Poor Communication

The flight time updates were extremely inaccurate. This occurred on multiple flights, in particular my connecting flights. On one leg, the connecting flight was over an hour late and the app kept updating us, but the times were incorrect. I could have gotten some food, but I did not want to miss the flight. If the information was accurate, I could have gotten something to eat. Additionally, the food service on the plane was out of all meals and only had cheese snacks. On another leg of the same journey, my initial flight was pushed back so far, that it was not going to leave until after the connection was set to go. Customer service was able to reroute me, but I had to a different airport. Cost me another $200 to get home! Thenthe original flight changed- and went out on time! The new flight was supposed to leave at 10:30. We wound up leaving at 1:30 AM. No food and no snack served, only water.

Terrible experience

Do jI flew back from JFK to LAX Tues 7/25 supposed to take off at 2:30 pm. The flight kept delayed at least 5 times till 6:30 pm . At 6 pm , some of us get a food coupon for $12 ( what can we buy for $12 now ) While we went to food court , I went with a young mother with a baby in a baby carriage , we never heard the announcement gate is closed , we ran to the gate , there are 5 other passengers did not hear gate boarding .. the lady at the gate was so rude & angry yelling at us & almost did not let go went on the plane, &said because of the baby allowed us to get on even though we kept saying at food courts we did not hear announcements. After we all get on the plane , we waited another 30 mins till plane took off flying . Why yelling at us if it is not our problems . You should people to food court since you send us there to use the coupon . Even after we get on the plane , still take 30 mins , why be so mean & angry at us. Worst experience ever i travel a lot around the world . First flight with JetBlue . AA served food , alcohol free , fantastic service . JetBlue charges everything even blankets & treat us like dirt !

20 hours delayed flight

reservation #LNAVKN #ZJNODN Purchased a JetBlue vacation package that included all-inclusive hotel in Cancun Mexico for 2 adults and a one year old boy. The flight was scheduled to leave at 2:53pm from Cancun Airport, but kept getting delayed. We left the hotel at 11:45am on 7/25/2023. By the time we finished check in, the agent at the counter told us the flight was scheduled to leave 6:18pm and arriving in New York JFK airport at 11:33pm. I have it in writing. We kept on getting delayed messages which I saved all the images. Now the flight is delayed to 11am. I understand that there are uncontrollable circumstances. We are traveling with 4 adults and two children(2 and 1 year old). The biggest problem is now the flight is delayed more than 20 hours and now there are complications in our daily lives. My friend owns a nail salon and now his store is about to lose a full day of profit which is over $1000. I am going to miss a contract deal that I had a meeting to close for my business which is costing me $2445 and a hotel reservation that I booked for $1577.10. We are sincerely reaching out to find a solution to resolve the issue.

Bad service receivrd

Fly 2110 in Dominican Republic on 7/16/23 was delayed 12 times. I stated 31 hours in the airport. We have to check two time. My and family was frustrated experience.

Discrimination

Hi my name is Shane (Boston Ma) and I was flying out of Miami airport heading to back home with my two children when the flight attendant Tammy from Jet blue told the pilot she felt threaten by my kids plus 2 other black people. The first Gentleman that was put off the plan over heard Tammy talking nasty about the black passengers thats when she stated he should have never been listening to her conversation. He then told her she was having the conversation directly in our direction how can we not listen to it. She told the captain the black guy was making her uncomfortable thats when they asked him to remove his self . The other passengers proceeded to stick up for this man because he did nothing wrong and he was very polite about the situation. He was a veterinarian at that! He shouted out , I severed this country and this is the thanks that I get as they removing him off the plane. So after that the passengers was upset that this situation has happened. When he got moved , my daughter 16yrs old sat next to me and Tammy asked her if she can come talk to her and I said for what whats the issue, Thats my daughter talk to me Im her father in a calm manner then she said okay and sat back down as the plane was about to take off. Thats when the pilot made in an account about one of the engine being shut down and next thing I know the police was on board kicking my child off. A minor! I didnt understand what was the issue. The offices said the flight attendant Tammy felt threaten AGAIN by another black person. Its not fair! This is very disgusting and something needs to be done because thats unacceptable! I am waiting for Monday so I can speak to a lawyer because why is my child being kicked off the flight and jet blue told her shes not allowed to be on jet blue anymore ! Something needs to be done immediately! I had I over 30 families members flying with jet blue because we just finished a family reunion and this happens. I am a gay 33 year old single father of 3, manager for nursing which I have a work 7am and now I wont make it because I have to pay for 4 new flights with a different airline all because Tammy is racial profiling its not fair. I will be going on all social networks to let them know how me and my family was treated and how she discriminates black people

I am pissed with my experience with JetBlue it was the worst

My flight was delayed on my reservation both from slc -MBj and from MBj-slc. My suitcase broke when traveling to Jamaica I have my suitcase as evidence I had no idea I could claim the damage I have jetblue a call and I received a travel credit I did not want the travel credit I was my reimbursement through my Cc used I have the receipt transaction. In addition traveling from MBj was the worst while traveling with a toddler my flight was delayed plus I had to try reach the other flight that I missed the wheel was broker off and it was hectic to travel with my child. I went to the ticketing area where I shared my dissatisfaction and non of it was documented I spoke about my suitcase and it was not documented that day its a lot of miscommunication my hotel was booked and I was told Id be able to be at the hotel up until it was time for my flight. When I got to the hotel I was told I have to check out at 12pm. I landed 7:35pm in FLL and I sat in the airport with my daughter until 11pm trying to figure this out I had no diaper or food for her. I went to the hotel and the driver was not helpful being that I have a baby abd my suitcase was damage cannot be pushed. The hotel has no water to make my baby formula Im being told by the front desk and that I have to walk to Walgreen by the corner with my child. I have a job that I need to be so I cant provide for my daughter and for this to happen Im pissed. I had to walk to change ticket where my daughter feel and slammed her body and who is there to help no one I had to ask a complete stranger to assist me. The new booking was for 7:50 pm I got to the airport 2pm with my luggage and have to sit with my daughter for 9 hours I ran out of food and diapers. My baby does not eat solids she is picky and to see her fuss and cry because shes hungry breaks my heart I purchase food in the airport I was not given a food voucher until I spoke with the supervisor again a rep by the name of Givon called for a supervisor and her name is BILLY the same one I spoke with the night I missed my flight she said she made documentation on my reservation and everything will be shown. I have my receipts of the purchase ls I made at the airport and for the suitcase. I need to know what is going to happen. Because of jetblue I have to miss work and thats unfair because time is money and I need to provide for my daughter. I am not sure Im interested with traveling with jet blue again I have my fam coming her in September 3 adults and Ill be looking to cancel their flight. Hey blue did me tired and there is a lot of miscommunications that needs to be resolved I need a valid resolution.I got my suitcase from Ross for $64 I bought that 3 days prior to travel king to Jamaica traveling back home I had to borrow my sister suitcase which cost $120 its a Tommy Hilfiger I dont have that proof because I have not landed as yet the imagine that I uploaded is what I spent at the airport the 9 longs hours I was there with my child jetblue should have compensated and booked an additional for me to stay

You billed me twice for the same ticket

Jet Blue Confirmation Number: YLHLNV Hi this is Shamima Yeasmin Smrite, a Diplomat from Bangladesh Government working in the Embassy of Bangladesh in Washington D.C. I am flagging an extreme disappointment note here what I had to face this morning while I was traveling with my two minor kids and spouse from JFK to Buffalo on 5th July. I never found your staffs were helpful to disseminate a real scenery of todays flight cancellation to Buffalo when I was repeatedly seeking their help whether this flight will ultimately go. However, due to power outage you had to cancel it and when I repeatedly asked your help desk whether I can get back my luggage as I have an extremely urgent engagement in Buffalo and for the non cooperation I didnt get the luggage timely. Not only that I had to spend an amount of USS 516 to get the immediate train ticket to go to Buffalo. Not only that your agency designated new flight route through Boston to Buffalo of todays flight ! How could a professional airlines service can deal its customer like this and as a Diplomat I have full immunity, not biased by your terms & conditions rules. However, I am adding my all extra expenditure to make this trip here and I want my full refund ASAP including my additional cost u Incurred to manage the train ticket also. Canceled flight

I am not sure I will ever fly Jet Blue again. Our flight from JFK to Reno was cancelled about 30 minutes prior to scheduled departure. We live out west so it was complicated. We found last minute housing and had to rent a car for 6 days. Jet Blue could not find a flight to Reno until 6 days. Finally we head to JFK looking forward to getting home. I am traveling with a 4 year old grandson and a husband with Parkinsons Disease. Super excited to board this next flight, we finally felt like we were going home. Until.. after 3 hours sitting on the tarmac, this flight was cancelled also. I could not believe it!!! We spent the night in the airport sitting up all night and we were out on a 7 am flight to LAX. We spent 7+ hours at LAX waiting for our flight to Reno. I feel very angry. Jet Blue needs to be better than this.

Terrible service & destruction of human rights

On Thursday, June 29, 2023, I was traveling with my family, and we were at Montego Bay, Jamaica, Sangster International Airport awaiting to board the 2:08 PM (ET) JetBlue flight to JFK. Meanwhile, an audio announcement over the PA system requested that I report to JetBlue departure counter. I expeditiously complied. A JetBlue female staff member requested that I submit to a drug screening for narcotics possession. I complied to this request. The process was stressful, overwhelming, degrading, and humiliating. This was devasting psychologically and emotionally. In addition, I was near many of the passers-by passengers, some of whom were boarding the aircraft. The people were looking at me and undoubtedly assumed that I was being detained by the authorities for possible criminal behavior. My person and belongings were physically searched, and I was repeatedly interrogated. Further, I requested to use the bathroom after being detained for some time. I even suggested to JetBlue staff that I be escorted to a nearby bathroom for urgent use, but my request was not granted until after the sixth request. In conclusion, the female staff that conducted the drug screening appeared not properly trained for identifying contraband or interacting with the public. She inaccurately identified tobacco leaves in my possession as marijuana (cannabis). Tobacco leave is not marijuana or narcotic, and it is not illegal to possess. This situation caused me emotional and mental distress. I am requesting that whomever it may concern investigate this complaint and get back to me as soon as possible. A terrible injustice was done to me by JetBlue staff. Your prompt response and a resolution of this matter would be appreciated. I have never flew standby before I was really nervous for days about this flight, anyhow, my friend continues to check on it for me and luckily It seem there is room so now Im just waiting basically to board the plane. I read online and I asked him what to do if I should go to the gate counter and let them know that Im here and Im a stand by passenger. It was a dark skinned lady who barely had a neck and she looked very lost. In general. She asked for my last name I gave it to her and she said OK I said Im all good she said yeah so I sat down I was sitting on the very far end of the gate being there is no seats so after they call Group D (which I am technically in but obviously I have no seat) I asked my friend what to do and he said to wait until my name is called. So I wait about 10 minutes, I turned back around and theres nobody in line and I go up and it seems like they were just closing the door but the lady by the scanner for the tickets is still there. She told me that the flight has took it off already, even though I can see the plane outside . Well, as im talking to her, the lady I checked in with at the gate is walking out the door, so I knew for sure the plane was still there. The nice lady with glasses asks her if she knew of any standby passengers and if they called for it and she so carelessly says nope. So the nice lady tells me she can basically put me on another flight, but I am stressed, I been stressed about getting on this flight and im extra stressed because now I have a whole suitcase sitting in whiteplains new york and there is no other flight to white plains today. Ive literally taken my unpaid vacation days off just so I can visit my brothers grave and see my family. So the nice lady goes to ask her supervisor what they can do for my bag. Well, the supervisor is eavesdrop on my phone call to my friend and I said oh, No what the heck am I gonna do ? He said they didnt call your name, standby passengers, nothing I said No he said you checked in with then right & I absolutely did, he added well, they didnt do their job then so the supervisor came as I was stressing and instead of comforting me , this miserable, envious, slobe tells me youre done & Im confused but I said well, maam, i do apologize but could you not see how frustrating that is, you guys just took my bag to white plains and I have no ride, I apologize, please I just want to make this right. & the nice girl with the glasses proceeds to ask can I roll over her ticket & the supervisor as well as the other one (that literally made me miss the flights by checking in with her and her not even bothering to call my name) both turn around and are like no, youre not flying. I asked if she was serious & explained how unprepared that it because obviously its normal for customers to get upset but its crazy how she reacted. She was such a hater & that other slobe shouldve done her job as well.

Horrinle customer service , do not care about diabetic

Good morning , I have already reported this to the news, bed of business bureau and social media. However I do understand you are not the only airlines who has canceled flights and you are going to say it is because of weather. However my husband is a type 1 diabetic and your company has not done anything for him as a solution to getting insulin, food, hotel and or any accommodations and have now canceled 4 flights on him within 2 days and have given us various different reasons. So it is no longer weather when your company is telling us its mechanical issues or that jet blue is telling passengers they cant leave because they are short staffed and someone did now show up to work. He was supposed to leave Saturday from JFK at 5:07 pm on a flight going to Miami airport. The confirmation is MOCOVP. They delayed it then csnceled it while he was at the airport and first said mechanical Issues and then weather. We called a bunch of times while he also asked in person and and they said the soonest next flight would be out of newark and the next day. He was supposed to work Sunday night. They found a flight for him for sunday morning out of newark. He then paid for a rental car left the airport and went to familys house almosr 2 hour drive paying for tolls and gas. Gets to newark airport next day and it was supposed to leave in the morning at 6:00 am and arrive in Fort Lauderdale at 9:30 am and it was canceled. Then he is put on a flight for Monday night that was delayed and then canceled and also waited a while at newark airport and after returning the other rental had ti pay for a second one to be able to drive somewhere. He has now had to lay out so much in rental car food gas and tolls and missed work. He was then put on a flight for Tuesday night from westchester New York going to Fort Lauderdale Florida and gets to the airport at 5 pm thinking its leaving at 7:30 pm and the weather was perfect in both cities. Then was delayed until 1:51 am. He is then told at 11 pm that the plane has mechanical issues and they have to get a new plane and wait for one from fort Myers Florida and when that one comes Then can board. At 1:06 am they are told It is canceled due to being short staffed and someone did not show up to work. So now he has to miss work 3 days and lose the money and 2 rental cars later , days in 3 different airports gas and more has been about 800.00. He again is also a diabetic and running reallt low on insulin and waiting to get home to Florida. We have been given all of these different reasons and you need to get him home and we need compensation for all of this. Delayed flight for more than 20 hours

We were at the JFK airport with my family of 5 including me since yesterday at 3:30pm our flight was supposed to depart at 7:10pm it got delayed for 20 hours because we are still at the airport right now, flight number is 1328 goint to Guatemala I would like to please start a claim compensation for each one of us if possible please because we are been here for 20 hours already There are 2 children in my family we had to sleep over at the airport because we did not have transportation or hotel, also buying food because we did not get vouchers provided for food, it has been frustrating plus the only answers that we got from your crew member was that , we dont have a pilot for the airplane due to the one that was suppossed to it just arrived from miami (long trips) and he has been completed his shift, jet blue

Dissatisfied

I was told I cannot carry on a bag and hold it between my legs I was ask to pay to upgrade my seat in order to use the overhead storage I upgrade my seat and all the overhead cabinets were full I was the asked by the flight attendant to keep my bag between my legs Now why did I have to pay additional 140 and the same thing happened that I was told I can't do... Plus they damage my check on bag.
