to JG Tax will be well worth your time.
