Warranty and overall quality

We purchased a few items from Jeromes. Bunk bed, kitchen table and sectional. Each item had issues. The bed , during the installation the workers who put it together broke the screws and when trying to get a replacement they said it is out of stock/discontinued and never were able to fix it. Our sectional couch, we have called the warranty for repair and hardly ever get a response. Most recent was late June and we send pictures and they never respond. Sales men said everything is covered and that is not true. Each stain has to be done separately which is an issue when time isnt on your side. Lastly our kitchen table has sharp, and unsafe creases in them and we had to switch it out but it was hard and had to reason with manager to finally allow them to do so. So overall Jeromes gets an F for qualify, customer service, and overall. Save yourself time and money and go somewhere else

Customer service

Horrible customer service. We bought an expensive recliner that stopped working a couple of months after the 1 yr warranty. Jerome's would not offer any service, even if after I said I would pay for it. They said I should have bought the "extended warranty" and left it at that. Now I have an expensive recliner that doesn't recline! .

Customer Service

Have been trying for over a month to reach someone regarding a piece of furniture we purchased 1 1/2 years ago and its already falling apart. Every call to the store where it was purchased results in a promise that customer service will call. Nothing!! Im beyond angry! Its impossible to actually talk to anyone, theyve made sure you only get recorded messages! Dont buy what theyre selling!!!

Waiting to hear back about the rest of my warranty that I can not utilize

I'm still waiting to hear fromJeromes customer service to get back to me about the 3years that was left on my 5 year warranty, from the sectional they picked up, they gave me credit to buy a new sofa and I did and I purchased a whole new 5 yr warranty, since they don't use the manufacturer from the old sectional I bought they weren't able to honor that warranty my phone number is 626-388-**** my name is carol fregeolle....maybe I need to talk to the father/son team from the commercials!

Horrible customer service

Takes over 60mins to get thru to the manufacturer warranty. Which is contacting the store directly. It's horrible. The opps protection can't transfer you cuz it's not there proble. Plus they handle different stores. I've had 3 issues within the 1st 6months of purchase. One issue is still pending, waiting over 4 months for part. I will never purchase here again

I would give zero stars if I could. Absolute terrible terrible customer service. The worst customer service from any store I have ever received.

Where are my replacement couch cushions??????? I ordered them last June, and have gotten nothing but the run around ever since. No one ever text me back, OR CALLES ME BACK... sick of this ***

Ok poor customer service

Delivery day set put aside everything for today waited all day and you call 1 hour before delivery and cancel. And now want me to miss another day of work for your schedule to deliver. Awful just awful and this is after waiting 6 months for this to arrive.

Horrible CS and Buying Experience

I am still waiting on my dresser and chest to be fixed. Supposedly, parts will be in early April 2022.

I purchased three pieces of bedroom furniture on 09/05/2021 totaling $2,150.75. My chest and nightstand were delivered beginning of Oct as promised, but the top drawer did not work properly and tech was sent out and submitted request for new drawer. Last piece of furnitures, Dresser, was delivered at a later date as promised, but the top drawer was also broken - how much broken furniture do they send to their customers - another tech sent out, but never sent in request to have drawer fixed - why??? I called and sent pictures over to them on Oct 5th of the broken drawer and they offered to replace the chest and dresser, but I DECLINED-who's to say these won't be broken as well, also the furtniture smells terrible and has to be aired out for a week or two before using and I REFUSE to do that again. As of today, March 15, 2022 my chest and dresser still have broken parts!!! I was told parts would be delivered early March. Not one staff member followed up with me and told me it was delayed now until early April, I had to proactively reach out to them for the 5th time!!!! There is no way to file a compliant with the Corporate location, I've tried. They always tell me that they'll take my complaint or you can file a complaint at the bottom of the Jerome's website in this section and someone will call you back. They are so full of it! The service in the store was poor and the store associates, majority I dealt with, were jerks and argumentative! I have had to follow up way to many times on this. Jerome's simply does not care and I have a credit card with them that I will not use because of it. Jerome's is one of the worse furnitures stores besides Ashley Furniture! Never again! My coins will stay in my pocket!

Looking for help on getting an old power recliner, repaired, or ordering replacement parts?

I have been a customer since Jerome's had a warehouse on 16th st, back in the day. I have been doing business in San Marcos, since living in North County. Years ago, I bought a large fabric power recliner. the power stopped and aside from that the chair is in real good condition, so I need a repair person or company, or if necessary, parts from the manufacture, to continue to enjoy the chair. If I decided to purchase a new chair, then I would need someone to take down and take the old chair away? I am looking into what my options are, as i am disabled, and now difficult to get around. Waiting on a refund

I ordered furniture on 1/21/22. I cancelled a portion of the order totaling $2200.00 on 1/22/22. I was told by customer service that I would get the refund in 3-5 business days. As of 1/28/22 I still have not received my refund. When I called the store, I was told the request was sent but somehow missed by the manager and that I should now receive a refund within 5-7 business days. It's my money. It's not my fault the manager didn't do his/her job. Refund my money.

Poorest quality furniture and zero customer service.

Jerome's Furniture has been around for 50 years. In those 50 years, the company has expanded immensely and lost their way of providing customer service and quality merchandise. Gone are the days when they sold brand name, sturdy merchandise. Now the pure junk comes mostly from China, items made of pressed wood products, vinyl, cheap upholstery fabric, bedding is the lowest quality you'll find in the marketplace. Every item they sell is low quality, wears out quickly or breaks and you are unable to get a hold of customer service. A couple of years ago, Jerome's settled a large class action lawsuit for their sales of faulty bonded leather furniture. Did that deter them from continuing to sell it? Not a chance. All sales are final, even online sales. Once you sign the dotted line, that's it. I urge anyone that is considering buying from these scammers to check the BBB complaints, Yelp, and other review websites. It backs up everything I've stated.

Bad experience at Sab Marcos Jerome's

I haven't herd from Jerome's, on Fruday 21st when i went to the Jerome's store, they said i would hear from someone in 48 hours, but when i called them, they said that someone was going to call me within 24 hours, but haven't herd from no one

I bought a day bed like 2 and a half moths ago, and like almost a month ago i started having issues with the bed. After so many calls, text messages, emails, guys coming to take a look and pictures of the bed, they agree for me to exchange the bed, so i when i went to a Jerome's in Mira Mesa, (because i didn't want it to go back to San Marcos, because of their bad customer service), so after looking at the beds and choosing one and the mattress, they told me that i could only get the bed but without the mattress. I was so upset and so frustrated, because i thought they were going to give me credit so i could use it towards the other bed, well i told them that the bed was coming apart, had given me too many issues, and all they said was that someone was going to call me back in 48 hours, but they never do, I always have to call them. I'm going to have to wait, and just for them to tell me the same thing. It's been a nightmare. HELP ME PLEASE!

Shipment delay

Ordered and paid for furniture beginning of Nov 2021 (Torrance, CA) and delivery has been delayed twice. No one is providing any answers. My family had to sit in folding chairs for Christmas. So disappointed and embarrassed that my house is still without furniture after two months. Never shopping there ever again. Zero accountability, zero apologies, zero solution. The least they could do is provide temporary furniture until mine arrives but nope. They continue to point the blame at each other. Next stop = REFUND!!!

Product not what we ordered

Bought mattresses and adjustable frame, mattresses were not what we sampled in store. Took almost a year to get someone out to check out the mattresses to be told there was nothing wrong with them. We never said there was something wrong with them except we ordered soft mattresses and concrete is softer than these. We paid way to much for the crap we got. We bought sofas years before this which I like but we got talked into the over priced insurance that does not cover what the sales people say it covers. They are a bunch of layers. I used to tell people to go there for furniture now I will tell people to go somewhere else. Very disappointed in the way they lied and handled this situation.

Took 8 phone calls and 10 emails to return something that was not working from day1

poor customer service and unacceptable return policy will not shop there ever again. Tried to return an adjustable bed base that was not compatible with my headboard and new mattress and had to pay $300.00 for re stocking .Prior to that I had to have 6 service calls and they still could not correct the problem which meant scheduling a 4 hour block of time to wait for each service person . Extremely difficult to get a hold of customer service . Additionally 1 of the buttons on the bed base remote did not work at all and they wanted to refer me to manufacturer even though I had only had bed and base a week.
