Flooded walls from bad pipes

Purchased in January 2022 White Hawk. Nothing but issues from the start. Small stuff no problem, but first trip out both black tank flush hoses poured water into the walls of the trailer. Not one but both. Go Figure. took me a week to get into the dealer for repairs. They did a moisture meter test and fixed hoses supposably. Did not check for any damage inside walls and now say it's fixed. This trailer is a reel piece. Jayco should be so proud of there quality. They don't care and won't take care of the issue. Never buy from this company!

Manufacturing defect/safety issue

Updated by user Aug 01, 2023
This was a one time purchase

Original review Jul 31, 2023
Had this camper app. 2 months when power failed. No breakers thrown so on cycling power again, external electrical sparking/arcing witnessed and burning plastic smell noted. Had to retain an independent repair service as towing to dealer would have been on me. Repair tech found main internal power cable pinched, wedged and melted so badly he couldn't remove it having to cut above and below, then placing new cable, conduit and junction box. Jayco "customer service" cited their "warranty" when I stated the repair tech said this was clearly manufacturing defect and were oblivious to the real potential danger. They agreed to reimburse the costs I incurred but made it seem they were doing me a huge favor. Totally angry and would not have purchased this had I known 3 months ago. Any suggestions??

Major mildew problem under the floor being caused by sweating medal duct work.

The heating metal ducts under the floor have mold on the outside of the metal. It would appear that the cool A/C air is flowing down into the metal ducts and the cool air now in the ducts reacts with the hot air under the floor which causes the metal duct to sweat with condensation on the outside up against the insulation and as a result with no air flow mold and mildew is created under the floor. We have been living with the problem before it became too bad, so I hired an RV certificated technician to investigate the source and we suspected a leak on a slide-out side wall, but that wasn't the case. So next we checked the plumbing in the bathroom, not the problem. The tech open up the black seal under the trailer and spotted the mold problem right away. This mold problem is the results of a design construction error and the only way I can possibly try to fix it is to block up the duct work at every floor register and hope that that works to keep the cool A/C air out the the heating ducts and prevent further mold to grow on the outside of the metal heating ducts. I definitely expect Jayco to reimburse me for all of the repairs to date and I'm hoping that my plan to block the ducts works. Unfortunately, this will take time to notice whether it is going to fix the mold problem. If not I plan to contact an attorney in the future. Worst experience, they would not help with this leaking, falling in floor of a mess trailer, put off over & over until one day oh your warranty is out.

Sorry customer service from camping world in bossier city louisiana & jayco. Too many phone calls & videos sent & never fixed, it was a lemon from the start that they kept in the shop to fix some things that still leaked & would not get it done in a timely manner until the warranty was out then too bad its yours with all the same problems its had from the start.

Defective products

Original review May 24, 2023
Brand new travel trailer. Paid $32,000. Had it for 10 months and never got to go camping in it. Roof leaked. Fridge not insulated. A/C non-functional and NUMEROUS other defects. Destroyed my summer 2021. Left me stranded and homeless in PA. Beth Peffley, Jayco towables product support lead, said their only responsibility is to fix the defects at no cost to me. Design flaws, too many to count. And their cust srv reps are awful. The law says that if I make a timely request, with good reason, for a full refund that I am entitled to a full refund. Within 5 months of owning the defective unit I made five requests for Jayco to take back their junk and refund my purchase price. Jayco said laws do not apply to them as long as they honor their warranty. Jayco SUCKS

Trying to let people know about Jayco quality

Purchased a 2022 Jayco 32BHDS in August of 22 (which cost 47,000) and was delivered with a broken safety chain and the entry door would not close without assistance long story short paneling was failing off in the bedroom the fridge stopped working both slide outs leak and the bedroom leaks all within 3 months so now it sits at the dealership (for the last 2 months) and I have been fighting with Jayco to fix it first they said the slide out seals were not covered but after some talking (I had to call Jayco myself)its finally getting fixed not that Im happy Im wondering what else is going to happen with this JEM so if anyone is looking to buy a Jayco watch out the quality dropped off somewhere but the price didnt

I am so upset with my North Point 382FLRB

!!I purchased my new 2022 in March 2022, I have had nothing but problems with this unit. From the day we bought it there were issues and trying to schedule and get them taken care of has been a true hassle. I have had so many people tell me we bought a COVID camper, I asked what does that mean? They all have said they put them together so fast and no quality and cheapest labor they could find. Then I tried to sell it back to the dealer and the dealer told me it depreciated 57K in less than 7 months. That is terrible and I do not suggest that you buy the brand. We bought new so we would not have issues and thats all we have had, from leaks, wood work, grill not lighting, leveling system half works, slide outs, refrigerator, toilets, so disappointed in this RV that I cry literally daily because we live in it full time and the issues are endless. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE BRAND!!!

Called TECHNICAL SERVICE LINE and asked about no water coming from any of the sinks or shower

Everything I have read about no water at all coming from the hot side of the sinks or shower, says it is the check valve in the back of the hot water holding tank. The person I talked to was absolutely clueless. THIS is your version of technical help??? Maybe they should have SOME knowledge of what they are representing. JAYCO TECH LINE SUCKS

Brand New Motorhome broken down

I had my brand new motorhome delivered to my house. I took it on 1 trip. There were many issues with the motorhome. The outside entertainment center was not working. The hot water heater did not work. The brakes let go coming through the smoky mountains. There are many issues with this motorhome. I would not recommend a Jayco to anyone.

Unhappy with our RV

We purchased our RV new and have had nothing but issues. The mirror broke off while it was stationary. The screws are popping up through the floor. The kitchen sink started leaking and had to be replaced. End cap has been repainted three different times. The pony wall loosened. The cabinets are falling apart. Bits of the wall are separating from it.

They don't stand behind there product

We just purchased a 2023 Jayco Greyhawk from LeMase in Port St Lucie, Fl and cannot open the entrance door to the motor home. The regular key will unlock the one lock, butt can't get the key in the dead bolt lock. This is going on for over 2 weeks, that's as long as we've owner the motor home. Called LeMase too often to remember and nothing. Then Do not the service rep for Jayco at LeMase calls and say he will order a new lock and let me know when it comes in probably 2-3 days, that's over a week ago and no call back. I called him but as usually got voicemail and no call back.Do not buy from these people they are terrible.

Horrible Customer Service

The quality of brand new camper is by far the worst Ive ever seen. Problem after problem with this. I have to pack more tools then anything when I go on trips. And Jayco customer service is the only thing worse then their quality control department. Never ever experienced what I am experiencing with Jayco. Very sad for a company to take advantage of people during a pandemic and leave you to figure it out. WILL NEVER RECOMMEND OR PURCHASE ANOTHER JAYCO PRODUCT!!!
